The rapid growth of immersive technologies in educational areas has increased research interest in analyzing the specific behavioral patterns of learners in immersive learning environments. Considering the fact that research on the technical affordances of immersive technologies and the pedagogical affordances of behavioral analysis remains fragmented, this study first contributes by developing a conceptual framework that amalgamates learning requirements, specification, evaluation, and iteration into an integrated model to identify learning benefits and potential hurdles of behavioral analysis in immersive learning environments. Then, a systematic review was conducted underpinning the proposed conceptual framework to retrieve valuable empirical evidence from the 40 eligible articles during the last decade. The review findings suggest that (1) there is an essential need to sufficiently prepare the salient pedagogical requirements to define the specific learning stage, envisage intended cognitive objectives, and specify an appropriate set of learning activities, when developing comprehensive plans on behavioral analysis in immersive learning environments. (2) Researchers could customize the unique immersive experimental implementation by considering factors from four dimensions: learner, pedagogy, context, and representation. (3) The behavioral patterns constructed in immersive learning environments vary by considering the influence of behavioral analysis techniques, research themes, and immersive technical features. (4) The use of behavioral analysis in immersive learning environments faces several challenges from technical, implementation, and data processing perspectives. This study also articulates critical research agenda that could drive future investigation on behavioral analysis in immersive learning environments. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. Recently, deep learning on 3D point cloud data has driven rapid development in the field of autonomous driving. However, processing 3D point clouds is a challenging task. Transformers are widely used in various fields of deep learning. In the community of 3D point clouds, Point Cloud Transformer(PCT, a transformer-based framework) also achieves excellent performance on 3D point cloud tasks. However, the well-known attention mechanism benefits performance improvement while it also leads to expensive computational costs. To alleviate the problem, we propose a novel structure named efficient Point Cloud Classification Network with Position Fusion(EPCP), which uses the strategy of fusing absolute coordinates-based features and relative position information instead of the attention mechanism. By fusing relative position information, our method ensures that the output features maintain different sensitivity to specific areas, which plays a similar role as the attention mechanism. To verify the effectiveness of our method, we conduct experiments on ModelNet40 and real-world ScanObjectNN datasets. Compared with PCT, our method maintains the same accuracy on ModelNet40 and improves by 5.5% on ScanObjectNN. At the same time, our method reduces the number of parameters by 91% and FLOPs by 50% compared to PCT on the ModelNet40 dataset. © 2022 IEEE.

Hydrogen and helium are known to play crucial roles in geological and astrophysical environments;however,they are inert toward each other across wide pressure-temperature（P-T） *** their prominent presence and influence on the formation and evolution of celestial bodies,it is of fundamental interest to explore the nature of interactions between hydrogen and *** an advanced crystal structure search method,we have identified a quaternary compound FeO2H2He stabilized in a wide range of P-T *** initio molecular dynamics simulations further reveal a novel superionic state of FeO2H2He hosting liquid-like diffusive hydrogen in the FeO2He sublattice,creating a conducive environment for H-He chemical association,at P-T conditions corresponding to the Earth's lowest mantle *** our surprise,this chemically facilitated coalescence of otherwise immiscible molecular species highlights a promising avenue for exploring this long-sought but hitherto unattainable state of *** finding raises strong prospects for exotic H-He mixtures inside Earth and possibly also in other astronomical bodies.

With technological improvements in the restaurant industry, competition is fierce, and a restaurant's success depends on providing excellent and luxury customer satisfaction. The food industry has had to continuously advance with technology in order to adequately satisfy the wants of people leading increasingly luxurious lives. While some restaurants still rely on manpower, the majority are eager to advance with technology in order to improve the standard of their offerings and enhance their customers' experiences. In order to optimize customer satisfaction and experience, this research project intends to investigate the potential of intelligence in the restaurant business. This research has explored intelligent systems such as digital self-service menus for ordering food, augmented reality (AR) visualization systems for customers, the observation of chefs in the kitchen, and the usage of robots to serve meals. This research paper analyzes the advantages of automating restaurant operations and how to do so to enhance customer satisfaction. Overall, this study has the potential to transform the restaurant industry and increase customer satisfaction.

