Genres are one of the key features that categorize music based on specific series of ***,the Arabic music content on the web is poorly defined into its genres,making the automatic classification of Arabic audio genres *** this reason,in this research,our objective is first to construct a well-annotated dataset of five of the most well-known Arabic music genres,which are:Eastern Takht,Rai,Muwashshah,the poem,and Mawwal,and finally present a comprehensive empirical comparison of deep Convolutional Neural Networks(CNNs)architectures on Arabic music genres *** this work,to utilize CNNs to develop a practical classification system,the audio data is transformed into a visual representation(spectrogram)using Short Time Fast Fourier Transformation(STFT),then several audio features are extracted using Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients(MFCC).Performance evaluation of classifiers is measured with the accuracy score,time to build,and Matthew’s correlation coefficient(MCC).The concluded results demonstrated that AlexNet is considered among the topperforming five CNNs classifiers studied:LeNet5,AlexNet,VGG,ResNet-50,and LSTM-CNN,with an overall accuracy of 96%.

Cell-free massive MIMO network is a promising solution to support 5G communication. However, as an ultra-dense network (UDN), it suffers from two major issues: power consumption and scalability, which hinders it to be widely used in practice. The increasing and time-varying user demand, the dynamic propagation environment, and the huge amount of access points (APs) make it a challenging task to address these issues. For this purpose, we propose a distributed solution to solve the access point activation (APA) problem in cell-free massive MIMO networks to reduce power consumption considering dynamic user demand. We leverage the user-centric characteristic and design a multi-agent deep reinforcement learning (MADRL) algorithm by which each AP independently decides whether it needs to be switched on or off. The simulation results show that the MADRL outperforms the centralized and the random strategies. This research demonstrates the ability of distributed learning in solving the APA problem in cell-free massive MIMO networks. © 2023 IEEE.

ChatGPT is a powerful chatbot that used to generate human-like text. Chat GPT, developed by OpenAI, can answer many questions honestly, like a personal teacher who knows almost everything. It can perform various tasks such as question and answer, solving mathematical equations, writing text, debugging, and translating between languages. Compared to traditional chatbots, ChatGPT has been adopted by many users since its introduction. Some users feel that ChatGPT will override most content creation professions. This study analyzed users’ feelings about ChatGPT by analyzing tweets shared about ChatGPT. For this purpose, a hybrid Deep Learning (DL) model was developed using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Bi- Long Short-Term Memory (Bi-LSTM) models. The study has been compared with a number of DL and Machine Learning algorithms, LSTM, Bi-LSTM, CNN, Gated Recurrent Unit, Random Forests and Support Vector Machines. The experimental outcomes demonstrated that, the FastText-trained CNN-Bi-LSTM model exceeded the other models in terms of accuracy, reaching 96.59%.

EEG emotion signal feature extraction is computationally intensive and the classification accuracy of the model is not high. Therefore, it can seriously affect the overall performance of classification algorithms. In order to better apply deep learning methods to EEG emotion recognition classification. To address the above problems, this paper uses the Fast Fourier Transformation algorithm to extract richer and more complete multi-channel feature information in feature extraction. At the same time, for the problem of low classification accuracy, an improved Bi-LSTM classification model is proposed. Finally, the model proposed in this paper is verified by 32-channel EEG signal data. The experimental results show that the classification method proposed improves the accuracy of Arousal to 93.35% and Valence to 93.09%. Compared with other models, the improved Bi-LSTM model has an excellent performance in EEG emotion recognition. Meanwhile, this paper explores the brain emotion mechanism by the accuracy of the improved model for different brain region channels, showing that the brain regions with the highest emotional relevance are the parietal and frontal lobes in the brain. © 2022 Taiwan Ubiquitous Information CO LTD. Forecasting stock market prices is a challenging task for traders, analysts, and engineers due to the myriad of variables influencing stock prices. However, the advent of artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) has significantly advanced stock market forecasting. AI's ability to analyze complex data sets allows for more informed predictions. Despite these advancements, stock price forecasting remains an area where AI has not yet achieved optimal results. In this paper, we forecast stock prices using 30 years of historical data from various national banks in India sourced from the National Stock Exchange. We employ advanced deep learning models, including multivariate multi-step Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), Facebook Prophet with LightGBM and Optuna, and Seasonal Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA). Additionally, we analyze news data from tweets and reliable sources like Business Standard and Reuters, recognizing their significant impact on stock price movements. © 2024 IEEE.

Noise attenuation and ridge processing technique for fingerprint bit minimization

This paper presents a model for the optimal reduction of the bit size of a fingerprint towards plummeting its storage requirement and raising the performance index of fingerprint-based applications. The model comprises of modules for fingerprint image noise attenuation, ridge contrast enhancement, map extraction, and filtering. The attenuation module uses grey value variance thresholding to suppress the noisy non-ridge and valley regions. The ridge contrast enhancement module uses block processing technique to establish equal ridge grey-level variations for the attenuated image. While the ridge map extraction module uses consistency level and locality orientation fields to extract the ridge map from the contrast enhanced image, the ridge filtering module uses Gaussian filter to cancel out all striking noise and contaminations. The experimental study of the model reveals its efficacy and practicality for fingerprint bit minimization, storage efficiency, and improved performance for any fingerprint-based application. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG part of Springer Nature 2021.

One essential natural resource, the air quality index has been deteriorated by economic activities. Many studies have been conducted about the forecasting of periods of unsafe atmospheric conditions;however, the majority of these studies are limited in their capacity to include seasonal and other factors due to insufficient longitudinal data. India noise pollution has compiled a 6-year dataset that has been used to build several prediction models. There are encouraging outcomes when AQI levels are predicted using machine learning methodologies such as support vector machines (SVMs) artificial neural networks (ANNs), and Naive Bayes (NB). However, in several tests involving datasets from three different locations, NB, ANN, and SVM performed well to maximize prediction performance. When it comes to mean absolute error (MAE), R-squared (R2), and Root-mean-square deviation (RMSE), the combined performance of stacks is unsurpassed. In the related work section, summarize the limitations of existing models, such as inadequate data preprocessing, low spatialtemporal resolution, limited feature selection, or overfitting in complex models. Highlight gaps in scalability, real-time adaptability, and generalization across regions, emphasizing the need for robust, efficient models tailored to air quality prediction. © 2024 IEEE.

Blockchain is a distributed ledger technique that guarantees the traceability of transactions. Blockchain is adopted in multiple domains like finance (e.g., cryptocurrency), healthcare, security, and supply chain. In the open-source software (OSS) portal GitHub, we observe a growing adoption of Blockchain-based solutions. Given the rapid emergence of Blockchain-based solutions in our daily life and the evolving cryptocurrency market, it is important to know the status quo, how developers generally interact in those repos, and how much freedom they have in applying code changes. We report an empirical study of 3,664 Blockchain software repositories from GitHub. We divide the Blockchain repositories into two categories: Tool (e.g., SDKs) and Applications (e.g., service/solutions developed using SDKs). The Application category is further divided into two sub-categories: Crypto and Non-Crypto applications. In all Blockchain repository categories, the contribution interactions on commits are the most common interaction type. We found that more organizations contributing to the Blockchain repos than individual users. The median numbers of internal and external users in tools are higher than the application repos. We observed a higher degree of collaboration (e.g., for maintenance efforts) among users in Blockchain tools than those in the application repos. Among the artifacts, issues have a greater number of interactions than commits and pull requests. Related to autonomy we found that less than half of total project contributions are autonomous. Our findings offer implications to Blockchain stakeholders, like developers to stay aware of OSS practices around Blockchain software. © 2022 ACM.
