An improved high-fidelity adaptive model for integrated inlet-engine-nozzle based on mechanismdata fusion

Nowadays,there has been an increasing focus on integrated flight propulsion control and the inlet-exhaust design for the aero-propulsion *** component-level models are inadequate due to installed performance deviations and mismatches between the real engine and the model,failing to meet the accuracy requirements of supersonic *** paper establishes a quasi-one-dimensional model for the inlet-exhaust system and conducts experimental ***,a mechanism-data fusion adaptive modeling scheme using an Extreme Learning Machine based on the Salp Swarm Algorithm(SSA-ELM)is *** study reveals the inlet model’s efficacy in reflecting installed performance,flow matching,and mitigating pressure distortion,while the nozzle model accurately predicts flow coefficients and thrust coefficients,and identifies various operational *** model’s output closely aligns with typical experimental *** combining offline optimization and online adaptive correction,the mechanismdata fusion adaptive model substantially reduces output errors during regular flights and varying levels of degradation,and effectively handles gradual degradation within a single flight ***,the mechanism-data fusion adaptive model holistically addresses total pressure errors within the inlet-exhaust system and normal shock location *** approach significantly curbs performance deviations in supersonic *** example,at Ma=2.0,the system error impressively drops from 34.17%to merely 6.54%,while errors for other flight conditions consistently stay below the 2.95%*** findings underscore the clear superiority of the proposed method.

Thrust estimation is a significant part of aeroengine thrust control *** traditional estimation methods are either low in accuracy or large in *** further improve the estimation effect,a thrust estimator based on Multi-layer Residual Temporal Convolutional Network(M-RTCN)is *** solve the problem of dead Rectified Linear Unit(ReLU),the proposed method uses the Gaussian Error Linear Unit(GELU)activation function instead of ReLU in residual *** the overall architecture of the multi-layer convolutional network is adjusted by using residual connections,so that the network thrust estimation effect and memory consumption are further ***,the comparison with seven other methods shows that the proposed method has the advantages of higher estimation accuracy and faster convergence ***,six neural network models are deployed in the embedded controller of the micro-turbojet *** Hardware-in-the-Loop(HIL)testing results demonstrate the superiority of M-RTCN in terms of estimation accuracy,memory occupation and running ***,an ignition verification is conducted to confirm the expected thrust estimation and real-time performance.

Cooperative decision-making algorithm with efficient convergence for UCAV formation in beyond-visual-range air combat based on multi-agent reinforcement learning

Highly intelligent Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle(UCAV)formation is expected to bring out strengths in Beyond-Visual-Range(BVR)air *** Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning(MARL)shows outstanding performance in cooperative decision-making,it is challenging for existing MARL algorithms to quickly converge to an optimal strategy for UCAV formation in BVR air combat where confrontation is complicated and reward is extremely sparse and *** to solve this problem,this paper proposes an Advantage Highlight Multi-Agent Proximal Policy Optimization(AHMAPPO)***,at every step,the AHMAPPO records the degree to which the best formation exceeds the average of formations in parallel environments and carries out additional advantage sampling according to ***,the sampling result is introduced into the updating process of the actor network to improve its optimization ***,the simulation results reveal that compared with some state-of-the-art MARL algorithms,the AHMAPPO can obtain a more excellent strategy utilizing fewer sample episodes in the UCAV formation BVR air combat simulation environment built in this paper,which can reflect the critical features of BVR air *** AHMAPPO can significantly increase the convergence efficiency of the strategy for UCAV formation in BVR air combat,with a maximum increase of 81.5%relative to other algorithms.

