ACbot:an IIoT platform for industrial robots

As the application of Industrial Robots(IRs)scales and related participants increase,the demands for intelligent Operation and Maintenance(O&M)and multi-tenant collaboration *** methods could no longer cover the requirements,while the Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)has been considered a promising ***,there’s a lack of IIoT platforms dedicated to IR O&M,including IR maintenance,process optimization,and knowledge *** this context,this paper puts forward the multi-tenant-oriented ACbot platform,which attempts to provide the first holistic IIoT-based solution for O&M of *** on an information model designed for the IR field,ACbot has implemented an application architecture with resource and microservice management across the cloud and multiple *** this basis,we develop four vital applications including real-time monitoring,health management,process optimization,and knowledge *** have deployed the ACbot platform in real-world scenarios that contain various participants,types of IRs,and *** date,ACbot has been accessed by 10 organizations and managed 60 industrial robots,demonstrating that the platform fulfills our ***,the application results also showcase its robustness,versatility,and adaptability for developing and hosting intelligent robot applications.

The Disease Prediction System revolutionizes healthcare with advanced machine learning techniques for early detection of skin diseases, notably focusing on skin cancer. Through image processing and Transfer Learning, it excels in identifying potential malignancies, enabling timely interventions. Its capabilities extend to benign tumors and growth disorders, utilizing the ResNet50 Model for precise identification. Additionally, it predicts skin reactions associated with various dermatological conditions, such as Urticaria Hives and Warts, leveraging the efficientnetB0 Model. Integration of the VGG16 Model enhances diagnostic accuracy for inflammatory skin conditions. This holistic approach prioritizes patient-centric care, leveraging diverse datasets and intricate pattern recognition in medical images. The system's proactive nature embodies personalized solutions for early detection, timely intervention, and improved patient outcomes. Its versatility and accuracy underscore itstransformative potential in healthcare delivery. This work presents a new version of the salp swarm optimizer (SSA), called "mSSA," that uses complex mathematical expressions to dynamically manipulate the crucial control parameter (c1) during optimization. These expressions are carefully designed to modulate the shift in search strategy from exploratory to exploitative, improving the flexibility and speed of convergence of the algorithm. To evaluate the performance of the developed mSSA variants, a thorough examination is carried out on twenty-three benchmark test functions alongside their application to the complex task of software module classification. The process of classifying defective software modules involves developing a multilayer perceptron (MLP) classifier that is suited to the particular complexity and heterogeneity of the task. Selecting the best optimizer is made easier by systematically evaluating the different mSSA versions as MLP classifier trainers. Based on metrics like classification accuracy, convergence speed, and avoidance of local minima, a comparative analysis in opposition to six previously published metaheuristic optimizers shows that mSSA3, when combined with the developed MLP classifier, outperforms both other mSSA variations and state-of-the-art metaheuristic optimizers in terms of overall performance. The excellent classification accuracy, swift convergence, and ability to avoid local minima of mSSA3 highlight its superiority and establish it as a cutting-edge method in the application of metaheuristic algorithms. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2024.

Cluster assignment is crucial for analyzing single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data, essential for studying cell diversity and biological functions at the single-cell level. Deep learning-based clustering methods have been extensively applied in scRNA-seq data analysis. However, current deep models frequently overlook the deep exploration of potential gene correlation, resulting in networks lacking guidance from gene correlation information when learning hidden layer features. This paper proposes an adaptive feedback fuzzy clustering method based on deep gene correlation mining(scDCMAC). The deep gene correlation mining network employs contrast learning to compute the contrast loss on two cell similarity matrices, constructed from denoised autoencoder hidden layer features and original input features, to uncover potential gene correlation. The adaptive feedback clustering network further denoises the hidden layer features using a self-attention mechanism, computes the affiliation matrix, and supervises the denoising autoencoder's dimensionality reduction using the affiliation matrix. Experiments on 13 real scRNA-seq datasets demonstrate that scDCMAC excels in clustering accuracy and stability, showing great potential in scRNA-seq sample analysis. © 2024 IEEE.

The rapid development of wireless communications have driven the need for careful optimization of network parameters to improve network performance and reduce operational cost. Traditional methods, however, struggle with the vast number of tunable parameters and lack scalability in diverse network scenarios. To address these challenges, this paper introduces an optimization-inspired bipartite graph neural network (Bi-GNN) approach for scalable network optimization. Our approach leverages the bipartite structure of network topologies, and incorporates a message-passing mechanism by unfolding the Zeroth-Order Block Coordinate Projected Gradient Descent (ZO-BCPGD) algorithm, which ensures not only high-performance optimization but also manageable computational demand. We demonstrate the permutation and dimensionality equivariance property of the Bi-GNN, which significantly enhances the model's generalizability across various network structures and sizes. Furthermore, we theoretically analyze the expressive power and generalization ability of the Bi-GNN, demonstrating its adeptness at complex network optimization tasks. The training process, parallel execution, and practical implementation techniques are also discussed to ensure the model's applicability in real-world scenarios. Numerical results verify that the Bi-GNN outperforms existing methods in both coverage ratios and computational cost. Furthermore, our approach exhibits robust scalability across various network scenarios, making it a versatile tool for optimizing a wide range of wireless networks. © 2002-2012 IEEE.

