This research-to-practice WIP paper describes concept maps for computer organization. A concept map is a tool that can be used to describe the relationship between the topics (or concepts) in a specific field of study. Concept maps are used in a variety of applications to improve curricula and assessment, particularly in K12 and undergraduate STEM education. In this paper we use concept maps for modeling computer organization topics and assess their importance with respect to the depth and breadth levels required for computerscience and engineering graduates. The proposed concept maps focus on two aspects: The first one is the idea of the centrality of the topics. Centrality is an important concept in graph theory. Each topic in the concept map is given a level of centrality or a centrality index. The second aspect is the relationship between the topics, particularly between the topics with high level of centrality. The objective of the modeling is to identify the most central topics and come up with a set of more standard learning outcomes for undergraduate level computer organization courses.

This paper proposes a novel radiation-hardened high-reliability SRAM cell, namely SHRCO, with 12 transistors for robust value storage as well as 6 transistors for parallel access operations. Using separated and error-interceptive feedback paths, the proposed cell has a complete self-recoverability from single-node upset (SNUs) at all single nodes and an excellent self-recoverability from double-node upsets (DNUs) at a part of node pairs. In addition, the proposed cell has superior access operation speed due to the inclusion of extra parallel access transistors. Simulation results show that the proposed cell has the largest number of node pairs that can self-recover from DNUs. Moreover, compared to the existing radiation-hardened SRAM cells, the proposed cell saves 28% of read time and 3% of write time on average.

The Metaverse is defined as a collectively shared, persistent, and contextualized virtual space that will drive next-generation digital interaction facilitated by enhanced extended reality (XR) and edge computing. One of the major challenges within this development area is the proper anticipation and fulfillment of user context needs, preferences, and intentions in real-time. This paper proposes the concept of Predictive User Experience through AI for a turn to solve this challenge. With enabled predictive analytics, machine learning, and real-time data processing, the proposed AI-based predictive UX model dynamically adjusts metaverse interface features, content delivery, and modes of interaction to enhance immersion, all while maximizing user satisfaction. In this paper, we discuss AI's potential for explanatory mechanics in predictive UX and how it shapes the future of metaverse interactions. We propose a conceptual framework that describes how data collection, data processing, and adaptive interface design can be integrated within a feedback-driven architecture that seamlessly predicts and adjusts to user requirements. In this paper, we present a research methodology that integrates qualitative and technical approaches-from data modeling and architecture design up to scenario-based assessments-to validate our UX framework's predictiveness. Hence, we proceed with a use case that exemplifies the applicability of AI-based predictive UX systems for ensuring user presence and interaction consistency within a metaverse educational scenario. The discussion synthesizes and finally concludes the most pertinent findings relevant to user engagement and personalization regarding privacy and ethical considerations without compromising how these technologies can be safely and effectively scaled.
