1-Hydroxy-7-azabenzotriazole (HOAT) as a key benzotriazole derivative has been widely used in biological, chemical, and pharmaceutical fields. Nevertheless, its energetic property was usually neglected and its thermal hazard characteristics were still unknown. Therefore, this study focused on analyzing the thermal hazard characteristics of HOAT in nonisothermal, isothermal, and adiabatic conditions through differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analyzer, and accelerating rate calorimeter. The relevant thermal decomposition parameters and process safety parameters were evaluated, and the most probable mechanistic function of the main exothermic stage of HOAT decomposition was identified. The microscopic pyrolysis mechanisms of HOAT were investigated based on density functional theory calculations, thermogravimetric-photoionization mass spectrometry, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and energy-dispersive spectra tests. Electrostatic potentials, Laplacian bond order, and main decomposition pathways of HOAT pyrolysis were explored. The research results demonstrated that HOAT decomposition is a process with large amounts of heat and gas released rapidly. The main gaseous products include N2, C2H2, NO, and HCN. The most dangerous step is the six-membered ring opening to form a five-membered carbon–nitrogen heterocyclic with higher heat release. This study contributed to understanding the thermal decomposition characteristics of HOAT and properly providing guidance for improving the thermal safety of HOAT production, transportation, storage, application and formulating emergency plans for related thermal hazards. With the growing demand for image transmission, there is a need for solutions that offer low energy consumption and low latency. In this paper, we present a novel relay-assisted system based on non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) and mobile edge computing (MEC). Our proposed system compresses images at the device end, decompresses them at either a relay or a cloud server (CS). The primary objective is to minimize system energy consumption under given task delay constraints. Considering that this is a non-convex optimization problem, we solve it by decomposing it into a continuous subproblem and a discrete subproblem. To solve the continuous subproblem, we convexify it by introducing new parameters and change variables to get the optimal the computing power of devices, relay and CS, sampling rate of devices, transmission power of devices and relay. To solve the discrete subproblem, we propose a cross-entropy (CE) algorithm to obtain the optimal decompression decision and subcarrier allocation decision. Simulation results demonstrate the accuracy and effectiveness of our algorithm in optimizing total energy consumption compared to the Linear Interactive and General Optimizer (LINGO) and frequency division multiple access (FDMA) methods. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, the problem of time-varying aerodynamic parameters identification under measurement noises is studied. By analyzing the key aerodynamic parameters that affect the aircraft control system, a system model with extended states for identifying equivalent aerodynamic parameters is established, and error parameters are extended to the system state, avoiding the difficulty caused by the unknown dynamic in the system. Furthermore, an identification algorithm based on extended state Kalman filter is designed, and it is proved that the algorithm has quasi-consistency, thus, the estimation error can be evaluated in real time. Finally, the simulation results under typical flight scenarios show that the designed algorithm can accurately identify aerodynamic parameters, and has desired convergence speed and convergence precision.

Nitrated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(NPAHs)are widespread organic pollutants that possess carcinogenic and mutagenic properties,so they may pose a risk to the environment and human *** this study,the concentrations of 15 NPAHs and 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)in 30 surface water samples and 26 sediment samples were measured in 2018 from the Taige Canal,one of the main rivers flowing into Taihu Lake,*** total NPAH concentrations in water and sediment ranged from 14.7 to 235 ng/L and 22.9 to 96.5 ng/g dw,respectively.9-nitrophenanthrene(nd–76.3 ng/L)was the dominant compound in surface water,while 2+3-nitrofluoranthene(1.73–18.1 ng/g dw)dominated in *** PAHs,concentration ranging from 1,097 to 2,981 ng/L and 1,089 to 4,489 ng/g dw in surface water and sediment,*** was a strong positive correlation between the log octanol-water partition coefficient(Kow)and log sediment-water partition coefficient due to hydrophobic *** fugacity fraction value increased with the decrease of log Kow,and chrysene was transferred from water into *** residual NPAHs in surface water and sediment of the Taige Canal have partial *** engine and coal combustion emissions were probably the principal sources of NPAHs in surface water and *** results of ecological risk assessment showed that some NPAHs inwater(e.g,1-nitropyrene and 6-nitrochrysene)and sediment(e.g.,2-nitrobiphenyl,5-nitroacenaphthene,9-nitrophenanthrene and 2+3-nitrofluoranthene)had moderate ecological risks,which should be of concern.

