While performing the typical task of point-to-point motion of redundant manipulator, single joint faults suddenly occur. Considering the effect of the configuration on the manipulator's task, here we propose an improved genetic algorithm based on the measurement of manipulator end-to-target position error and the manipulability measure, which makes the end of the manipulator arrive at the target position with less error finally. In addition, it also makes the machine has a greater operable arm configuration upon arrival. MTALAB is used for modeling and simulating with a three-link planar arm as an example. Several groups of simulation experiments are carried out to compare the improved genetic algorithm with the traditional genetic algorithm based on position error, and the simulation results are analyzed and discussed. Finally, the physical robot proves the validity and reliability of this method.

The photocatalytic properties of hollow (GaN)1-x(ZnO)x composite nanofibers synthesized by electrospinning

(GaN)1-x(ZnO)x composite nanofibers with hollow structure were prepared by initial electrospinning, and the subsequent calcination and nitridation. The structure and morphology characteristics of samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The characterization results showed the phase transition from ZnGa2O4 to (GaN)1-x(ZnO)x solid-solution under ammonia atmosphere. The preparation conditions were explored and the optimum nitridation temperature and holding time are 750 °C and 2 h, respectively. The photocatalytic properties of (GaN)1-x(ZnO)x with different Ga:Zn atomic ratios were investigated by degrading Rhodamine B under the visible light irradiation. The photocatalytic activity sequence is (GaN)1−x(ZnO)x (Ga:Zn = 1:2) > (GaN)1−x(ZnO)x (Ga:Zn = 1:3) > ZnO nanofibers > (GaN)1−x(ZnO)x (Ga:Zn = 1:4) > (GaN)1−x(ZnO)x (Ga:Zn = 1:1). The photocatalytic mechanism of the (GaN)1−x(ZnO)x hollow nanofibers was further studied by UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectra. The excellent photocatalytic performance of (GaN)1−x(ZnO)x hollow nanofibers was attributed to the narrow band gap and high surface area of porous nanofibers with hollow structure. © 2016

One-step solid-phase synthesis of binder-free molybdenum disulfide/carbon fibers paper anode for high-performance lithium-ion batteries

A facile one-step solid-phase synthesis strategy is developed for synthesizing a binder-free molybdenum disulfide/carbon fibers paper (MoS 2 /CFP) anode. The microstructure, composition, morphology and electrochemical performances were investigated. It is found that the thin MoS 2 layers are well anchored on the interlaced carbon fibers to form MoS 2 /CFP, which has mesoporous structure and large specific surface area of ∼18.8 m 2 g -1 . As a result, the obtained MoS 2 /CFP anode exhibits a reversible capacity of 261 mAh·g −1 with 31.2% loading ratio of MoS 2 . After subtracting the capacity of CFP, the MoS 2 in the composite anode delivers a reversible capacity of 539 mAh·g −1 and shows better cycle stability than commercial MoS 2 after 100 cycles at 100 mA g −1 . The remarkable electrochemical performances could be attributed to the buffer space among carbon fibers for the volume changes of MoS 2 as well as the highly conductive carbon fibers network, suggesting that the MoS 2 /CFP is a promising binder-free anode for lithium-ion batteries.

Real-time varying matrix inversion is widely used in the fields of science and engineering, e.g., image processing, signal processing and robot technology, etc. In this paper, a nonlinearity activated noise-tolerant zeroing neural network(NANTZNN) is constructed and employed to the time-dependent matrix inversion in the noisy environment. Compared with the gradient approach related neural network(GNN) and the existing noise-tolerant zeroing neural network(NTZNN), the proposed NANTZNN model is activated by specially-constructed nonlinear activation functions, and thus possesses the better convergence performance. Additionally, theoretical analyses are provided to guarantee the convergence of the proposed model. Finally, simulations are conducted to demonstrate the efficiency and superiority of the NANTZNN model for time-dependent matrix inversion,as compared with the NTZNN model.

