The expansion of Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems (ICPS) has introduced new challenges in security and privacy, highlighting a research gap in effective anomaly detection while preserving data confidentiality. In the ICPS landscape, where vast amounts of sensitive industrial data are exchanged, ensuring privacy is not just a regulatory compliance issue but a critical shield against industrial espionage and cyber threats. Existing solutions often compromise data privacy for enhanced security, leaving a significant void in protecting sensitive information within ICPS networks. Addressing this, our research presents the IP2FL model, an Interpretation-based Privacy-Preserving Federated Learning approach tailored for ICPS. This model combines Additive Homomorphic Encryption (AHE) for privacy with advanced feature selection methods and Shapley Values (SV) for enhanced explainability. The proposed solution mitigates privacy concerns in federated learning, where traditional methods fall short due to computational constraints and lack of interpretability. By integrating AHE, the IP2FL model minimizes computational overhead and ensures data privacy. Our dual feature selection approach optimizes system performance while incorporating SV to provide critical insights into model decisions, advancing the field towards more transparent and understandable AI systems in ICPS. The validation of our model using ICPS-specific datasets demonstrates its effectiveness and potential for practical applications. © 2023 IEEE.

The development of population intelligence has shown a great trend of a linear surge in recent years, and a large number of intelligent algorithms inspired by biology have been studied. Among them, differential evolution (DE) algorithms have attracted the attention of many researchers because of their simplicity, high efficiency, powerful search capability, etc. DE has strong exploitability and can approach the global optimum faster, but it cannot avoid the phenomenon of search stagnation and premature convergence. To address the drawbacks of DE, the two-stage bootstrap constrained differential evolution algorithm (TSGCDE) is proposed in this paper. In TSGCDE, instead of the traditional one population, the population is divided into two as a way to increase the diversity of the population. Divided into two stages, each stage searches for optimal solutions in different directions in different populations, and the optimal solutions and the bootstrap solutions generated by the populations in the two stages are bounded by each other’s bootstrap, which makes the DE have a more powerful optimal-seeking ability and easier to jump out of the local optimum. To validate the performance of TSGCDE, we conducted experiments on CEC2013 and CEC2014 benchmarks with some well-known algorithm variants, and the experimental results show that our proposed algorithm is competitive. © 2023, Taiwan Ubiquitous Information CO LTD. In this paper, we address the problem of automatic clothing parsing in surveillance images using the information from user-generated tags, such as "jeans" and "T-shirt." Although clothing parsing has achieved great success in the fashion domain, it is quite challenging to parse target under practical surveillance conditions due to the presence of complex environmental interference, such as that from low resolution, viewpoint variations and lighting changes. Our method is developed to capture target information from the fashion domain and apply this information to a surveillance domain by weakly supervised transfer learning. Most target tags convey strong location information (e.g., "T-shirt" is always shown in the upper region), which can be used as weak labels for our transfer method. Both quantitative and qualitative experiments conducted on practical surveillance datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed surveillance data enhancing method. © 2020, Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature.

The rapid development of Internet technology derived out a massive network text data. Therefore, how to classify the massive text data efficiently has important theoretical significance and application value. In order to acquire accurate classification results, the process has been divided into two parts. In terms of text representation, this paper proposes an online field feature selection algorithm (OFFS algorithm) based on streaming data, which solves the problems of low efficiency and memory consumption of traditional feature selection algorithms. With improvements in the vector space model, the new algorithm can select the real-time feature of the data and quickly generate text vector. In the aspect of classifier design, an OFFS-BP neural network text classifier based on BP neutral network and OFFS algorithm is designed. It adapts to the distributed parallel computing, reduces the training time and balances the computation efficiency and classification accuracy. Finally based on the Spark platform, the OFFS-BP neural network classifier is implemented. The experimental results show that the OFFS-BP neural network classifier is more suitable for big data environment with less computation time and higher classification efficiency. © Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2018.

High-efficiency and low-cost knowledge sharing can improve the decision-making ability of autonomous vehicles by mining knowledge from the Internet of Vehicles(IoVs).However,it is challenging to ensure high efficiency of local data learning models while preventing privacy leakage in a high mobility *** order to protect data privacy and improve data learning efficiency in knowledge sharing,we propose an asynchronous federated broad learning(FBL)framework that integrates broad learning(BL)into federated learning(FL).In FBL,we design a broad fully connected model(BFCM)as a local model for training client *** enhance the wireless channel quality for knowledge sharing and reduce the communication and computation cost of participating clients,we construct a joint resource allocation and reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)configuration optimization framework for *** problem is decoupled into two convex *** to improve the resource scheduling efficiency in FBL,a double Davidon–Fletcher–Powell(DDFP)algorithm is presented to solve the time slot allocation and RIS configuration *** on the results of resource scheduling,we design a reward-allocation algorithm based on federated incentive learning(FIL)in FBL to compensate clients for their *** simulation results show that the proposed FBL framework achieves better performance than the comparison models in terms of efficiency,accuracy,and cost for knowledge sharing in the IoV.

The digital twin(DT)is envisaged as a catalyst for pioneering ecosystems of service provision within an immersive environment born from the convergence of virtual and physical ***,DT could enhance the performance of edge-intelligent connected vehicular networks by allocating network resources efficiently based on the key performance indicators(KPIs)of vehicular data ***,this work addresses the key challenge of computation and spectrum resource allocation for vehicular *** allocate the optimal resource allocation,we subdivided the problem into:traffic classification,collective learning,and resource allocation *** order to do so,this paper concentrates on two crucial vehicular applications:brake application and lane-change *** utilize a random forest model to collectively learn vehicular data traffic in the upcoming time ***,a time-ahead resource allocation algorithm is proposed to improve the quality of service(QoS)by intelligently offloading vehicular data traffic to a DT-based integrated fiber-wireless(Fi-Wi)connected vehicular *** evaluate the performance of the resource allocation strategy in terms of resources required by the network alongside the packet loss *** was observed that there was a 44.74%increase in cost as the total computation resources increased from F=50 to 100 GHz,whereas the PLR of the network decreased by 71.43%.

In order to promote the evaluation performance of deep learning infrared automatic target recognition (ATR) algorithms in the complex environment of air-to-air missile research, we proposed an analytic hierarchy process (AHP) evaluation system consisting of the target recognition ability, the generalization recognition ability, the anti-interference ability, the background suppression ability, and the cost metrics ability. According to detailed quantitative analysis and experimental results, we establish probability evaluation models and get their probability values. Compared with traditional evaluation systems, our proposed method implementation is showing high reliability. Similar superior performances are also achieved, such as quick, comprehensive, and scientific. Through the above research, the key technology of deep learning performance evaluation in automatic target recognition has been broken through, which provides some basis and guidance for the analysis of infrared imaging-guided weapon systems. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

This paper introduces a novel edge device architecture designed to optimize solar energy management systems. It integrates cutting-edge functionalities such as generation prediction, maintenance alerts, and anomaly detection into a unified framework. Through the utilization of edge computing, the system enables real-time analysis and decision-making at the network’s edge. Leveraging machine learning algorithms and predictive models, these edge devices provide highly accurate energy generation forecasts, facilitating efficient energy utilization and strategic planning. Additionally, the architecture incorporates anomaly detection techniques to proactively identify deviations from normal operation, minimizing downtime and enabling timely maintenance interventions. The seamless integration of these features within the edge devices significantly enhances the overall efficiency, reliability, and performance of energy monitoring systems.
