DPT‐tracker:Dual pooling transformer for efficient visual tracking

Transformer tracking always takes paired template and search images as encoder input and conduct feature extraction and target‐search feature correlation by self and/or cross attention operations,thus the model complexity will grow quadratically with the number of input *** alleviate the burden of this tracking paradigm and facilitate practical deployment of Transformer‐based trackers,we propose a dual pooling transformer tracking framework,dubbed as DPT,which consists of three components:a simple yet efficient spatiotemporal attention model(SAM),a mutual correlation pooling Trans-former(MCPT)and a multiscale aggregation pooling Transformer(MAPT).SAM is designed to gracefully aggregates temporal dynamics and spatial appearance information of multi‐frame templates along space‐time *** aims to capture multi‐scale pooled and correlated contextual features,which is followed by MAPT that aggregates multi‐scale features into a unified feature representation for tracking *** tracker achieves AUC score of 69.5 on LaSOT and precision score of 82.8 on Track-ingNet while maintaining a shorter sequence length of attention tokens,fewer parameters and FLOPs compared to existing state‐of‐the‐art(SOTA)Transformer tracking *** experiments demonstrate that DPT tracker yields a strong real‐time tracking baseline with a good trade‐off between tracking performance and inference efficiency.

With the extensive penetration of distributed renewable energy and self-interested prosumers,the emerging power market tends to enable user autonomy by bottom-up control and distributed *** paper is devoted to solving the specific problems of distributed energy management and autonomous bidding and peer-to-peer(P2P)energy sharing among prosumers.A novel cloud-edge-based We-Market is presented,where the prosumers,as edge nodes with independent control,balance the electricity cost and thermal comfort by formulating a dynamic household energy management system(HEMS).Meanwhile,the autonomous bidding is initiated by prosumers via the modified Stone-Geary utility *** the cloud center,a distributed convergence bidding(CB)algorithm based on consistency criterion is developed,which promotes faster and fairer bidding through the interactive iteration with the edge ***,the proposed scheme is built on top of the commercial cloud platform with sufficiently secure and scalable computing *** results show the effectiveness and practicability of the proposed We-Market,which achieves 15%cost reduction with shorter running *** analysis indicates better scalability,which is more suitable for largerscale We-Market implementation.

Various techniques have been developed for the identification of different types of requirements like interview, questionnaire, group elicitation techniques, attributed goal-oriented requirements analysis, fuzzy based goal-oriented requirements analysis method, non-functional requirements framework, etc. Based on the critical analysis of requirements elicitation methods, we found that single elicitation technique is not suitable to understand the need of the stakeholders. In real life applications, multiple elicitation techniques are required to elicit and select the requirements of an information system because each technique has its strength and limitations. Therefore, to address this issue, this paper presents a mathematical model for the selection of requirements elicitation techniques so that complete set of requirements along with its priority can be identified before the development of an information system. The institute examination system is considered to show the applicability of the proposed mathematical model. © 2024 IEEE.

Classification of Unbalanced Data Based on Bayesian Optimal Neural Network Model

Aiming at the unbalanced problem of big data classification, this paper proposes a classification method of unbalanced data on the ground of Bayesian optimal neural network model. The method firstly uses Optimized Graph Convolutional Network (OGCN) network to carry out message passing mechanism in data graph, designs neural network model with self-attention pooling and mean maximization pooling, and then uses Bayes optimization to update the posterior probability of optimization function by constantly updating the probability model and evaluating the objective function. Effectively solve the problem of speed and optimal solution of hyperparameter optimization in the neural network model. Secondly, the model is used for data set training to obtain the weight of the entire network. Secondly, the unbalanced data is mixed sampling to reduce the number of negative samples. Finally, the capability of the model was verified on the CiteSeer dataset. Experimental results showed that the accuracy rate, accuracy rate and recall rate of the proposed algorithm were 0.974, 0.982 and 0.973, respectively, which effectively improved the accuracy rate, accuracy rate and recall rate of unbalanced data classification compared with other algorithms. © 2024, Taiwan Ubiquitous information CO LTD. The development of the industrial Internet of Things and smart grid networks has emphasized the importance of secure smart grid communication for the future of electric power transmission. However, the current deployment of smart meters and wireless communication methods presents several security concerns that must be addressed to ensure sustainable and resilient smart grid networks for Industry 5.0, with a focus on consumer-centric technologies. In this context, we propose a privacy-focused authentication solution for secure consumer-centric demand response management in smart grid networks, incorporating consumer electronics. Our proposed protocol utilizes blockchain-based authentication to enhance resistance against potential attacks and ensure the integrity of demand response data. Additionally, we have incorporated a PUF to prevent physical attacks. We have conducted informal and formal security analyses to verify the effectiveness of our proposed protocol against various threats and to confirm the session key security. Our comparison study has demonstrated that our protocol provides superior security and added functionalities, with lower computation and communication costs compared to similar protocols. Furthermore, we have measured the computational time for implementing the blockchain component of our protocol while considering the impact of varying numbers of block additions and transactions per block. © 1975-2011 IEEE.

