Reconstructing urban traffic dynamics in three dimensions is crucial for effective traffic management. However, current research often neglects the posture and shape reconstruction of vehicles within traffic scenes. This paper introduces GAPSR, an innovative method addressing the challenge of monocular 3D pose and shape reconstruction, with a focus on vehicle-related information. Utilizing graph networks, our approach extracts unstructured logical topological features to enhance the expressiveness of 2D features. Attention prediction modeling is then introduced, considering the correlation between detected objects and vehicle shapes, as well as the scene context and road environment. In summary, our proposed method advances monocular 3D pose and shape reconstruction, as evidenced by experiments demonstrating its effectiveness across diverse datasets. This work provides substantial support for future research in traffic scene understanding and autonomous driving. © 2023 ACM.

The extensive spread of DeepFake images on the internet has emerged as a significant challenge, with applications ranging from harmless entertainment to harmful acts like blackmail, misinformation, and spreading false propaganda. To tackle this issue, this paper introduces a sophisticated DeepFake detection model designed to identify and mitigate the increase of these deceptive images. The model architecture integrates an ensemble approach, combining the strengths of two pre-trained Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models - MobileNet and Xception - with a novel CNN architecture, the advanced CNN (ACNN). This rigorous validation process enabled the model to achieve a high accuracy rate of 97.89% in detecting DeepFakes. The successful implementation of this ensemble CNN approach demonstrates its effectiveness in distinguishing between real and fabricated imagery with high precision. This research makes a substantial contribution to the field of digital image forensics, offering a reliable tool for stakeholders across various sectors to identify and counteract the spread of DeepFake images online. © 2024 IEEE.

Hartmann wavefront sensor is applied widely in adaptive optics systems. Considering the real-time performance requirements and processing amount of Hartmann sensors in computing the centroids of points, this article proposes an FPGA-based real-time image processing and centroid extraction system. The system adopts FPGA as the core processor and uses the connected domain labeling algorithm and the gray centroid method to complete the centroid calculation. In addition, the calculation results are output simultaneously through multiple DAs to drive the device under test to achieve image wavefront restoration. At the same time, the image data is uploaded to the host computer in real-time through the Ethernet interface. The system has excellent performance in real-time image processing, image output quality, and system control stability. Experiments show that it is an efficient technical means of providing real-time wavefront processing measurement for the Hartmann sensor in various application scenarios, such as adaptive optical correction. © 2023 IEEE.

Most of the current existing style transfer methods are based on photographs or Western paintings. Due to the inherent differences between Chinese and Western paintings, direct application of existing algorithms cannot generate satisfactory style transfer results for Chinese ink paintings. Accordingly, I propose a new feedforward style transfer method [1], called inkStyle, which uses a draw Network to transfer global style patterns at low resolution and a higher resolution details Networks to modify local style patterns in a pyramidal manner based on the multi-level Laplacian filtering output of the content image. The experimental results show that the method in the paper performs better and produces better visual results. © 2023 SPIE.

Background: Recently, e-learning has become a very basic, integral part of technology-based learning. Wide trends are increasing day by day because of the demands and its usage based on working remotely due to highly penetrated mobile handheld devices and digital media. The smart campus infrastructure has played a vital role to its full extent towards Z millennium students in the 20th century. The teaching and learning accessibility depends on terms of various cost-based afforda-ble platforms, either with synchronous learning or asynchronous mode of learning. Methods: The current patent research explores the changeling leading to infrastructural reforms as per the need for digital media for e-learning during and after COVID-19 spreads. The perspectives in 2 forms of research study are: 1st working on infrastructural needs and demands for the smart campuses and online learning challenges and 2nd is working on platforms technology utilization for better accessible resources for all learners. This work studied different aspects during and after COVID-19, leading to the importance of uninterrupted internet access, phone, hardware and relia-bility, etc. In this work, the importance of gamification study and flipped classrooms for enhancing learner performance to highly engage them in learning environments focused research model on learner engagement on Gamified perceiving study with Smart PLS-SEM was investigated. Promoting sustainability in its entirety through knowledge transfer and contributions to address various challenges in the redesign of learners' syllabi to meet educational needs, emphasizing online learning to integrate various modes of learner platforms, personalized teaching and learn-ing, peer-to-peer communication for learner enhancement, and student engagement through gami-fication are studied. Maternal health is among the greatest challenges in the world, especially in rural areas as there lack medical practitioners, they do not have easily accessible publics clinics and transport is difficult. Therefore, high rates of maternal as well as infant morbidity and mortalities are recorded. This research utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) with machine learning algorithms to forecast and address maternal health hazards right at their onset stage. The current research utilizes the concept of AI along with many Machine Learning (ML) methods like the Ensemble Learning Model (ELM), Random Forest (RF), K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN), Decision-Tree (DT), XG-Boost (XGB), Cat Boost (CB), and Gradient Boosting (GB), along with Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) algorithm used for dealing with the problem class imbalance within the data set. SMOTE algorithm is utilized for the dataset balancing process. The handling system involves refining data preprocessing with the help of feature engineering and robust data cleaning which makes sure that anomalies do not erode the reliability of the predictive model. The existing methods [1] used RF (90%), DT (87%), XGB (85%), CB (86%), and GB (81%) algorithms and were compared with the accuracies of the proposed models like Logistic Regression (LR), Ensemble Learning Bagging (ELB), Ensemble Learning Stacking (ELS), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), and Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU). The existing methods used only imbalance dataset. The accuracies of the proposed models with using SMOTE algorithm (balanced dataset) are LR (61.33%), KNN (81%), ELB (92.33%), ELS (90.66%) CNN (40.67%), RNN (59.67%), LSTM (54%), GRU (56%) respectively. Among these methods, ELB achieved 92.33% of accuracy with using SMOTE algorithm using imbalanced dataset. Whereas the accuracies of the proposed models without using SMOTE algorithm (imbalanced dataset) are LR (66.09%), KNN (68.47%)

