The exponential growth of data driven by the internet has necessitated effective extraction of insights, with big data and machine learning standing as pivotal tools. This paper aims to provide insights into the evolving landscape of machine learning and big data analytics through a comprehensive literature review. It seeks to underscore the key advancements and intersections between these domains and their transformative applications across industries. Specifically, the study will delve into the foundational theories that underpin machine learning algorithms, data collection and preprocessing techniques involved in big data analysis, and the prominent challenges associated with extracting insights from large and complex datasets. It will further explore major studies that exemplify the integration of machine learning methodologies and big data technologies for addressing real-world problems. The study will also examine visualization methods that facilitate comprehending insights gleaned from big data. The Google Play platform boasts a total of 2,597,819 applications. A pivotal gauge of an application's success rests on its practical utility in daily life, coupled with its demonstrated strong performance metrics. There are several performance metrics to evaluate the performance of an application, such as RAM usage, CPU utilization, and their impact on battery life. Additionally, it is crucial to consider the User Interface (UI) factor, which serves as the primary connection between users and applications. Beyond its role as a bridge between users and applications, the UI can also significantly affect the performance of an application, as rendering a UI often takes a considerable amount of time. Various approaches can be employed to enhance the rendering time of a UI, one of which involves the use of design patterns like Model-View-Controller (MVC) and Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM), which effectively separate the business logic from the UI layer. This research study compares the performance of these two design patterns in the context of UI rendering time. The findings of this study confirm that MVVM outperforms MVC significantly in rendering UI components more rapidly. This superiority is attributed to MVVM's inherent ability to isolate business logic, ultimately reducing rendering delays. Furthermore, MVVM's prominent data binding feature further strengthens its efficiency in terms of UI rendering time. © 2023 ACM.

Natural language processing (NLP) is a branch of artificial intelligence (Al) that enables computers to comprehend, generate, and manipulate human language. Natural language processing can interrogate the data with natural language text or voice. Abstractive Text Summarization is based on the Natural Language Processing technique that tries to provide new and more concise textual summaries for huge texts. Artificial intelligence and deep learning techniques are used in abstractive summarization to examine the text's essential information and create a new summary that conveys the content more concisely and accurately. This type of summary differs from normal extractive summarizing in that it can generate new summaries beyond simply extracting key lines from the source text. This study presents an abstractive Arabic summarization based on the Multilingual TS (MTS) model AASMTS to address these concerns. This technique is based on deep neural networks and models like transformers, which have changed the ability to summarize text. This research has explored the various types of summarizations and highlighted the significance of two prominent techniques: abstractive and extractive summarization. This research describes a complete process for developing an Arabic abstractive summarization model using the MTS architecture. Experiments on different datasets show that this model achieves state-of-the-art results across MTS. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper is presented implementation of a lightweight supervisory control and data acquisition system for remote test stations as a part of a larger test house in the automotive industry. It is necessary to allow remote set up and monitoring of the test stations, which means defining the structure of a system with numerous test stations as endpoints. The test stations are meant to be virtual machines but can be both virtual and physical machines. A communication protocol must be used that enables this within the organization's network, regardless of actual distance and location. The parameters of the test stations to be monitored can be defined according to the needs and purpose. Even when creating your own tool, this function is not unique, i.e. on one test station parameters of operating system resources such as memory usage can be monitored, while on another test station logged-in users or running programs, reported system errors and others must be monitored. Data storage is one of the mandatory functions of this system. This process allows viewing data throughout history and more detailed analysis of events. There are numerous benefits that can be drawn and used from the data stored in the database. It is necessary to pay attention to the data stored as well as the scope and retention throughout history. The correct and secure setup of a database is one of the prerequisites for any serious system that processes data. Appropriate views should be created for users involved in the data monitoring process using all the elements mentioned so far. Creating a visually acceptable and easy-To-use interface that serves the main purpose is the final presentation of the entire system to users. A complete system leads to higher productivity, profitability and better organization of the company. It also allows project managers to better plan the use and occupancy of test stations. Segmentation of brain tumors aids in diagnosing the disease early, planning treatment, and monitoring its progression in medical image analysis. Automation is necessary to eliminate the time and variability associated with traditional segmentation methods. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and U-Net architectures have demonstrated their efficiency and effectiveness in segmenting brain tumors from MRI images using deep learning techniques. The paper presents an improved U-Net-based segmentation algorithm that integrates nested skip paths to improve encoder-decoder feature fusion. The performance of segmentation was optimized by utilizing a variety of activation functions and loss functions, including Dice Loss and Intersection over Union (IoU). A high level of accuracy was demonstrated in the proposed model when it was evaluated using the LGG Segmentation Dataset. The proposed approach for segmenting medical images has been shown to be both robust and efficient in a comparative analysis. © 2025 The Authors