Graph-Augmented Contrastive Clustering for Time Series Data

The recent emergence of time series contrastive clustering methods can be categorized into two classes. The first class uses contrastive learning for universal representations, which can be effective in various downstream tasks, but overlooks important categorical information and clustering objectives, leading to unsuitable models. The second class incorporates contrastive learning into clustering objectives but fails to fully explore potential connections and structures between time series data. To this end, we propose the "Time Series Graph-augmented Contrastive Clustering (TSGCC) method", a graph-augmented contrastive learning framework aiming to create cluster-friendly features and assignments by iteratively optimizing contrastive loss. The method uses a weighted KNN graph to build positive and negative sample pairs, projecting the instances into a feature space with the dimensionality number of clusters. Experimental results demonstrate that TSGCC outperforms 18 advanced time-series clustering methods on the 36 representatives out of the 128 UCR benchmarks, achieving the best clustering results on 12 datasets, with the highest average rank (3.22) of RI and the second-highest average rank (3.89) of NMI among 18 clustering methods. We further compared our method with recent approaches on the entire set of 128 UCR datasets, demonstrating our method's broad applicability and effectiveness. © 2024, The Authors. software testing is very important in software development to ensure its quality and reliability. As software systems have become more complex, the number of test cases has increased, which presents the challenge of executing all the tests in a limited time frame. Various test case prioritization techniques have been introduced to solve this problem. These methods aim to identify and implement the most critical tests first. In this paper, we propose an implementation of a dynamic test case prioritization strategy to improve software quality by increasing code coverage with special attention to edge case handling. Edge case test prioritization is a technique that improves test efficiency by selecting extreme case scenarios that can reveal critical bugs or unexpected behavior early in development, improving overall software reliability and dependability. In order to prioritize test cases, this paper presents a regression-based method that makes use of machine learning algorithms. The approach leverages previous performance data to optimize regression testing efficiency by examining variables like test time and execution status. Performance evaluations, when compared against industry standards and cutting-edge techniques, show how effective these algorithms are at correctly prioritizing test cases and identifying faults. This study offers simplified yet reliable solutions for regression testing optimization by shedding light on the efficacy of regression algorithms, such as Random Forest and decision trees. © 2024 IEEE.

Human emotions, psychology, and social well-being are all parts of mental health. It has an impact on how people feel, think, and act. It aids in figuring out how individuals act under pressure, interact with each other, and arrive at decisions. Every period of life, from childhood and adolescence to maturity, is vital for mental health. There are several elements that affect mental health issues, such as experiences with trauma or abuse in life, work-life stress, relationship difficulties, etc. Help is available for many of the mental health issues that are identified within a person. The proposed solution is implementing a friendly chatbot that is capable of capturing human emotional states (happy, angry, sad, etc.) and mental health states (depression, anxiety, stress, etc.) using human computer interaction and health record management. The proposed solution has been developed by considering both regular users and mental health practitioners. The user can communicate with the proposed assistant using text or voice to identify their emotions and mental health based on keywords, particular characteristics of voice and facial recognition used during the conversation. Once the mental health and emotion statuses are analyzed the electronic health records will be readily available on the blockchain as blockchain tokens, this could be shared with the practitioners securely.

Making the decision to purchase or invest in real estate can be a very crucial process due to its high financial risk. The purchasing decision of residential real estate properties can be even more decisive because, apart from the financial risk, the choice of a property can have a great impact on the future lifestyle of the buyer. When considering residential real estate, one major factor to be considered is the property location. This research sought to determine the applicability of modern technologies such as location intelligence and machine learning in the development of an e-commerce system that may assist users in making optimal residential real estate location decisions. Third-party web APIs were used to obtain location data, and as a result of the study, methodologies were defined to convert location data into meaningful insights by using statistical methods like weighted sum and the analytical hierarchy process. The functionalities in the proposed system have been designed, considering the roles of both buyers and sellers in the real estate business. In the proposed system, the location quality index framework provides overall insights on the location, the personalized insights and alternative locations are generated via the personal preference-based suitability analyzer and the price prediction system provides the current and future price fluctuations. The usefulness of image processing technologies and machine learning for making the sellers' journey easier on a real estate platform has also been assessed. © 2022 IEEE.

The automation of processes in greenhouses provides a significant advantage to the agricultural sector. Due to the rapid growth of the population, increasing demand for food and labor shortage make the autonomous monitoring and management of agricultural work more important. Capsicum is a largely consumed vegetable in South Asia, which can be efficiently grown in greenhouses. Although there are many capsicum farms, they lack quality and efficient production to match the increasing demand. This paper proposes a robotic system for use in capsicum greenhouses that can navigate and monitor the plants to identify diseases, track the yield, and take remediation actions. The robot navigates to each plant in the greenhouse autonomously by using the SLAM approach with the use of laser range sensor data. The 4 DoF robotic arm of the robot has a camera and a sprayer attached to its end to investigate plants and spray remedies to diseased plants. The robotic arm moves around the plant to capture the images to detect deceases and count the pods to estimate the yield. The sprayer of the robot sprays remedies precisely to targeted plants to control pests and diseases. The system was successfully implemented and tested with the proposed functions.