Next-Generation Crowdsensing Networks (NGCNs) have become increasingly critical for smart cities, where data privacy and quality are pivotal concerns. Traditional trust mechanisms in crowdsensing mainly rely on static trust models, which are insufficient for dynamic security requirements. Zero-Trust security represents a promising opportunity, yet coming with notable challenges in NGCNs, including Unknown Workers Online Recruitment (UWOR), information Elicitation Without Verification (IEWV), Privacy Preserving Data Evaluation (PPDE), and Dynamic Trust Abrupt Shift (DTAS). To address these challenges, we propose a Credibility-aware and Privacy-preserving Data collection scheme with Zero-trust (CPDZ) for secure and quality data collection in NGCNs. First, our CPDZ scheme encompasses a quality worker recruitment strategy with combinatorial multi-armed bandit models, utilizing Thompson Sampling for the secure and efficient resolution of the UWOR. Second, an active dispatching scheme for unmanned aerial vehicles is crafted to collect data as a gold standard to assist in overcoming the IEWV challenge. Third, as for the PPDE challenge, we propose a lightweight privacy-preserving scheme for dependable truth discovery and secure trust verification. Fourth, the DTAS challenge is managed by a dual verification scheme that integrates short-term and long-term trust assessments, ensuring stability and adaptability of the zero-trust security in our CPDZ scheme. Experiments confirm the superiority of our CPDZ scheme, showing a 12.5% increase in recruitment revenue and a 57.8% reduction in relative error compared to existing approaches. © 1983-2012 IEEE.

With the advancement of artificial intelligence technology, intelligent applications have permeated all aspects of human life, including automatic driving, intelligent security, and face recognition. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are essential models for AI, but their complexity increases with more available data. The complex models are unsuitable for edge devices like wearables and smartphones due to high memory and computational requirements. In this paper, the compact model is achieved by pruning some redundant output channels. To effectively measure the validity of the output channels, this paper proposes a channel pruning algorithm based on gradient integration, which combines the gradient of the channel with the model output and the channel's values. This pruning could destroy model accuracy, so knowledge distillation is introduced during fine-tuning to leverage the original model's reasoning ability. Experiments show that our approach improves accuracy by 0.51% while reducing parameters by 30.1% and FLOPs by 26% in the VGG16 model. © 2024 IEEE.

In wireless sensors networks, integrating localization and communication technique is crucial for efficient spectrum and hardware utilizations. In this article, we present a novel framework of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-aided localization and communication for ground node (GN), where the average spectral efficiency (SE) is used to reveal the intricate relationship among the frame structure, channel estimation error, and localization accuracy. In particular, we first derive the lower bounds for channel estimation error and the 3-D location prediction error, respectively. Leveraging these comprehensive analysis, we formulate a problem to maximize the average SE in the UAV-GN communication, where the frame structure, beamwidth, and power allocation can be jointly optimized. Subsequently, we propose an efficient iterative algorithm to address this nonconvex problem with closed-form expressions for beamwidth design and power allocation. Numerical results demonstrate that the performance of our proposed method can approach the upper bound with low complexity, and achieve over 70% performance gain compared with communication-only benchmarks. In addition, the analysis highlights the dominated impacts of the Doppler effect on the average SE. © 2024 IEEE.