Selecting the most relevant subset of features from a dataset is a vital step in data mining and machine *** feature in a dataset has 2n possible subsets,making it challenging to select the optimum collection of features using typical *** a result,a new metaheuristicsbased feature selection method based on the dipper-throated and grey-wolf optimization(DTO-GW)algorithms has been developed in this *** can result when the selection of features is subject to metaheuristics,which can lead to a wide range of ***,we adopted hybrid optimization in our method of optimizing,which allowed us to better balance exploration and harvesting chores more *** propose utilizing the binary DTO-GW search approach we previously devised for selecting the optimal subset of *** the proposed method,the number of features selected is minimized,while classification accuracy is *** test the proposed method’s performance against eleven other state-of-theart approaches,eight datasets from the UCI repository were used,such as binary grey wolf search(bGWO),binary hybrid grey wolf,and particle swarm optimization(bGWO-PSO),bPSO,binary stochastic fractal search(bSFS),binary whale optimization algorithm(bWOA),binary modified grey wolf optimization(bMGWO),binary multiverse optimization(bMVO),binary bowerbird optimization(bSBO),binary hysteresis optimization(bHy),and binary hysteresis optimization(bHWO).The suggested method is superior 4532 CMC,2023,vol.74,no.2 and successful in handling the problem of feature selection,according to the results of the experiments.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a form of Internet-based distributed computing that allows devices and their services to interact and execute tasks for each other. Consequently, the footprint of the IoT is increasing and becoming more complex to the highest degree. This has also given birth to new IoT-enabled applications and services. Efficient service interaction and management also call for understanding and analyzing the nature of IoT services. Further, IoT services must be characterized into various classes, and different service-related attributes must be considered for the classification. This article assesses the requirements of heterogeneous IoT services by examining their interactions. Principally, heterogeneous IoT and their service interactions are targeted. The research work performs classification of IoT services into various classes. Services are classified on the basis of various attributes. The attributes reflect different characteristics of the services. This research enables improved utilization of IoT services through efficient classification of available resources using machine learning methods. To demonstrate service classification applicability, the SVM, voting classifier, and decision tree have been applied in a service-oriented environment along with different types of services. All the services in the data set were analyzed and divided into five classes. Moreover, the decision tree performed well and achieved higher accuracy values in all classes. However, the overall prediction and classification of the decision tree model were observed to be good and satisfactorily high. © 2013 IEEE.

Internet of Things, edge computing devices, the widespread use of artificial intelligence and machine learning applications, and the extensive adoption of cloud computing pose significant challenges to maintaining fault tolerance in distributed systems. As the volume and complexity of systems continue to grow, the probability of system failures also grows, leading to downtime and poor performance. Fault tolerance is pivotal in modern computing systems by preventing downtime and service disruptions, even during failures. However, adopting fault tolerance comes with additional resource consumption, such as memory, CPU, disk, and network bandwidth usage, impacting system performance. Balancing fault tolerance with system performance is crucial to optimize resource utilization while minimizing the costs associated with detecting and recovering from faults. This paper introduces a node-to-node fault tolerance coordination mechanism for distributed systems to facilitate the tradeoff between fault tolerance and the cost of performance penalties and resource consumption. The proposed mechanism is preliminarily implemented on HDFS cluster. Our proposal enables opportunities to minimize the cost of the fault tolerance impact on performance and resource usage compared to the existing fault tolerance coordination mechanism. © 2023 IEEE.
