The present work is based on a concept to improve the information exchange during off-site transport of batteries in the context of electromobility with different actors of the value chain using descriptive research design. The challenges regarding the exchange of information with corresponding actors such as the responsible authorities or safety institutions form the main research subject of this thesis. A measure of the European Commission for the electronic provision of transport information combined with the Shared Digital Twin of a battery by means of Battery Passport makes it possible to improve the error-prone current process, especially in the B2A sector. Hereby, synergy effects arise for different actors in terms of data availability, - integrity and - sovereignty through cloud-based provision of the transport information of batteries.

Services offer companies unique opportunities to expand their portfolio with customer-oriented solutions leading to competitive advantages due to their uniqueness. Nevertheless, companies struggle with the development and successful implementation of industrial services. The main reason for this lies in a lack of suitable development approaches and procedures for industrial services, which primarily originate from product development. Rapid prototyping (RP) aims to enhance service development (SD) by considering the need for highly iterative and fast development with simultaneous involvement of partners and customers. Against that backdrop, this paper explores use-cases, frameworks, and applications of RP to contribute to restructuring industrial SD. Utilizing a systematic literature review (SLR), RP approaches in the various disciplines of engineering are collected. After extracting important features and aggregated dimensions, the authors compare their findings to meta-theoretical foundations of Service-Dominant Logic (SDL) to give an outlook on future research on adapting RP in SD.

In the age of digitalization, data protection plays an important role. Data is created, modified and shared over the Internet between data owners and data users. A key issue in this context is the respect of data sovereignty. The International Data Spaces (IDS) Reference Architecture has been developed in order to preserve data sovereignty. In this regard, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, such as sensors, play an important role for providing data. However, an IoT device is not capable of being integrated directly into the IDS by default. We propose an approach to enable the IDS for vendor independent IoT devices, using an open interoperability standard for the IoT specified by the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC). This allows data owners to benefit from providing their own data while retaining control over it.

This paper presents a gray box model of a photovoltaic (PV) cell working under low illuminance artificial indoor lighting conditions. A mathematical model of PV cells with single and two diode configuration is used. Additionally a platform for the measurement of the PV cells within the indoor environment is presented. An optimization problem is formulated to tune the internal parameters of the mathematical models according to the collected data from measurement platform. Fluorescent and halogen lights are used as two common indoor lighting sources. The fine-tuned mathematical model with calculated parameters is implied to evaluate the performance of the gray box model compared to the measured data. Finally, to avoid using multiple models for different environmental conditions, regression techniques are used to generalize the model only based on the irradiance.
