The Wireless Sensor Network(WSN)is a network that is constructed in regions that are inaccessible to human *** widespread deployment of wireless micro sensors will make it possible to conduct accurate environmental monitoring for a use in both civil and military *** make use of these data to monitor and keep track of the physical data of the surrounding environment in order to ensure the sustainability of the *** data have to be picked up by the sensor,and then sent to the sink node where they may be *** nodes of the WSNs are powered by batteries,therefore they eventually run out of *** energy restriction has an effect on the network life span and environmental *** objective of this study is to further improve the Engroove Leach(EL)protocol’s energy efficiency so that the network can operate for a very long time while consuming the least amount of *** lifespan of WSNs is being extended often using clustering and routing *** Meta Inspired Hawks Fragment Optimization(MIHFO)system,which is based on passive clustering,is used in this study to do *** cluster head is chosen based on the nodes’residual energy,distance to neighbors,distance to base station,node degree,and node *** on distance,residual energy,and node degree,an algorithm known as Heuristic Wing Antfly Optimization(HWAFO)selects the optimum path between the cluster head and Base Station(BS).They examine the number of nodes that are active,their energy consumption,and the number of data packets that the BS *** overall experimentation is carried out under the MATLAB *** the analysis,it has been discovered that the suggested approach yields noticeably superior outcomes in terms of throughput,packet delivery and drop ratio,and average energy consumption.

Sentiment Analysis deals with consumer reviews available on blogs,discussion forums,E-commerce websites,andApp *** online reviews about products are also becoming essential for consumers and companies as *** rely on these reviews to make their decisions about products and companies are also very interested in these reviews to judge their products and *** reviews are also a very precious source of information for requirement *** companies and consumers are not very satisfied with the overall sentiment;they like fine-grained knowledge about consumer *** to this,many researchers have developed approaches for aspect-based sentiment *** existing approaches concentrate on explicit aspects to analyze the sentiment,and only a few studies rely on capturing implicit *** paper proposes a Keywords-Based Aspect Extraction method,which captures both explicit and implicit *** also captures opinion words and classifies the sentiment about each *** applied semantic similarity-basedWordNet and SentiWordNet lexicon to improve aspect *** used different collections of customer reviews for experiment purposes,consisting of eight datasets over seven *** compared our approach with other state-of-the-art approaches,including Rule Selection using Greedy Algorithm(RSG),Conditional Random Fields(CRF),Rule-based Extraction(RubE),and Double Propagation(DP).Our results have shown better performance than all of these approaches.

Design of a ML-based trust prediction model using intelligent TrustBoxes in challenged networks

Challenged networks (CNs) contain resource-constrained nodes deployed in regions where human intervention is difficult. Opportunistic networks (OppNets) are CNs with no predefined source-to-destination paths. Due to their inherent properties, CNs and OppNets are highly susceptible to black-hole (BH) attacks, resulting in degraded packet-delivery ratio. In this work, an ML-based trust prediction model (MLTPM) is proposed to identify potential BH nodes in OppNets. MLTPM uses a novel function to calculate the total-trust-value (TTV) of each node. Intelligent TrustBoxes are introduced in the network to identify possible BH nodes, using TTV, along with five more node-behaviour features. TrustBoxes reduce the computational overhead of the resource-constrained nodes. Three simulated scenarios are compared - no detection, non-ML-based detection, and MLTPM, each using epidemic, prophet, and spray-and-wait routing protocols. MLTPM performs best with spray-and-wait, exhibiting about 25.21% and 80% mean improvement in delivery-ratio and dropped-message numbers respectively, compared to non-ML-based detection. An overall 12.62% improvement in delivery-ratio and 26.7% improvement in dropped messages is observed using MLTPM, compared to the above-mentioned scenarios. © 2024 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

Amidst the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence technology, it is imperative to apply these technological developments to the realm of education to enhance information-based teaching methodologies. This article introduces a knowledge management framework that aims to visualize curriculum knowledge systems using knowledge graphs in the educational sector. Taking courses like Fundamentals of computer Systems as exemplars, the article demonstrates the techniques for constructing knowledge graphs. Additionally, SmartKG's ease of deployment and application allows students to construct their own visual knowledge graphs, fostering a deeper comprehension of knowledge and fostering the profound integration of AI and teaching. Through the analysis of the curriculum system and students' self-constructed knowledge graphs, the efficacy of utilizing knowledge graphs in learning has been validated, propelling the application and practice of intelligent classroom teaching. © 2024 IEEE.

The security of the wireless sensor network-Internet of Things(WSN-IoT)network is more challenging due to its randomness and self-organized *** detection is one of the key methodologies utilized to ensure the security of the *** intrusion detection mechanisms have issues such as higher misclassification rates,increased model complexity,insignificant feature extraction,increased training time,increased run time complexity,computation overhead,failure to identify new attacks,increased energy consumption,and a variety of other factors that limit the performance of the intrusion system *** this research a security framework for WSN-IoT,through a deep learning technique is introduced using Modified Fuzzy-Adaptive DenseNet(MF_AdaDenseNet)and is benchmarked with datasets like NSL-KDD,UNSWNB15,CIDDS-001,Edge IIoT,Bot *** this,the optimal feature selection using Capturing Dingo Optimization(CDO)is devised to acquire relevant features by removing redundant *** proposed MF_AdaDenseNet intrusion detection model offers significant benefits by utilizing optimal feature selection with the CDO *** results in enhanced Detection Capacity with minimal computation complexity,as well as a reduction in False Alarm Rate(FAR)due to the consideration of classification error in the fitness *** a result,the combined CDO-based feature selection and MF_AdaDenseNet intrusion detection mechanism outperform other state-of-the-art techniques,achieving maximal Detection Capacity,precision,recall,and F-Measure of 99.46%,99.54%,99.91%,and 99.68%,respectively,along with minimal FAR and Mean Absolute Error(MAE)of 0.9%and 0.11.

This study addresses the challenges of real-time data synchronization and big data processing in the construction of digital twin workshops under the background of intelligent manufacturing. A solution that integrates edge computing with deep learning technology is proposed. Through a multi-layered, modular framework structure, this solution achieves real-time synchronous mapping and interaction between physical workshops and virtual workshops, effectively improving production efficiency, reducing maintenance costs, and ensuring product quality. The edge computing layer in the research is responsible for preprocessing heterogeneous data from multiple sources and making rapid response decisions. Simultaneously, deep learning algorithms are employed to conduct in-depth analysis, forecasting, and optimization of the production process. Case studies demonstrate that this solution can significantly improve equipment utilization and optimize workpiece scheduling, validating its application value in actual manufacturing environments. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
