This paper proposes an innovative decision support system based on sentiment analysis, specifically designed for the transportation sector. The system employs an aspect-based sentiment analysis approach, which accurately identifies and classifies customer opinions on key transportation service aspects such as comfort, driver behavior, punctuality, and vehicle condition. By integrating the BERT model, known for its advanced natural language processing capabilities, our system provides an in-depth and reliable analysis of customer sentiments. This analysis enables managers and decision-makers to better understand the strengths and weaknesses of the provided transportation services and to precisely target areas that require improvement. By offering actionable insights, our approach aims to enhance the user experience, improve service quality, and increase overall customer satisfaction. © 2024 IEEE.

Globalization, industry, and population growth is considered the main reasons for climate change, so when some natural calamity or disaster occurs in any area, it leads to isolating this area from the rest of the region. Wireless ad hoc networks are important in disaster management to reduce losses and costs as they reduce the response, aiding time to save lives. However, they suffer from limited energy, which controls the lifetime of the sensor. Different methods are applied to save energy and increase battery life, such as sleep-awake schedules which assume similar initial energy for all nodes. Domestic partition in a unit disk graph is the production of the maximum possible number of such disjoint dominants. However, it assumes different initial energy levels for all nodes, which is another problem. In this paper, a new broadcast approach based on minimum set data broadcasting is proposed to mini-mize the number of broadcasting messages to increase the battery life during disasters and enhance rescue operations. The proposed minimum rebroadcast algorithm (MSRA) method balances coverage and utilization efficiency by dynamically adjusting node selection based on network conditions. The results show that MSRA significantly reduces power consumption and transmission latency, opening the way to find a new solution for disaster management using wireless ad hoc networks. © 2024 by the authors of this article.

The development of Decision Support systems (DSS) for several companies operating in sectors such as tourism, healthcare, or others, presents significant challenges due to the nature of their multi-component architecture. A typical DSS consists of a data component, a model component incorporating machine learning and deep learning techniques, and a user interface component, each one requires diverse technologies. This complexity increases development time and effort, hindering the efficient design of DSS tailored to specific domains like tourism, where real-time decision-making is essential. One promising approach to overcome these challenges is the use of Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs). DSLs allow developers to model and generate code more efficiently by providing high-level abstractions suited to the domain. By leveraging DSLs, it is possible to simplify the design process and automate the generation of code or parts of the DSS, thereby reducing the overall complexity and time required for development. This paper proposes a metamodel for designing DSS, specifically for the Smart Tourism sector. The metamodel serves as a foundation for the creation of DSL. The goal is to provide a solution to facilitate the development of DSS for the demands of tourism. The paper outlines the key concepts, approach, and results, presenting the first element of the proposed DSL which is the metamodel capturing the essential components and relationships for DSS in Smart Tourism. © 2024 IEEE.

In the modern era of a growing population,it is arduous for humans to monitor every aspect of sports,events occurring around us,and scenarios or *** recognition of different types of sports and events has increasingly incorporated the use of machine learning and artificial *** research focuses on detecting and recognizing events in sequential photos characterized by several factors,including the size,location,and position of people’s body parts in those pictures,and the influence around those *** approaches utilized,here are feature descriptors such as MSER(Maximally Stable Extremal Regions),SIFT(Scale-Invariant Feature Transform),and DOF(degree of freedom)between the joint points are applied to the skeleton ***,for the same purposes,other features such as BRISK(Binary Robust Invariant Scalable Keypoints),ORB(Oriented FAST and Rotated BRIEF),and HOG(Histogram of Oriented Gradients)are applied on full body or *** integration of these techniques increases the discriminative nature of characteristics retrieved in the identification process of the event,hence improving the efficiency and reliability of the entire *** extracted features are passed to the early fusion and DBscan for feature fusion and *** deep belief,network is employed for *** results demonstrate a separate experiment’s detection average recognition rate of 87%in the HMDB51 video database and 89%in the YouTube database,showing a better perspective than the current methods in sports and event identification.

