Acute lymphoblastic leukemia is a childhood cancer prevalent worldwide, which can prove fatal within weeks or months. However, current diagnosis models based on machine learning and deep learning methods fail to consider device noise (pixel-level perturbations) and rotation/translation (spatial-transformed perturbations), which can undermine the model's robustness. Adversarial training is a potential solution to this issue. This paper presents a hybrid perturbation adversarial training (HPAT) strategy that leverages two types of adversarial samples: pixel-level adversarial samples and spatial adversarial samples. This work generates these hybrid adversarial samples through Projected Gradient Descent (PGD) in couple with spatial transformation based on the Bayesian optimization (STBO) algorithm, respectively. This work introduced the Mixed Batch Normalization (MixBN) module to handle both adversarial samples and clean samples, alleviating the problem of clean accuracy degradation due to adversarial training. The proposed hybrid adversarial training strategy is tested on the public acute lymphoblastic leukemia dataset and found that it outperformed existing acute lymphoblastic cell classification models. MvSR-NAT: Multi-view Subset Regularization for Non-Autoregressive Machine Translation

Conditional masked language models (CMLM) have shown impressive progress in non-autoregressive machine translation (NAT). They learn the conditional translation model by predicting the random masked subset in the target sentence. Based on the CMLM framework, we introduce Multi-view Subset Regularization (MvSR), a novel regularization method to improve the performance of the NAT model. Specifically, MvSR consists of two parts: (1) shared mask consistency: we forward the same target with different mask strategies, and encourage the predictions of shared mask positions to be consistent with each other. (2) model consistency, we maintain an exponential moving average of the model weights, and enforce the predictions to be consistent between the average model and the online model. Without changing the CMLM-based architecture, our approach achieves remarkable performance on three public benchmarks with 0.7-1.15 BLEU gains over previous NAT models. And, we reduce the gap to the stronger Transformer baseline. IEEE

Currently, single-platform avionics system modeling often uses service-oriented modeling methods to describe service-oriented architecture (SOA). However, for the multi-platform avionics system, the traditional modeling method can not represent the heterogeneous resources uniformly;and the description method of the relationship between services and resources is lacking. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a modeling method based on architecture analysis and design language (AADL). The heterogeneous resource pool model is constructed by unified description of heterogeneous resources internally and externally. In addition, a service-oriented approach is used to match function servitization with resources. This method is used to model a multi-platform avionics system. The example shows that this method can abstract heterogeneous resources in the same way, support multiple types of resources, and describe the relationship between services and resources in the task scenario. © 2023 IEEE.

Learning behavior in legged robots presents a significant challenge due to its inherent instability and complex constraints. Recent research has proposed the use of a large language model (LLM) to generate reward functions in reinforcement learning, thereby replacing the need for manually designed rewards by experts. However, this approach, which relies on textual descriptions to define learning objectives, fails to achieve controllable and precise behavior learning with clear directionality. In this paper, we introduce a new video2reward method, which directly generates reward functions from videos depicting the behaviors to be mimicked and learned. Specifically, we first process videos containing the target behaviors, converting the motion information of individuals in the videos into keypoint trajectories represented as coordinates through a video2text transforming module. These trajectories are then fed into an LLM to generate the reward function, which in turn is used to train the policy. To enhance the quality of the reward function, we develop a video-assisted iterative reward refinement scheme that visually assesses the learned behaviors and provides textual feedback to the LLM. This feedback guides the LLM to continually refine the reward function, ultimately facilitating more efficient behavior learning. Experimental results on tasks involving bipedal and quadrupedal robot motion control demonstrate that our method surpasses the performance of state-of-the-art LLM-based reward generation methods by over 37.6% in terms of human normalized score. More importantly, by switching video inputs, we find our method can rapidly learn diverse motion behaviors such as walking and running. © 2024 The Authors.

With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technology, the development of intelligent manufacturing has become an inevitable trend. Utilizing AI technology to ensure the safe operation of factories is a crucial aspect of smart factories. In particular, research focused on fault diagnosis and remaining useful life (RUL) prediction models based on machine learning has garnered significant attention from both academia and industry. This paper explores RUL prediction models for complex equipment, introduces four representative models, and analyzes their performance using two benchmark datasets, C-MAPSS and N-CMAPSS. Finally, the paper discusses the future research and application trends of artificial intelligence technology in complex equipment operation and maintenance. © 2024 IEEE.

Segment Anything Model (SAM) has recently gained much attention for its outstanding generalization to unseen data and tasks. Despite its promising prospect, the vulnerabilities of SAM, especially to universal adversarial perturbation (UAP) have not been thoroughly investigated yet. In this paper, we propose DarkSAM, the first prompt-free universal attack framework against SAM, including a semantic decoupling-based spatial attack and a texture distortion-based frequency attack. We first divide the output of SAM into foreground and background. Then, we design a shadow target strategy to obtain the semantic blueprint of the image as the attack target. DarkSAM is dedicated to fooling SAM by extracting and destroying crucial object features from images in both spatial and frequency domains. In the spatial domain, we disrupt the semantics of both the foreground and background in the image to confuse SAM. In the frequency domain, we further enhance the attack effectiveness by distorting the high-frequency components (i.e., texture information) of the image. Consequently, with a single UAP, DarkSAM renders SAM incapable of segmenting objects across diverse images with varying prompts. Experimental results on four datasets for SAM and its two variant models demonstrate the powerful attack capability and transferability of DarkSAM. With the rapid development of Internet technology, network assets have become an indispensable part of modern society. Especially in the face of high-value network assets, the attacker is faced with paying a greater cost to study the network structure. Due to the unknown attacker and attack means, the attacker has an advantage in the attack and defense situation. The moving target defense technique can flexibly change the static characteristics of the network attack surface and increase the difficulty for the attacker to detect the network, thus achieving the purpose of enhancing network security. Based on this technique, this paper proposes a defense strategy based on node confidence. It puts forward stricter constraints on the differential selection of address/port hopping paths, dynamically selects the hopping objects according to the node's confidence, and implements the defense strategy of differential complexity. This further increases the network's uncertainty and the difficulty for the attacker to detect the network structure. The experimental results show that in the path differentiation comparison, the maximum improvement is about 18% compared to the Dynamic Random Route Hopping strategy. In the CPU load experiment, the CPU load rate is reduced by about 4.625% on average compared to the Double Address Hopping strategy. Moreover, for larger hopping period, the proposed strategy also performs well in terms of CPU load rate. The proposed strategy also exhibits good performance in terms of CPU load ratio for large hopping cycles. © 2023 IEEE.

This article introduces a novel method for predicting solar energy production using an affordable data logger and the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithm. The main goal of this research is to create a precise predictive model for solar energy output, addressing the critical need for accurate forecasting in the renewable energy industry. The study capitalizes on the accessibility and cost-efficiency of a low-cost data logger to collect detailed environmental and solar irradiance data. The ANN algorithm is utilized to analyze the collected dataset, providing a robust and effective approach for forecasting solar energy production. Extensive experiments demonstrate that the developed model achieves an impressive R2 score of 0.95, indicating a high degree of accuracy and reliability in predicting solar energy output.
