Medical Plants are being used for more than a thousand year, with evidences dating before the Mauryain Era (around 322 BCE), they are widely used in the Ayurvedic school of medicine for therapeutic as well as medicinal purposes, it requires an expert to identify the species as well as the medical property associated with a given plant. This paper aims to use deep learning in order to identify a given plant using the leaves of the plant by using a pretrained Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model namely ResNet50 and MobileNet to extract the latent vector which will then be passed to K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) algorithm in order to identify the plant class, the best accuracy of the proposed models comes out to be 97.65%. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, deep learning and machine learning methods have been extensively employed in almost every field due to their capability of data processing and analysis. These are the subdomains of Artificial intelligence that gather information in different formats and from different sources. Human Activity Recognition using smartphones and wearable sensors has evolved into a dynamic field with numerous applications and challenges. Ongoing research efforts continue to refine methodologies, address challenges, and expand the scope of Human activity recognition, making it an exciting area with significant potential. Nowadays everyone is using smartphones, so it is easy to find their applications in health monitoring, fitness tracking, context-aware computing, and security. The ability to automatically detect activities such as walking, running, and sleeping opens avenues for personalized services and interventions that help in people's daily lives. While traditional machine learning and deep learning models offer valuable insights individually, ensemble learning presents an opportunity to further enhance accuracy and robustness. This research work aims to give a concise overview of the various deep learning and machine learning approaches, their convergence, and an analysis of the applications of these algorithms in the field of smartphone sensor-based human activity recognition. © 2024 IEEE.

The need for a personalized user experience brought recommendation systems to the forefront of digital innovation. However, traditional approaches tend to often forget human emotions, which represent a critical driver in decision making. The paper proposes a new framework in which the detection of emotions becomes part of the recommendation system through advanced facial expression analysis and sentiment evaluation. The paper discusses a hybrid architecture combining emotion recognition via CNN and a collaborative filtering technique for dynamic recommendations. The study outcome demonstrated an enormous improvement in user engagement and satisfaction. It further underlines the transformative potential of emotion-aware systems. © 2025 IEEE.

Real-time 3-D view reconstruction in an unfamiliar environment poses complexity for various applications due to varying conditions such as occlusion, latency, precision, etc. This article thoroughly examines and tests contemporary methodologies addressing challenges in 3-D view reconstruction. The methods being explored in this article are categorized into volumetric and mesh, generative adversarial network based, and open source library based methods. The exploration of these methods undergoes detailed discussions, encompassing methods, advantages, limitations, and empirical results. The real-time testing of each method is done on benchmarked datasets, including ShapeNet, Pascal 3D+, Pix3D, etc. The narrative highlights the crucial role of 3-D view reconstruction in domains such as robotics, virtual and augmented reality, medical imaging, cultural heritage preservation, etc. The article also anticipates future scopes by exploring generative models, unsupervised learning, and advanced sensor fusion to increase the robustness of the algorithms. © 2020 IEEE.

Indian Cuisine has a peculiar aroma and flavour distinct from other cuisines. On the other hand, Obesity, Diabetes, and Hypercholesterolemia are severe problems in the Republic of India. This research aims to develop and analyze a Deep Learning model based on OpenCV for identifying Indian cuisine and determining their calories. Indian Cuisine dataset was built by extracting images from the internet and preprocessing them to fine quality. From the dataset, the classification of Indian Cuisine was done by Convolutional Neural Network, and with the help of image processing techniques, calories of the classified food were calculated. After an enormous amount of analysis, the developed model detects Indian food cuisine with an accuracy of 99.19% on training data and 95.30% on testing data;also, the estimation of calories was the accuracy with an error variation of ±10 calories to the actual food. © 2022

In the contemporary world, humanoid robots are likely to play a key role in various fields, including health care, domestic service, hospitality, business, and military and security activities. The robots are employed to assist people in accomplishing specific missions or sometimes substitute human beings in hazardous situations. To accomplish these missions effectively, humanoid robots should be very good at recognition and subsequent processing of objects. The main goal of this research is to enhance the object recognition capabilities Leverage the advancements in deep learning to provide the control of Robotis-Op3 humanoid robots. In this work, the researchers analyzed popular deep neural models, among which are VGG16 and ResNet, highly promoted for their robust object recognition ability, as well as the more recent CNN architectures such as SSD MobileNetV3. This research improves object recognition capabilities on hu-manoid robots as such to enhance performance. in different domains, allowing them to better recognize and interact with the objects around them. This development will then allow more efficient and effective utilization of humanoid robots, extending their application and contribution in society. © 2025 IEEE.

If the heart attack occurswithout any symptoms, it cannot be cured by an intelligent detection *** effective diagnosis and detection of CHD should prevent human ***, intelligent systems employ clinical-based decision support approachesto assist physicians in providing another option for diagnosing and detecting *** paper aims to introduce a heart disease prediction model including phaseslike (i) Feature extraction, (ii) Feature selection, and (iii) Classification. At first,the feature extraction process is carried out, where the features like a time-domainindex, frequency-domain index, geometrical domain features, nonlinear features,WT features, signal energy, skewness, entropy, kurtosis features are extractedfrom the input ECG signal. The curse of dimensionality becomes a severe *** paper provides the solution for this issue by introducing a new ModifiedPrincipal Component Analysis known as Multiple Kernel-based PCA for dimensionality reduction. Furthermore, the dimensionally reduced feature set is thensubjected to a classification process, where the hybrid classifier combining bothRecurrent Neural Network (RNN) and Restricted Boltzmann Machine (RBM)is used. At last, the performance analysis of the adopted scheme is compared overother existing schemes in terms of specific measures.

By allowing users to easily find appropriate healthcare professionals, access detailed prescription data, and receive symptom-based specialist recommendations, the app facilitates effective self-management of chronic conditions. Furthermore, it offers proactive care prompts, personalized advice, and health behavior reminders to promote better overall health outcomes. Despite challenges in data security, privacy, and equitable access, the study emphasizes the importance of a user-centered design approach in ensuring the widespread adoption and success of mHealth applications. Several newly developed techniques and tools for manipulating images, audio, and videos have been introduced as an outcome of the recent and rapid breakthroughs in AI, machine learning, and deep learning. While most applications for these techniques or tools are in the fields of entertainment and education, some individuals with unlawful intent have also been benefited from them. These individuals use such techniques for various purposes, including the spread of misleading information and unnecessary propaganda, the incitement of political instability, hate and unrest, as well as for purposes of torture and blackmail. These high-quality and convincing manipulated images, audio, or videos are commonly referred to as ‘Deepfakes’. Since then, various solutions to the problems raised by Deepfakes have been proposed in academic studies. This literature review contains relevant publications that offered a variety of approaches to give an updated summary of the research activities in different types of Deepfake attacks, their detection, and countermeasures. It also assesses the effectiveness of the detection capabilities of different techniques with various datasets and algorithms applied in Deepfake detection, while also outlining the various benefits and drawbacks of various methodologies. © 2024 IEEE.