Automatic person identification (API) using human biometrics is essential and highly demanded compared to traditional API methods, where a person is automatically identified using his/her distinct characteristics including speech, fingerprint, iris, handwritten signatures, and others. The fusion of more than one human biometric produces bimodal and multimodal API systems that normally outperform single modality systems. This paper presents our work towards fusing speech and handwritten signatures for developing a bimodal API system, where fusion was conducted at the decision level due to the differences in the type and format of the features extracted. A data set is created that contains recordings of usernames and handwritten signatures of 100 persons (50 males and 50 females), where each person recorded his/her username 30 times and provided his/her handwritten signature 30 times. Consequently, a total of 3000 utterances and 3000 handwritten signatures were collected. The speech API used Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) technique for features extraction and Vector Quantization (VQ) for features training and classification. On the other hand, the handwritten signatures API used global features for reflecting the structure of the hand signature image such as image area, pure height, pure width and signature height and the Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) architecture of Artificial Neural Network for features training and classification. Once the best matches for both the speech and the handwritten signatures API are produced, the fusion process takes place at decision level. It computes the difference between the two best matches for each modality and selects the modality of the maximum difference. Based on our experimental results, the bimodal API obtained an average recognition rate of 96.40%, whereas the speech API and the handwritten signatures API obtained average recognition rates of 92.60% and 75.20%, respectively. Wireless Capsule Endoscopy (WCE) emerged as an innovative and patient-centric approach for non-invasive and painless examination of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. It serves as a pivotal tool in helping medical practitioners in the early detection of anomalies within the intricate domain of the human GI tract. The automated identification of aberrations assumes paramount significance, contributing not only to temporal efficiency but also to timely diagnosis. Within the realm of academic literature, a plethora of Artificial Intelligence (AI) methodologies have been proposed to effectuate the automatic classification, segmentation, and synthesis of anomalies inherent in WCE images. This scholarly endeavor undertakes a comprehensive and meticulous survey, elucidating the spectrum of anomaly classification, summarization, and detection techniques harnessed for computer-Aided Diagnosis (CAD) in the context of WCE images. The survey begins by delineating the methodologies underpinning WCE image classification and video processing. Subsequently, an exhaustive evaluation of techniques for analyzing WCE images is furnished, accompanied by an in-depth exploration of pertinent surveys, in addition to a judicious assessment of their merits and demerits. Furthermore, this study undertakes a rigorous evaluation of prevailing datasets utilized to benchmark the efficacy of various WCE techniques. The recent advancements in vision technology have had a significant impact on our ability to identify multiple objects and understand complex *** technologies,such as augmented reality-driven scene integration,robotic navigation,autonomous driving,and guided tour systems,heavily rely on this type of scene *** paper presents a novel segmentation approach based on the UNet network model,aimed at recognizing multiple objects within an *** methodology begins with the acquisition and preprocessing of the image,followed by segmentation using the fine-tuned UNet ***,we use an annotation tool to accurately label the segmented *** labeling,significant features are extracted from these segmented objects,encompassing KAZE(Accelerated Segmentation and Extraction)features,energy-based edge detection,frequency-based,and blob *** the classification stage,a convolution neural network(CNN)is *** comprehensive methodology demonstrates a robust framework for achieving accurate and efficient recognition of multiple objects in *** experimental results,which include complex object datasets like MSRC-v2 and PASCAL-VOC12,have been *** analyzing the experimental results,it was found that the PASCAL-VOC12 dataset achieved an accuracy rate of 95%,while the MSRC-v2 dataset achieved an accuracy of 89%.The evaluation performed on these diverse datasets highlights a notably impressive level of performance.

In this paper we propose an improved recipe recommendation system that employs image recognition of food ingredients. The system is currently a mobile application that performs image recognition on uploaded or camera-captured images and recommends recipes containing the recognized ingredients. We used the ResNet-V2 architecture to build a convolutional neural network model for image recognition, which was able to identify 33 different food ingredients with an accuracy rate of 89%. The recommendation system uses the identified ingredient labels, as well as user preferences and restrictions, to display a list of recipes containing the identified ingredients. This feature allows users to discover new and exciting recipes based on the ingredients they currently have at home, without having to worry about dietary restrictions or other preferences. Overall, our system provides a convenient and personalized way for users to discover and prepare delicious meals based on their unique needs and preferences. © 2023 IEEE.
