Due to their unique properties and appealing applications,low dimensional sp^(3)carbon nanostructures have attracted increasing attention *** on the beam theory and atomistic studies,this work carries out a comprehensive investigation on the vibrational properties of the ultrathin carbon nanothreads(NTH).Size effect is observed in transverse free vibrations of *** quantify such effects,the modified couple stress theory(MCST)is utilized to modify the Timoshenko beam *** to the first four order frequencies of NTHs from atomistic simulations,the critical length scale parameter of MCST is calibrated as 0.1 *** is shown that MCST has minor effect on the first four order modal shapes,except for the clamped *** makes the modal shapes at the clamped boundary closer to those observed in atomistic *** study suggests that to some extent the MCST-based Timoshenko beam theory can well describe the transverse vibration characteristics of the ultrafine NTHs,which are helpful for designing and fabricating the NTH-based nanoscale mechanical resonators.

In the era of big data,there is an urgent need to establish data trading markets for effectively releasing the tremendous value of the drastically explosive *** security and data pricing,however,are still widely regarded as major challenges in this respect,which motivate this research on the novel multi-blockchain based framework for data trading markets and their associated pricing *** this context,data recording and trading are conducted separately within two separate blockchains:the data blockchain(DChain) and the value blockchain(VChain).This enables the establishment of two-layer data trading markets to manage initial data trading in the primary market and subsequent data resales in the secondary ***,pricing mechanisms are then proposed to protect these markets against strategic trading behaviors and balance the payoffs of both suppliers and ***,in regular data trading on VChain-S2D,two auction models are employed according to the demand scale,for dealing with users’ strategic *** incentive-compatible Vickrey-Clarke-Groves(VCG)model is deployed to the low-demand trading scenario,while the nearly incentive-compatible monopolistic price(MP) model is utilized for the high-demand trading *** temporary data trading on VChain-D2S,a reverse auction mechanism namely two-stage obscure selection(TSOS) is designed to regulate both suppliers’ quoting and users’ valuation ***,experiments are carried out to demonstrate the strength of this research in enhancing data security and trading efficiency.

Arsenic release from microbial reduction of scorodite in the presence of electron shuttle in flooded soil

Scorodite (FeAsO_(4)·H_(2)O) is a common arsenic-bearing (As-bearing) iron mineral in nearsurface environments that could immobilize or store As in a bound *** flooded soils,microbe induced Fe(Ⅲ) or As(Ⅴ) reduction can increase the mobility and bioavailability of ***,humic substances can act as electron shuttles to promote this *** dynamics of As release and diversity of putative As(Ⅴ)-reducing bacteria during scorodite reduction have yet to be investigated in detail in flooded ***,the microbial reductive dissolution of scorodite was conducted in an flooded soil in the presence of anthraquinone-2,6-disulfonate (AQDS).Anaeromyxobacter,Dechloromonas,Geothrix,Geobacter,Ideonella,and Zoogloea were found to be the dominant indigenous bacteria during Fe(Ⅲ) and As(Ⅴ) *** increased the relative abundance of dominant species,but did not change the diversity and microbial community of the systems with *** these bacteria,Geobacter exhibited the greatest increase and was the dominant Fe(Ⅲ)-and As(Ⅴ)-reducing bacteria during the incubation with AQDS and *** promoted both Fe(Ⅲ) and As(Ⅴ) reduction,and over 80%of released As(Ⅴ) was microbially transformed to As(Ⅲ).The increases in the abundance of arrA gene and putative arrA sequences of Geobacter were higher with AQDS than without *** a result,the addition of AQDS promoted microbial Fe(Ⅲ) and As(Ⅴ) release and reduction from As-bearing iron minerals into the *** results contribute to exploration of the transformation of As from As-bearing iron minerals under anaerobic conditions,thus providing insights into the bioremediation of As-contaminated soil.

The pollution of antibiotics commonly existed throughout the entire aquaculture process,but the residues of antibiotics at different aquaculture stages have rarely been *** study investigated the occurrence,distribution and risk assessment of antibiotics at different aquaculture stages (the non-aquaculture stage,the early aquaculture stage,the middle aquaculture stage,and the late aquaculture stage) in two typical marine aquaculture areas(Mahegang River and Dingzi Bay) surrounding the Yellow *** and tetracyclines were commonly used antibiotics in the aquaculture of these areas with high detection frequencies (17%to 83%).Compared among four aquaculture stages,the highest concentration of antibiotics (9032.08 ng/L) in aquaculture ponds was detected at the late aquaculture *** the antibiotic pollution level of natural water was directly related to the aquaculture ***,at the aquaculture stages,the detection frequency of antibiotics in sediments was higher than that at the non-aquaculture *** on the correlation analysis,the concentration of main antibiotics in water showed a positive correlation with total nitrogen (p<0.05) and chlorophyll a (p<0.01),while it showed a negative correlation with salinity (p<0.01) in coastal water of the Dingzi *** to the risk assessment,with the development of aquaculture stages,the selection pressure of fluoroquinolones and tetracyclines on resistant bacteria had *** the ecological risks caused by sulfonamides and tetracyclines to aquatic organisms had also increased ***,this study may provide a reference for formulating regulatory policies regarding antibiotic use at different aquaculture stages.

