Driven by the rapid development of the Internet of Things,cloud computing and other emerging technologies,the connotation of cyberspace is constantly expanding and becoming the fifth dimension of human ***,security problems in cyberspace are becoming serious,and traditional defense measures(e.g.,firewall,intrusion detection systems,and security audits)often fall into a passive situation of being prone to attacks and difficult to take effect when responding to new types of network attacks with a higher and higher degree of coordination and *** constructing and implementing the diverse strategy of dynamic transformation,the configuration characteristics of systems are constantly changing,and the probability of vulnerability exposure is ***,the difficulty and cost of attack are increasing,which provides new ideas for reversing the asymmetric situation of defense and attack in ***,few related works systematically introduce dynamic defense mechanisms for cyber *** related concepts and development strategies of dynamic defense are rarely analyzed and *** bridge this gap,we conduct a comprehensive and concrete survey of recent research efforts on dynamic defense in cyber ***,we firstly introduce basic concepts and define dynamic defense in cyber ***,we review the architectures,enabling techniques and methods for moving target defense and mimic *** is followed by taxonomically summarizing the implementation and evaluation of dynamic ***,we discuss some open challenges and opportunities for dynamic defense in cyber security.

software testing is a critical phase due to misconceptions about ambiguities in the requirements during specification,which affect the testing ***,it is difficult to identify all faults in *** requirement changes continuously,it increases the irrelevancy and redundancy during *** to these challenges;fault detection capability decreases and there arises a need to improve the testing process,which is based on changes in requirements *** this research,we have developed a model to resolve testing challenges through requirement prioritization and prediction in an agile-based *** research objective is to identify the most relevant and meaningful requirements through semantic analysis for correct change *** compute the similarity of requirements through case-based reasoning,which predicted the requirements for reuse and restricted to error-based ***,the apriori algorithm mapped out requirement frequency to select relevant test cases based on frequently reused or not reused test cases to increase the fault detection ***,the proposed model was evaluated by conducting *** results showed that requirement redundancy and irrelevancy improved due to semantic analysis,which correctly predicted the requirements,increasing the fault detection rate and resulting in high user *** predicted requirements are mapped into test cases,increasing the fault detection rate after changes to achieve higher user ***,the model improves the redundancy and irrelevancy of requirements by more than 90%compared to other clustering methods and the analytical hierarchical process,achieving an 80%fault detection rate at an earlier ***,it provides guidelines for practitioners and researchers in the modern *** the future,we will provide the working prototype of this model for proof of concept.

Virtual reality is an emerging field in the whole *** problem faced by people today is that they are more indulged in indoor technology rather than outdoor ***,the proposed system introduces a fitness solution connecting virtual reality with a gaming interface so that an individual can play first-person *** system proposed in this paper is an efficient and cost-effective solution that can entertain people along with playing outdoor games such as badminton and cricket while sitting in the *** track the human movement,sensors Micro Processor Unit(MPU6050)are used that are connected with Bluetoothmodules andArduino responsible for sending the sensor data to the ***,the sensor data is sent to a machine learning model,which detects the game played by the *** detected game will be operated on human gestures.A publicly available dataset named IM-Sporting Behaviors is initially used,which utilizes triaxial accelerometers attached to the subject’s wrist,knee,and below neck regions to capture important aspects of human *** main objective is that the person is enjoying while playing the game and simultaneously is engaged in some kind of sporting *** proposed system uses artificial neural networks classifier giving an accuracy of 88.9%.The proposed system should apply to many systems such as construction,education,offices and the educational *** experimentation proved the validity of the proposed system.

Disjoint sampling is critical for rigorous and unbiased evaluation of state-of-the-art(SOTA)models e.g.,Attention Graph and Vision *** training,validation,and test sets overlap or share data,it introduces a bias that inflates performance metrics and prevents accurate assessment of a model’s true ability to generalize to new *** paper presents an innovative disjoint sampling approach for training SOTA models for the Hyperspectral Image Classification(HSIC).By separating training,validation,and test data without overlap,the proposed method facilitates a fairer evaluation of how well a model can classify pixels it was not exposed to during training or *** demonstrate the approach significantly improves a model’s generalization compared to alternatives that include training and validation data in test data(A trivial approach involves testing the model on the entire Hyperspectral dataset to generate the ground truth *** approach produces higher accuracy but ultimately results in low generalization performance).Disjoint sampling eliminates data leakage between sets and provides reliable metrics for benchmarking progress in *** sampling is critical for advancing SOTA models and their real-world application to large-scale land mapping with Hyperspectral ***,with the disjoint test set,the performance of the deep models achieves 96.36%accuracy on Indian Pines data,99.73%on Pavia University data,98.29%on University of Houston data,99.43%on Botswana data,and 99.88%on Salinas data.

