Milk fat globules(MFG) are the primary source of energy and functional factor in dairy-based *** evaluate the suitability of commercial MFG substitutes for infant and adult consumers,the lipolysis properties and regulatory factors in digesting bovine,caprine,and human MFG were *** lipolysis kinetic models of bovine and caprine MFG are comparable,with bovine MFG displaying the highest degree of lipolysis(50.21%) during gastric digestion in infants,resulting in the production short-chain saturated fatty *** MFG has a high rate of lipolysis due to its weak phospholipid-glycoprotein layer,which is prominent in both infants' and adults' *** effects of consuming bovine and caprine MFG for adults are comparable in terms of lipolysis properties and nutritional value of fatty *** gastrointestinal digestion,human MFG has the highest digestibility(93.98%).The advantages of human MFG include its phospholipid structure,exogenous lipase,and lipolysis-regulating *** study provides recommendation for the selection of milk fat substitutes and improvements in commercial dairy.

Spiking neural networks(SNNs) are widely used in many fields because they work closer to biological ***,due to its computational complexity,many SNNs implementations are limited to computer ***,this paper proposes a multi-synaptic circuit(MSC) based on memristor,which realizes the multi-synapse connection between neurons and the multi-delay transmission of pulse *** synapse circuit participates in the calculation of the network while transmitting the pulse signal,and completes the complex calculations on the software with ***,a new spiking neuron circuit based on the leaky integrate-and-fire(LIF) model is designed in this *** amplitude and width of the pulse emitted by the spiking neuron circuit can be adjusted as *** combination of spiking neuron circuit and MSC forms the multi-synaptic spiking neuron(MSSN).The MSSN was simulated in PSPICE and the expected result was obtained,which verified the feasibility of the ***,a small SNN was designed based on the mathematical model of *** the SNN is trained and optimized,it obtains a good accuracy in the classification of the IRIS-dataset,which verifies the practicability of the design in the network.

IG2: Integrated Gradient on Iterative Gradient Path for Feature Attribution

Feature attribution explains Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the instance level by providing importance scores of input features’ contributions to model prediction. Integrated Gradients (IG) is a prominent path attribution method for deep neural networks, involving the integration of gradients along a path from the explained input (explicand) to a counterfactual instance (baseline). Current IG variants primarily focus on the gradient of explicand’s output. However, our research indicates that the gradient of the counterfactual output significantly affects feature attribution as well. To achieve this, we propose Iterative Gradient path Integrated Gradients (IG2), considering both gradients. IG2 incorporates the counterfactual gradient iteratively into the integration path, generating a novel path (GradPath) and a novel baseline (GradCF). These two novel IG components effectively address the issues of attribution noise and arbitrary baseline choice in earlier IG methods. IG2, as a path method, satisfies many desirable axioms, which are theoretically justified in the paper. Experimental results on XAI benchmark, ImageNet, MNIST, TREC questions answering, wafer-map failure patterns, and CelebA face attributes validate that IG2 delivers superior feature attributions compared to the state-of-the-art techniques. A by-product gas booster station plays an important role in the steel production process, however, due to environmental and other factors can occur jump machine failure, affecting the normal steel production. This study proposes a fault diagnosis method based on one improved domain adversarial neural network (IDANN) for the by-product gas booster station. The method considers the influence of hidden variable factors such as discharge gas pressure and resonance on fault identification and designs an improved domain-adaptive network structure. Assessing the impact of the implicit variable injection ratio on the recognition accuracy of the model, the inter-class distance is adopted to optimize the parameters of the injected implicit variable factor ratio to maximize the inter-class distance. To verify the effectiveness in this study, the operating data of a steel plant LDG booster station is selected for experiments and compared with deep neural networks (DNN) and other fault diagnosis methods. The experimental results show that the recognition rate of this paper can reach 95% for the jump machine faults and the method of this paper has good robustness and network generalization ability. © 2022 IEEE.

In recent years, pre-trained foundation models have developed rapidly and have been applied to various downstream tasks through fine-tuning methods. However, due to the existence of data silos, the lack of data for fine-tuning has become a vital issue preventing the application of the foundation model to industry. In addition, the high complexity of the network makes the foundation model prone to overfitting when used for data-constrained industrial tasks. Therefore, a federated tuning approach with adaptive weight shrinking, named FedAWS, is proposed for collaborative fine-tuning between factories. FedAWS adaptively selects the weight-shrinking factor to reduce overfitting and improve the generalization of the global model without relying on additional data sets or human experience. The case study on an industrial dataset demonstrates the effectiveness of FedAWS. This successful validation provides a new way for inter-factory collaboration to apply the foundation model to industry, thus facilitating the efficient utilization of industrial data.

Flotation dosing control has a significant effect on the product quality and efficiency of flotation production in coal preparation plants. In order to improve the flotation performance, this paper proposes one method of combining model predictive control (MPC) and proportional-integral-derivative (PID). This method weighted the MPC increments and the PID increments, then combined the advantages of each controller. To obtain the optimal controller parameters, one controller parameter optimization framework based on Bayesian optimization (BO) algorithm is established. In the experimental part, the proposed one is applied for solving the flotation dosing control problem in coal preparation plant, and the effectiveness of the method of this paper is verified. In addition, a series of comparative experiments with the traditional MPC and PID control methods are also designed, whose results indicate that the method of this paper shows better advantages in the respects of control stability and response time. © 2022 IEEE.

This work investigates an adaptive fixed-time tracking control issue of nonlinear systems with the multiple uncertainty. A practically fixed-time lemma is established, and the singularity problem of fixed-time tracking control is handled by exploiting the power lifting technique. Moreover, a nonlinear fixed-time tracking scheme is proposed under the framework of the backstepping, and a simple design process is presented, which can simultaneously tackle uncertain parameters and disturbances. Finally, the numerical simulation is to explain the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, we present a new approach to estimate the pose of an object being manipulated by a multi-fingered robotic hand. The method utilizes advanced tactile sensors with high spatial resolution to optimize the estimation of the object's pose using an Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) based approach. We defined and derived the state and measurement equations, as well as evaluated the estimation accuracy in grasping tasks. The approach is able to effectively account for the pose transition caused by tactile pushing, and the mapping from the object's pose to the contact position and normal direction as measured by the tactile sensor. The method was evaluated in multiple grasping experiments in simulation scenarios. Results show that the estimation can converge towards the ground truth in a relatively short period of time, with displacement and rotation errors remaining within acceptable levels. This new method has the potential to improve the accuracy and reliability of robotic grasping and manipulation tasks. © 2023 IEEE.