Low temperature sintering behavior of La-Co substituted M-type strontium hexaferrites for use in microwave LTCC technology

The La-Co substituted Sr1–xLaxFe12–xCoxO19 (x=0–0.5) ferrites with appropriate Bi2O3 additive were prepared by conventional sintering method and microwave sintering method at low sintering temperatures compatible with LTCC (low temperature co-fired ceramics) systems, and their sintering behavior was chiefly investigated, including the crystal structure, saturation magnetizationMs, magnetic anisotropy fieldHa, intrinsic coercivityHci, and Curie temperatureTC. Experiment results clearly showed that the pure M-type crystal phase was successfully obtained when the La-Co substitution amountx did not exceed 0.3. However, the single M-type phase structure transformed to multiphase structure with further increased x, where the M-type phase coexisted with the non-magnetic phase such asα-Fe2O3 phase, La2O3 phase, and LaCoO3 phase. Appropriate La-Co substitution improved theMs (>62 emu/g),Ha (>1400 kA/m), andHci (>320 kA/m) for the ferrites withx varying from 0.1 to 0.3, but theTC decreased with increasing substitution amount. More-over, the microwave sintered ferrites could provide largerHci and similarMs compared with the conventional sintered ferrites.

Linear prediction is a commonly used approach to preprocess microphone signals for estimation of time delays from an acoustic source to different microphones. A typical linear prediction algorithm employs the least squares criterion to solve an optimization problem. This criterion, however, is not optimal for non-Gaussian distributed speech signals. In this paper, we propose a sparse preprocessing algorithm to time delay estimation (TDE) from the perspective of linear prediction. Unlike the traditional 2-norm, we exploit 1-norm to construct an optimization function not only for the prediction residual vector but for the prediction coefficient vector. We propose to use an augmented Lagrangian alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) to solve the 1/1-norm based convex optimization problem. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated by numerical experiments. © 2017 IEEE.

The 3D reconstruction of medical images is a hot spot in medical research. It is a comprehensive application of computer graphics, image processing, computer vision and human-computer interaction. Firstly, in this paper used an improved adaptive weighted median filter algorithm for CT image processing, greatly reduces the amount of data processing, and improve the process effect of the speckle noise and environmental noise. Then the automatic threshold segmentation algorithm and the improved iterative algorithm are used to realize the multi threshold image segmentation. Finally used the marching cubes algorithm and equivalent plane method three dimensional reconstruction of CT image. In this paper through VTK (Visualization Toolkit) and VC++ software to achieve the CT images three-dimensional reconstruction and greatly improve the accuracy and accuracy of medical diagnosis.

Propagation and Mechanisms of the Quasi-Biweekly Oscillation over the Asian Summer Monsoon Region

The propagation and underlying mechanisms of the boreal summer quasi-biweekly oscillation（QBWO）over the entire Asian monsoon region are investigated,based on ECMWF Interim reanalysis（ERA-Interim）data,GPCP precipitation data,and an atmospheric general circulation model（AGCM）.Statistical analyses indicate that the QBWO over the Asian monsoon region derives its main origin from the equatorial western Pacific and moves northwestward to the Bay of Bengal and northern India,and then northward to the Tibetan Plateau（TP）area,with a baroclinic vertical *** propagation of the QBWO is promoted by three main mechanisms：barotropic vorticity,boundary moisture advection,and surface sensible heating（SSH）.It is dominated by the barotropic vorticity effect when the QBWO signals are situated to the south of 20°*** the propagation taking place farther north toward the TP,the boundary moisture advection and SSH are the leading *** use an AGCM to verify the importance of SSH on the northward propagation of the *** simulations confirm the diagnostic conclusion that the equatorial western Pacific is the source of the ***,the model can accurately simulate the propagation pathway of the QBWO signals over the Asian monsoon ***,sensitivity experiments demonstrate that the SSH over northern India and the southern slope of the TP greatly contributes to the northward propagation of the QBWO as far as the TP area.

Sonication-Assisted Synthesis of Molybdenum Disulfide Aerogel for the Electrode Materials of Supercapacitors

The sonication processing was added in front of the freeze-drying as an intermediate processing before the molybdenum disulfide (MoS 2 ) aerogel was synthesized. It is distinguishing with the traditional hydrothermal reaction to combine the sonication processing and freeze-drying in our method. The structure, morphology, specific surface area and pore size distribution were characterized, and the electrochemical performances were measured in 0.5 M Na 2 SO 4 electrolyte for the MoS 2 aerogel and flower-like MoS 2 . As for comparison, they are of porous structure and microsphere structure, and their specific surface areas are 55.14 m 2 g − 1 and 38.12 m 2 g − 1 . The specific capacitances are 166.7 F g − 1 and 119.2 F g − 1 at the scan rate of 5 mV s − 1 , and the capacity retentions are 87.7% and 81.6% after 3000 charge/discharge cycles. For the enhanced mechanism, the high specific surface of the MoS 2 aerogel causes high specific capacitance, and the unique porous structure could buffer volume expansion to improve retention ability during charge/discharge processes. The MoS 2 aerogel may thus be a promising electrode material for supercapacitors.
