A novel routing method for dynamic control in distributed computing power networks

Driven by diverse intelligent applications,computing capability is moving from the central cloud to the edge of the network in the form of small cloud nodes,forming a distributed computing power *** with both packet transmission and data processing,it requires joint optimization of communications and *** the diverse requirements of applications,we develop a dynamic control policy of routing to determine both paths and computing nodes in a distributed computing power *** from traditional routing protocols,additional metrics related to computing are taken into consideration in the proposed *** on the multi-attribute decision theory and the fuzzy logic theory,we propose two routing selection algorithms,the Fuzzy Logic-Based Routing(FLBR)algorithm and the low-complexity Pairwise Multi-Attribute Decision-Making(l PMADM)*** results show that the proposed policy could achieve better performance in average processing delay,user satisfaction,and load balancing compared with existing works.

BUPTCMCC-6G-CMG+: a GBSM-based ISAC standard channel model generator

Integrated sensing and communication(ISAC) has been recognized as the key technology in the vision of the sixth generation(6G) era. With the emergence of new concepts in mobile communications, the channel model is the prerequisite for system design and performance evaluation. Currently, the 3rd generation partnership project(3GPP) Release 19 is advancing the standardization of ISAC channel models. Nevertheless, a unified modeling framework has yet to be established. This paper provides a simulation diagram of ISAC channel modeling extended based on the geometry-based stochastic model(GBSM),compatible with existing 5G channel models and the latest progress in the 3GPP Rel-19 standardization. We first introduce the progress of the ISAC channel model standardization in general. Then, a concatenated channel modeling method is presented considering the team's standardization proposals, which are implemented on the BUPTCMCC-6G-CMG+ channel model generator. We validated the model in cumulative probability density function in statistical extension of angle and delay, and radar cross section(RCS). Simulation results show that the proposed model can realistically characterize the feature of channel concatenation and RCS within the ISAC channel.

The Lightweight Edge-Side Fault Diagnosis Approach Based on Spiking Neural Network

Network fault diagnosis methods play a vital role in maintaining network service quality and enhancing user experience as an integral component of intelligent network *** the unique characteristics of edge networks,such as limited resources,complex network faults,and the need for high real-time performance,enhancing and optimizing existing network fault diagnosis methods is ***,this paper proposes the lightweight edge-side fault diagnosis approach based on a spiking neural network(LSNN).Firstly,we use the Izhikevich neurons model to replace the Leaky Integrate and Fire(LIF)neurons model in the LSNN *** neurons inherit the simplicity of LIF neurons but also possess richer behavioral characteristics and flexibility to handle diverse data *** by Fast Spiking Interneurons(FSIs)with a high-frequency firing pattern,we use the parameters of ***,inspired by the connection mode based on spiking dynamics in the basal ganglia(BG)area of the brain,we propose the pruning approach based on the FSIs of the BG in LSNN to improve computational efficiency and reduce the demand for computing resources and energy ***,we propose a multiple iterative Dynamic Spike Timing Dependent Plasticity(DSTDP)algorithm to enhance the accuracy of the LSNN *** on two server fault datasets demonstrate significant precision,recall,and F1 improvements across three diagnosis ***,lightweight indicators such as Params and FLOPs significantly reduced,showcasing the LSNN’s advanced performance and model *** conclude,experiment results on a pair of datasets indicate that the LSNN model surpasses traditional models and achieves cutting-edge outcomes in network fault diagnosis tasks.

Towards Bare-Hand Interaction for Whiteboard Collaboration in Virtual Reality

Whiteboard collaboration in virtual reality (VR) is an important task in collaborative virtual environments. The current research mainly relies on the use of controllers or dedicated pens but additional devices will cause inconvenience to users. Bare-hand writing offers rich collaborative semantics through natural gestures but remains underexplored. This paper addresses challenges and solutions for bare-hand whiteboard collaboration. We analyze the input process and identify key challenges in determining pen-drop, writing, and pen-lift intentions while maintaining user control over their avatar. Our approach addresses two VR scenarios: one without and one with physical planes. The method for the first case is called Air-writing, which dynamically adjusts the distance between the avatar’s torso and the virtual whiteboard during the processes of pen-drop and pen-lift to ensure a consistent writing experience in VR. The method for the second case is called Physical-writing, which allows users to write smoothly with passive haptic feedback and physical constraints provided by the real surface by remapping the whiteboard in VR with a plane in reality. A comprehensive user study is conducted to evaluate communication efficiency, input accuracy, collaboration efficiency, and user experience of the two methods. The experimental results indicate that bare-hand interaction improves communication efficiency by 8% over controllers and performs similarly to real-world whiteboard collaboration. The Physical-writing method also demonstrates higher accuracy and user satisfaction compared to the Air-writing method. © 2025 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). Integrated sensing and communication(ISAC) is regarded as a promising technology for sixth-generation(6G) *** channel modeling is essential for designing and evaluating the performance of ISAC systems. In December 2023, the 3rd Generation Partnership Project(3GPP)established a new industry specification group dedicated to ISAC. The group's objective is to research ISAC channel modeling, laying the technical foundations for 6G standardization. Compared to the traditional 5G communication channel, 6G ISAC channel requires accurate modeling of new properties.