The COVID-19 pandemic has expedited the shift in education to online learning, which has exposed shortcomings in virtual learning environments' personalization and engagement. This research addresses these issues by developing a web application designed to enhance student engagement and learning efficiency. The system has gamified collaboration features, video chapter segmentation, and personalized video recommendation system. The methodology comprises models for generating chapter titles and for precise video transcription, and machine learning algorithms for tailored suggestions depending on user input. Interactive Questions and Answers modules and real-time synchronized video playback are included. The results demonstrate how the system's personalized content, interactive tests, and teamwork tools increase user engagement and comprehension. The efficacy of personalized material and real-time synchronization in enhancing learning results is discussed. This innovative approach offers a comprehensive solution to the challenges of online education, creating a more immersive and interactive learning experience. © 2024 IEEE.

Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are non-coding RNA molecules that play a significant role in cell regulation and disease occurrence. In recent years, the use of computational methods to predict circRNAs associated with diseases has become a research focus. However, these methods are often constrained by the noise interference and an insufficient exploration of the underlying information in known associations. Therefore, this paper proposes an information enhancement and arctangent rank approximation based method to predict potential circRNA-disease associations (IEARACDA). Firstly, information enhancement methods are used to make circRNA and disease similarity information more complete and to reduce the sparsity of known association. Subsequently, the arctangent rank approximation method is employed to mitigate the potential bias issues that may arise from the nuclear norm, and optimization is carried out using the inexact augmented Lagrange multiplier (IALM) method. Finally, potential associations are predicted through heterogeneous graph inference method. The experimental results demonstrate that IEARACDA exhibits superior performance compared to existing methods. Furthermore, case studies for hepatocellular carcinoma and lung cancer provide additional confirmation of the accuracy and practical significance of the model predictions. © 2024 IEEE.

This study discusses the development of a web application aimed at facilitating Sinhala document creation, with a specific emphasis on Sinhala voice-to-text conversion and the handling of Sinhala commands through vocal input. Leveraging machine learning techniques, including convolutional neural networks and Natural Language Processing, the application's core features were established. Extensive research was conducted to tailor the application's content to the needs of its primary users, ensuring maximum effectiveness. The user-friendly interfaces of the web application are designed for clarity, simplicity, and consistency. The primary objective of this research is to comprehensively analyze the implementation of Sinhala voice-to-text conversion and Sinhala command handling systems. These systems are primarily designed to benefit diverse users, including journalists, content writers, and differently abled individuals with verbal abilities, by enhancing the efficiency of creating Sinhala documents. Through a detailed exploration of the research methodology, this study offers insight into the development process of the web-based system. The outcomes of the linguistic model training, presented within the study, reveal achievements and advancements that address the limitations inherent in existing solutions. Key findings from this research demonstrate the successful functionality of the Sinhala voice-to-text converter and the efficacy of the Sinhala command handler. The voice-to-text conversion system achieved an impressive accuracy rate of over 80%, while the Sinhala command handler exhibited an accuracy of approximately 80%. Moreover, this research envisions potential applications that extend beyond document creation. The technology showcased in the web application holds promise for broader language-based applications, impacting education, accessibility, and communication across the native Sinhala-speaking community in Sri Lanka. The knowledge graph(KG) that represents structural relations among entities has become an increasingly important research field for knowledge-driven artificial intelligence. In this survey, a comprehensive review of KG and KG reasoning is provided. It introduces an overview of KGs, including representation, storage, and essential technologies. Specifically, it summarizes several types of knowledge reasoning approaches, including logic rules-based, representation-based, and neural network-based methods. Moreover, this paper analyzes the representation methods of knowledge hypergraphs. To effectively model hyper-relational data and improve the performance of knowledge reasoning, a three-layer knowledge hypergraph model is proposed. Finally, it analyzes the advantages of three-layer knowledge hypergraphs through reasoning and update algorithms which could facilitate future research.

This study investigates the development and application of a personalized, interactive virtual system to enhance dementia care and protect people with dementia. A significant challenge in providing care for individuals with dementia is the propensity to wander and become lost, which can lead to anxiety and distress for both the patient and the carers as well as safety concerns. The system combines cutting-edge emotion recognition technology and healthcare IOT technology to effectively identify and provide real-time solutions in response to users' emotional states. This initiative combines dementia care, educational support, and patient security to establish a comprehensive strategy for maintaining well-being and managing the disease in dementia patients. This project has experimentally designed a security system to enhance the safety of dementia patients, a Health Checker system aimed at maintaining their health stability, and a virtual assistant that offers guidance by identifying real-time emotions and providing activities to improve cognitive function and promote relaxation Given a vast amount of patient data, the AI model has been able to identify 98% of patients' illnesses early. security software successfully detected patients with 99% accuracy using GPS technology and machine learning algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.