One of the challenging problems with evolutionary computing algorithms is to maintain the balance between exploration and exploitation capability in order to search global optima.A novel convergence track based adaptive differential evolution(CTbADE)algorithm is presented in this research *** crossover rate and mutation probability parameters in a differential evolution algorithm have a significant role in searching global optima.A more diverse population improves the global searching capability and helps to escape from the local optima *** the convergence path over time helps enhance the searching speed of a differential evolution algorithm for varying *** adaptive powerful parameter-controlled sequences utilized learning period-based memory and following convergence track over time are introduced in this *** proposed algorithm will be helpful in maintaining the equilibrium between an algorithm’s exploration and exploitation capability.A comprehensive test suite of standard benchmark problems with different natures,i.e.,unimodal/multimodal and separable/non-separable,was used to test the convergence power of the proposed CTbADE *** results show the significant performance of the CTbADE algorithm in terms of average fitness,solution quality,and convergence speed when compared with standard differential evolution algorithms and a few other commonly used state-of-the-art algorithms,such as jDE,CoDE,and EPSDE *** algorithm will prove to be a significant addition to the literature in order to solve real time problems and to optimize computationalmodels with a high number of parameters to adjust during the problem-solving process.

The rise of smart cities is directly connected to the increasing use of vehicles. The growing vehicle utilization has driven the emergence of Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs), facilitating instant information exchange among vehicles. The system provides essential information regarding road conditions, traffic patterns, and more relevant data. VANETs encompass two fundamental categories of communication exchanges, namely Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I). V2I technology facilitates the integration of cars and transportation infrastructure, enabling effective communication between vehicles and infrastructure. Nevertheless, the potential of V2I communication has various security concerns arising from prevalent security threats. Current authentication techniques encounter challenges regarding complexity, security, and privacy considerations. We designed a hash-based lightweight and anonymous authentication scheme to address the aforementioned restrictions and enhance the effectiveness of authentication in V2I architecture. This scheme effectively combines identity, password, and bio-metric to enhance resistance against impersonation, denial of service, and privileged insider attacks. The devised scheme distinguishes itself by a comparative analysis and security proofs, highlighting its superior capability in guaranteeing secure authentication in V2I communication. The comprehensive security analysis conducted formally and informally showcases the robustness of the proposed solution against several threats. The performance evaluation results show that our scheme demonstrates a decrease in the computational cost of 51.40% approximately and a reduction in communication overhead of around 22.57%. These results establish the efficiency and scalability of the proposed scheme as a viable solution for V2I architecture. © 2000-2011 IEEE.

This study addresses the pressing need for computer systems to interpret digital media images with a level of sophistication comparable to human visual perception. By leveraging Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), we introduce two innovative architectures tailored to distinct datasets: the MNIST handwritten digit dataset and the Fashion MNIST dataset. Unlike traditional machine learning methods such as Support Vector Machines (SVM) and Random Forests, our customized CNN models remarkably enhance image attribute comprehension and recognition accuracy. Specifically, the model developed for the MNIST dataset achieved an unprecedented accuracy of 98.71% without any bias, while the Fashion MNIST model reached 91.39%, marking significant advancements over conventional algorithms without any bias. This research showcases the superior efficiency of CNNs in processing and understanding digital images. It underscores the potential of deep learning technologies in bridging the gap between computational systems and human-like visual recognition. Through meticulous experimentation and analysis, we illustrate how deep CNNs require less preparatory work than other image-processing algorithms, setting a new benchmark in computer vision. © 2024 IEEE.

With the advancement of artificial intelligence technology, intelligent applications have permeated all aspects of human life, including automatic driving, intelligent security, and face recognition. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are essential models for AI, but their complexity increases with more available data. The complex models are unsuitable for edge devices like wearables and smartphones due to high memory and computational requirements. In this paper, the compact model is achieved by pruning some redundant output channels. To effectively measure the validity of the output channels, this paper proposes a channel pruning algorithm based on gradient integration, which combines the gradient of the channel with the model output and the channel's values. This pruning could destroy model accuracy, so knowledge distillation is introduced during fine-tuning to leverage the original model's reasoning ability. Experiments show that our approach improves accuracy by 0.51% while reducing parameters by 30.1% and FLOPs by 26% in the VGG16 model. © 2024 IEEE.

A Neural Network Framework for Classifying Educational Content Aligned with Learning Outcomes

Rapid growth of digital educational content necessitates efficient and accurate methods for organizing and mapping resources to ensure well-alignment with targeted learning outcomes, academic standards, and competency frameworks. Traditional text classification approaches, including rule-based and classical machine learning techniques, often fail to address the semantic diversity and scalability demands of modern educational systems. This study investigates the application of neural networks for text classification to automate the mapping of educational content into predefined categories. Leveraging state-of-the-art architectures such as Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks, and transformers like BERT, we present an architecture of a systematic Classification of educational materials. We discuss the implications of this work for adaptive learning environments, emphasizing the potential of neural networks to enhance the efficiency and scalability of content mapping. This study contributes to the growing body of research in artificial intelligence for education and sets the stage for further exploration into multilingual and domain-specific content classification methods.