Dynamic Delay-Doppler-Angle Domain Channel Tracking for THz Massive MIMO-OTFS Communication Systems

As data transmission demand grows rapidly, terahertz (THz) frequency has been regarded as the most promising candidate in future sixth-generation (6G) communication systems. Facing severe path loss, THz communications have to use massive MIMO technology to promote the directional transmission gain in narrow beams. However, narrow beams and wide bandwidth signal in THz communications together result in the time-frequency-space non-stationary channel. To track this non-stationary channel, we first combine THz massive MIMO communication system with orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) modulation to get the union sparse channel on delay-Doppler-angle (DDA) domain. Then this non-stationary channel is modeled through our proposed DDA-2D-Markov models (DDA-2D-MM) considering the unique channel characteristics on delay, Doppler and angle dimension respectively. Besides, we design a unique DDA-structured approximate message passing (DDA-STAMP) algorithm to track the dynamic channel with the prior information in consecutive time slots to improve the algorithm convergence speed and accuracy performance. Simulation results show that the proposed DDA-STAMP algorithm enhances both of the time consumption and accuracy performance in THz massive MIMO-OTFS communication channel tracking. © 2002-2012 IEEE.

Feasibility study of cooperative sensing: radar cross section, synchronization, cooperative cluster,performance and prototype

This paper investigates the potential of integrated sensing and communication(ISAC) for the upcoming sixth generation(6G) mobile communications system, which is expected to go beyond communication and incorporate sensing capabilities. A major challenge with conventional ISAC systems is the self-interference caused by using a base station(BS)as both the sensing transmitter and receiver, which requires complex and costly hardware upgrades to enable full *** address this issue, we propose a cooperative sensing approach, where node A acts as the transmitter and node B as the receiver. In this study, we analyze the scattering characteristics of targets in a cooperative sensing scenario and find that the radar cross section(RCS) of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) follows a lognormal distribution. We then propose a time-frequency synchronization method, a cooperative sensing cluster construction method, and a multi-node signal-level fusion method to accurately determine the target's position. Simulation results, incorporating non-ideal factors, show that the proposed system can achieve precise target positioning. The accuracy is improved by more than five times compared to mono-static sensing and over 25% compared to result-level fusion methods. Additionally, prototype experimental results validate the feasibility of the proposed system.

A Hybrid Small-Cell and Clustered Cell-Free Massive MIMO System under Mobility Scenarios

Recently,cell-free(CF)massive multipleinput multiple-output(MIMO)becomes a promising architecture for the next generation wireless communication system,where a large number of distributed access points(APs)are deployed to simultaneously serve multiple user equipments(UEs)for improved ***,a clustered CF system is considered to tackle the backhaul overhead issue in the huge connection *** this paper,taking into account the more realistic mobility scenarios,we propose a hybrid small-cell(SC)and clustered CF massive MIMO system through classifications of the UEs and APs,and constructing the corresponding pairs to run in SC or CF mode.A joint initial AP selection of this paradigm for all the UEs is firstly proposed,which is based on the statistics of estimated ***,closed-form expressions of the downlink achievable rates for both the static and moving UEs are provided under Ricean fading channel and Doppler shift *** also develop a semi-heuristic search algorithm to deal with the AP selection for the moving UEs by maximizing the weight average achievable *** results demonstrate the performance gains and effective rates balancing of the proposed system.

Crowdsensing,as a data collection method that uses the mobile sensing ability of many users to help the public collect and extract useful information,has received extensive attention in data *** crowdsensing relies on user equipment to consume resources to obtain information,and the quality and distribution of user equipment are uneven,crowdsensing has problems such as low participation enthusiasm of participants and low quality of collected data,which affects the widespread use of *** paper proposes to apply the blockchain to crowdsensing and solve the above challenges by utilizing the characteristics of the blockchain,such as immutability and *** architecture for constructing a crowdsensing incentive mechanism under distributed incentives is proposed.A multi-attribute auction algorithm and a k-nearest neighbor-based sensing data quality determination algorithm are proposed to support the *** users upload data,determine data quality according to the algorithm,update user reputation,and realize the selection of perceived *** process of screening data and updating reputation value is realized by smart contracts,which ensures that the information cannot be tampered with,thereby encouraging more users to *** of the simulation show that using two algorithms can well reflect data quality and screen out malicious *** the help of blockchain performance,the architecture and algorithm can achieve decentralized storage and tamper-proof information,which helps to motivate more users to participate in perception tasks and improve data quality.
