The vinyl content in methyl vinyl silicone oil has a significant impact on the mechanical and electrical properties of reinforced silicone rubber. In this study, mechanical property and electrical tree initiation of silicone rubber were studied by comparing different vinyl contents. The results show that shore hardness, tensile strength, elongation at break, and tear strength of insulating silicone rubber material increase first and then decrease with the of vinyl content increasing from 1% to 5%. The breakdown strength and the initiation voltage of electrical tree are basically consistent with the variation of tensile strength and tear strength. Detailed discussion are presented. This work could provide data support for the practical preparation of engineering silicone rubber.

Advanced adiabatic compressed air energy storage (AA-CAES) could play an important role in power distribution system for mitigating the intermittency of distributed renewable generations and reducing the peak-valley difference of load demand, which requires to operate AA-CAES under off-design conditions. A powersystem dispatch oriented AA-CAES model was proposed based on the technically thermodynamic performance curves of compressor and expansion calibrated from experiments, highlighting the impact of AA-CAES part-lard features on charging/discharging efficiency and capacity. The proposed model is integrated with economic dispatch problem of power distribution systems, giving rise to a nonlinear program due to the state-dependent charging and discharging performances. The dispatch model is further linearized via piecewise linear approximation and special-ordered set of type 2, and its equivalent mixed integer linear formulation is presented. A modified IEEE 33-bus system is adopted to verify the effectiveness of proposed model for renewables accommodation.

With the increasing proportion of renewable energy generation into the power grid, more challenges are coming to the safe and stable operation of the powersystem. Virtual power plant (VPP) has been extensively studied as a concept that aggregates multiple resource forms to serve the electricity market. Meanwhile, with the development of Energy Internet (EI) Error! Reference source not found., more attention has been focused on the optimization and operation of Integrated Energy system (IES), therefore, the introduction and exploration of Multi-energy Virtual power Plant (MVPP) provide possibilities for IES to participate in the Electricity Market and Ancillary Services Market. This paper extracts the flexible electric and heat load in the industrial production process, combining the CHP units and Electric Boiler (EB), which are main heat energy supply devices as well as Energy Storage system (ESS) as a MVPP to provide Frequency Regulation (FR) service to the Auxiliary Service Market. Model Predictive control (MPC) method is applied to control the industrial load, the operation of CHP, EB and ESS are gonging to follow the AGC signal issued by the FR market effectively while avoiding impacts on the production process of the factory. Finally, case study validates the effectiveness of the model.

Vuilleumier cycle was first patented in 1918. It was usually regard as the thermal-driven Stirling refrigeration cycle, which combined the low-frequency working pattern like Giffod-Mcmahon (GM) cryocooler and the compactness of Stirling-type cryocooler. With the continuous development in the past 100 years, the Vuilleumier-type (VM-type) cryocoolers have to been proved to generate cooling power from ambient temperature to liquid nitrogen temperature and even to liquid helium temperature. In recent decades, some efforts were made on traditional displacer-type VM cryocooler, Vuilleumier hybrid pulse tube cryocooler (VM-HPTC) and the VM-type pulse tube cryocooler (VM-type PTC) to obtain the liquid helium temperature. Successfully, not only the 4 K was obtained, but also the limit temperature of oscillating cryocooler by He4 was hit. This paper presents the progress of the 4 K-class VM-type cryocooler and analyzed the possible applications of 4 K class VM-type cryocooler.