Effects of triclosan adsorption on intestinal toxicity and resistance gene expression in Xenopus tropicalis with different particle sizes of polystyrene

Microplastics(MPs)are commonly found with hydrophobic contaminants in the water column and pose a serious threat to aquatic *** effects of polystyrene microplastics of different particle sizes on the accumulation of triclosan in the gut of Xenopus tropicalis,its toxic effects,and the transmission of resistance genes were *** results showed that co-exposure to polystyrene(PS-MPs)adsorbed with triclosan(TCS)caused the accumulation of triclosan in the intestine with the following accumulation capacity:TCS+5μm PS group>TCS group>TCS+20μm PS group>TCS+0.1μm PS *** experimental groups showed increased intestinal inflammation and antioxidant enzyme activity after 28 days of exposure to PS-MPs and TCS of different particle *** TCS+20μm PS group exhibited the highest upregulated expression of pro-inflammatory factors(IL-10,IL-1β).The TCS+20μm group showed the highest increase in enzyme activity compared to the control ***-MPs and TCS,either alone or together,altered the composition of the intestinal microbial *** addition,the presence of more antibiotic resistance genes than triclosan resistance genes significantly increased the expression of tetracycline resistance and sulfonamide resistance genes,which may be associated with the development of intestinal inflammation and oxidative *** study refines the aquatic ecotoxicity assessment of TCS adsorbed by MPs and provides informative information for the management and control of microplastics and non-antibiotic bacterial inhibitors.

Mixed time series (MiTS) comprising both continuous variables (CVs) and discrete variables (DVs) are frequently encountered yet under-explored in time series analysis. Essentially, CVs and DVs exhibit different temporal patterns and distribution types. Overlooking these heterogeneities would lead to insufficient and imbalanced representation learning, bringing biased results. This paper addresses the problem with two insights: 1) DVs may originate from intrinsic latent continuous variables (LCVs), which lose fine-grained information due to extrinsic discretization;2) LCVs and CVs share similar temporal patterns and interact spatially. Considering these similarities and interactions, we propose a general MiTS analysis framework MiTSformer, which recovers LCVs behind DVs for sufficient and balanced spatial-temporal modeling by designing two essential inductive biases: 1) hierarchically aggregating multi-scale temporal context information to enrich the information granularity of DVs;2) adaptively learning the aggregation processes via the adversarial guidance from CVs. Subsequently, MiTSformer captures complete spatial-temporal dependencies within and across LCVs and CVs via cascaded self- and cross-attention blocks. Empirically, MiTSformer achieves consistent SOTA on five mixed time series analysis tasks, including classification, extrinsic regression, anomaly detection, imputation, and long-term forecasting. Discrete event system(DES)models promote system engineering,including system design,verification,and *** advancement in manufacturing technology has endowed us to fabricate complex industrial ***,the adoption of advanced modeling methodologies adept at handling complexity and scalability is ***,industrial systems are no longer quiescent,thus the intelligent operations of the systems should be dynamically specified in the *** this paper,the composition of the subsystem behaviors is studied to generate the complexity and scalability of the global system model,and a Boolean semantic specifying algorithm is proposed for generating dynamic intelligent operations in the *** traditional modeling approaches,the change or addition of specifications always necessitates the complete resubmission of the system model,a resource-consuming and error-prone *** with traditional approaches,our approach has three remarkable advantages:(i)an established Boolean semantic can be fitful for all kinds of systems;(ii)there is no need to resubmit the system model whenever there is a change or addition of the operations;(iii)multiple specifying tasks can be easily achieved by continuously adding a new ***,this general modeling approach has wide potential for future complex and intelligent industrial systems.

Three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy offers high-dimensional information and rapid sensitivity, making it advantageous in fields such as environmental monitoring and food testing. However, scattering effects can hinder analysis accuracy, and traditional de-scattering methods often lead to signal loss and distortion. To overcome these issues, a denoising method based on a physics-informed neural network is proposed. This method includes a physical information reconstruction module that generates theoretical values approximating actual scattering values. Integrated into a GAN framework, this module uses physical quantities to guide the generator in producing physically consistent images, thus preserving material integrity after scattering removal. Tests on a self-built dataset show that this method achieves higher physical consistency compared to traditional methods. © 2024 IEEE.
