With industrial grade Al(OH)3 as raw materials, the self dispersion nanosized AlOOH crystal powder were prepared by the sol-hydrothermal method. The results of XRD and TEM show that the nanosized AlOOH could automatically disperse to a single-dispersing state in water without surface modification, dispersant, additive and accessional conditions (ultrasonic wave dispersing, ball-mill dispersing). The application results of the product indicate that the nanosized AlOOH can be composed into a toughened nanocomposites without surface modification. Accordingly, the self dispersion characteristic and mechanism of hydrothermal crystallization and charging composite dispersion of nanosized AIOOH are found, and a new technique of preparing polymer/inorganic nanocomposites is proposed, which is called blending compositing new techniques of sol even dispersing at auasi-homogeneous phase.

To reuse roller waste as a raw material of high performance green ceramic balls,three kinds of white alumina ceramic balls whose wear resistance were 2-3 times of the best high alumina ceramic ball with90% Al2O3 were prepared,and the Al2O3 content of the prepared balls was 75%.It is found that the effect of calcia and magnesia on the wear resistance of ceramic balls is contrast to the accepted one: the wear rate of the ceramic balls prepared in CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 system is the lowest and the wear rate of the ceramic balls prepared in MgO-Al2O3-SiO2 is the *** main crystal phase of the ceramic ball is mullite and *** ceramic ball granular is uniform and fine with 4-5 um average *** pore diameter is about 2 *** wear way of the ceramic balls is mainly transcrystalline fracture.

In this study, K3Li2-xNb5+xO 15+2x (KLN) thin films were prepared by laser-ablated a sintered ceramic target. For an optimum deposition condition, in-situ post annealing method was employed on as-deposited films. XRD measurements showed that KLN films with (310) preferred orientation were obtained on fused quartz substrate. Surface morphology studies indicated mat in-situ post annealing could improve the surface quality of KLN thin films. The average transmittance of as-deposited and annealed films in the visible range was nearly 80% to 90%.

Potassium lithium niobate (KLN:K3Li2Nb5O15) thin films have been deposited on quartz glass by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique using a stoichiometric KLN target, which was prepared by solid reaction with K2CO3, Li2CO3, and Nb2O5 powders as starting materials. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman studies have revealed that tetragonal tungsten-bronze-type structure of KLN films with (310) preferred orientation could be achieved at the substrate temperature of 700°C and the oxygen partial pressure of 10 Pa. The average transmittance of as-deposited thin films in the visible range was nearly 90%.