Grasping tasks are crucial for the interaction between the robot and environment, requiring the robot to make autonomous decisions based on environmental conditions and instructions. Recently, multimodal Vision Language Models (VLMs) have demonstrated significant potential for robotic grasping. However, previous work has often been confined to high-level planning due to the gap between the text output of VLMs and the numerical predictions of robot actions, as well as the challenges of transferring rich semantic information from large models to the prediction of grasping actions. In this paper, we co-fine-tune a pre-trained VLM using the mix of large-scale visual language data and robotic grasping trajectory data, integrating model into an end-to-end robot control system to construct a Vision Language Action Model (VLA) capable of generating the robot’s underlying actions. Simultaneously, to fully leverage the prior knowledge and reasoning capabilities of the pre-trained model, we insert a language reasoning structure to bridge the mapping from high-level tasks to low-level actions. This method first deduces the relevant information regarding the target object and the end-effector motions, followed by predicting the grasping actions value with finer granularity based on the language reasoning, thereby enhancing the accuracy of action predictions. A series of grasping experiments demonstrate that our method achieves a high grasping success rate under flexible language instructions and exhibits strong generalization capabilities for unseen objects and scenes. © 2024 IEEE.

In the ultra-high voltage(UHV) network, the operational status of gas-insulated switchgear(GIS) equipment is closely related to the stable, reliable and safe operation of the entire UHV substation. Aiming at the problem that it is difficult to realize accurate and reliable partial discharge detection of GIS equipment due to the high voltage level and strong interference involved in GIS equipment, the study proposes a filtering algorithm based on VMD for electromagnetic wave interference signal of GIS equipment. Firstly, the local discharge signal is collected, secondly, the electromagnetic wave interference signal is superimposed to the discharge signal, and finally, the Variable Difference Modal Decomposition(VMD) signal filtering process is implemented on the MATLAB platform, and the validity of the VMD algorithm is verified by comparing it with the second-order Butterworth high-pass filtering method.

The powerful representational and sequential modeling capabilities of Transformer have been validated in various fields such as natural language processing. However, how to better address sequential decision-making problems like robotic grasping through the Transformer architecture and achieve autonomous control of robotic grasping remains a longstanding challenge. Models that directly output continuous decision actions for robotic arms often rely on mean squared error (MSE) loss for training, which is unable to effectively handle the randomness and diversity of actions. This limitation leads to the generation of relatively singular actions in certain grasping scenarios, reducing the success rate of grasping. To address this issue, this paper proposes a Transformer-based method for discretizing robotic arm actions, where actions are discretized by dimension to enable autoregressive modeling. Experimental results demonstrate that this method effectively improves the grasping performance of robotic arms in simulation environments. © 2024 IEEE.

Monascus vinegar alleviates high-fat-diet-induced inflammation in rats by regulating the NF-κB and PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathways

Monascus vinegar(MV) is a typical fermented food with various health-promoting effects. This study aimed to evaluate the role of MV in alleviating high-fat-diet-induced inflammation in rats with hyperlipidemia and elucidate the possible regulatory mechanisms. In the study, serum lipid profiles, liver pathology and liver inflammatory cytokines were analyzed in hyperlipidemia rats with MV(0.5 mL/kg mb, 2 mL/kg mb). Results showed that the administration of MV alleviated dyslipidemia by decreasing the serum and liver levels of triglyceride and total cholesterol. Increase in hepatic lipase and carnitine palmitoyl transferase 1(CPT-1)levels and decrease in hepatocyte steatosis, nephritis, and intestinal tissue injury in the HD group showed that high-dose MV can significantly suppress hepatic lipid accumulation and steatosis. In addition, compared with the model(MOD) group, the HD group showed significantly down-regulated the level of serum or hepatic alanine aminotransferase(ALT), aspartate aminotransferase(AST), CPT-1, interleukin(IL)-2, IL-6, IL-12,and tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α). Moreover, the HD group showed repressed hepatic nuclear factor κB(NF-κB) pathway and inactivated phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K)/protein kinase B(Akt)/mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR) pathway mitigated liver inflammation. Similar results were obtained from cell experiments. Collectively, these findings revealed that MV might attenuate high-fat-diet-induced inflammation by inhibiting the NF-κB and PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathways.