Eriocheir sinensis is the main aquaculture species in China. With the continuous expansion of the aquaculture scale, the demand for E. sinensis seedlings was also increased. The water used in breeding has well-nourished and its discharge into the sea posed significant risks. This study sampled the wastewater discharge points of the E. sinensis seedlings in Sheyang County, Jiangsu Province, and the areas far from the discharge points that were not affected in March and May 2023, respectively. A large number of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) were found in the sediment of the wastewater discharge area, and the highest ARG was sulfonamide ARG-sul1 using qPCR analysis, while ARGs were almost undetectable in the areas not affected by wastewater discharge. The 16S rRNA sequence analysis results showed that the main bacterial phyla at the wastewater discharge point were Bacteroidetes, Proteobacteria, and Thermodesulfobacteria. In the control point, the main bacterial phyla were Proteobacteria, Chlorobacterium, and Thermodesulfobacteria. There were significant differences in the composition of microbial communities between the two points, and the samples at the wastewater discharge point were more clustered and had higher similarity. The correlation network and redundancy analysis indicated that the phyla Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes, and Proteobacteria at the wastewater discharge points were positively correlated with most ARGs. The wastewater discharge had no effect on heavy metals from the two points. This study sets a foundation for future research by identifying key microbial taxa as potential ARG carriers and examining the interactions between microbial communities, ARGs, and heavy metals. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2024.

The ozone(O_(3))pollution in China drew lots of attention in recent years,and the Sichuan Basin(SCB)was one of the regions confronting worsening O_(3)pollution *** previous studies have shown that regional transport is an important contributor to O_(3)***,very few features of the O_(3)profile during transport have been reported,especially in the border regions between different administrative *** this study,we conducted tethered balloon soundings in SCB during the summer of 2020 and captured a nocturnal O_(3)transport event during the ***,the O_(3)transport occurred in the bottom of the residual layer,between 200 and 500 m above ground ***,the transport pathway was directed from southeast to northwest based on the analysis of the wind field and air mass *** effect of transport in the residual layer on the surface O_(3)concentration was related to the spatial distribution of O_(3).For cities with high O_(3)concentrations in the upwind region,the transport process would bring clean air masses and abate *** downwind lightly polluted cities,the transport process would slow down the decreasing or even increase the surface O_(3)concentration during the *** provided observational facts on the profile features of a transboundary O_(3)transport event between two provincial administrative divisions,which implicated the importance of joint prevention and control ***,the sounding parameters were limited and the quantitative analysis was preliminary,more integrated,and thorough studies of this topic were called for in the future.

With the rapid growth of internet content, multimodal long document data has become increasingly prominent, drawing significant attention from researchers. However, most existing methods primarily focus on scenarios where all modalities are present, often overlooking more challenging and realistic cases involving missing image modality. To address this limitation, we propose a robust multimodal long document classification (MLDC) framework that integrates hierarchical modeling and dynamic prompting to handle complex multimodal long document data. Our approach begins by leveraging hierarchical modeling combined with an Adaptive Correlation Multimodal Transformer (ACMT) to effectively capture relationships between text and images at both section and sentence levels. We also introduce a Dynamic Prompt Generation (DPG) module at both levels to enhance the model's robustness in handling missing image data. By evaluating sample uncertainty, the DPG module dynamically adjusts both the number of prompts and the prompts themselves, allowing the model to better adapt to the varying needs of different samples. Finally, a Hierarchical Heterogeneous Graph (HHG) is introduced to enhance feature interactions across levels, further improving the coherence and accuracy of the model. Extensive experiments on four multi-modal long document datasets demonstrate that our model shows superior performance compared to existing state-of-the-art MLDC classification methods in various conditions. © 1991-2012 IEEE.

Designing high-efficiency photocatalysts responsive to visible light is important for the degradation of antibiotics in *** engineering is undoubtedly an effective strategy to improve the photocatalytic *** this work,spinel-type metal oxides(NiAl_(2)O_(4),NAO)are synthesized by a simple sol-gel and calcination *** compounding graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4)),NAO/g-C_(3)N_(4) heterojunction is obtained,which then is used as the photocatalyst for tetracycline hydrochloride(TC).The effects of photocatalyst dosage,the initial concentration of TC,and solution pH on photodegradation performance are systematically *** removal rate of TC on NAO/g-C_(3)N_(4) reach up to∼90%after visible light irradiation for 2 hr and the degradation rate constant is∼7 times,and∼32 times higher than that of pure NAO and g-C_(3)N_(4).The significantly improved photocatalytic activity can be attributed to the synergistic effect between well matched energy levels in NAO/g-C_(3)N_(4) heterojunctions,improvement of interfacial charge transfer,and enhancement of visible light *** study provides a way for the synthesis of efficient photocatalysts and an economic strategy for removing antibiotics contamination in water.