With the ever-rising risk of phishing attacks, which capitalize on vulnerable human behavior in the contemporary digital space, requires new cybersecurity methods. This literary work contributes to the solution by novel incorporation of three techniques: Support Vector Machine (SVM), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Random Forest (RF). Utilizing NLP for deep analysis of text in phishing e-mails, SVM for strong categorization and Random Forest's decision making by group helps in improving detection. This combination of language and pattern analysis along with group learning builds a fortified system. This approach differs from prior work on a variety of factors such as reliability, security, integrity, scalability, interpretability, transparency, and robustness. Thorough evaluation on a reliable dataset aimed to demonstrate the method's effectiveness, which resulted in 98.7 % of accuracy in detection. This majorly aims at showcasing the potential of ensemble techniques to combat against cyber-attacks like phishing for laying a strong foundation for a secure digital environment. © 2024 IEEE.

WebAssembly is an emerging secure instruction set architecture widely used in embedded applications. Despite its success, bugs in WebAssembly virtual machines can compromise safety. This paper presents the first empirical study of bugs in embedded WebAssembly virtual machines, examining four popular ones: Wasmer, Wasmtime, WAMR, and Wasm3. We qualitatively identify unique bugs, analyze their roots, fixes, and reproductions, and conduct a quantitative study on bug lifecycles, testing, and fixing. Key findings include a proposed bug taxonomy and significant variations in bug fixing times (16.72 to 98.24 days). We recommend a dual-focus approach for developers, addressing common issues and feature-specific challenges. Our insights aim to guide WebAssembly development, testing, and tool-building for improved system quality. © 2023 IEEE.

Human body segmentation is utilized in various applications as an intermediate step. This problem is best solved using supervised machine learning solutions, however, they require annotated data for training. Unfortunately, annotating data for segmentation is an extremely labor-intensive task. It could be improved by using semi-automatic segmentation algorithms, however, their accuracy tends to be low for complex scenes. The errors made by such algorithms can be manually corrected by a human. This process could be more efficient when automatic correction tools are added to the data processing pipeline. This research aims to improve the final semi-automatic segmentation accuracy by improving an existing random forest classifier for correcting point cloud segmentation based on metrics of recursive 2-Means split. We replace the K-Means clustering with a weighted K-Means clustering and optimize the weights. Experiments have revealed that the segmentation accuracy of 62.4% is improved to 66.1% with a weight ratio of 0.4. Since higher accuracy leads to less manual labor, this is a sought-after improvement that reduces the time to prepare datasets for human body segmentation. © 2023 Copyright for this paper by its authors. Citing comprehensively and appropriately has become a challenging task with the explosive growth of scientific publications. Current citation recommendation systems aim to recommend a list of scientific papers for a given text context or a draft paper. However, none of the existing work focuses on already included citations of full papers, which are imperfect and still have much room for improvement. In the scenario of peer reviewing, it is a common phenomenon that submissions are identified as missing vital citations by reviewers. This may lead to a negative impact on the credibility and validity of the research presented. To help improve citations of full papers, we first define a novel task of Recommending Missed Citations Identified by Reviewers (RMC) and construct a corresponding expert-labeled dataset called CitationR. We conduct an extensive evaluation of several state-of-the-art methods on CitationR. Furthermore, we propose a new framework RMCNet with an Attentive Reference Encoder module mining the relevance between papers, already-made citations, and missed citations. Empirical results prove that RMC is challenging, with the proposed architecture outperforming previous methods in all metrics.
