With the continuous advancement of the construction of new powersystems, the data information of the power system is increasing exponentially, and the spatiotemporal distribution of the use of smart terminals and electrical equipment is more scattered. Data collection and analysis of traditional powersystems will be a huge challenge. In order to meet the actual needs of multi-scenario, multi-service, and changeable measurement and control objects of intelligent distribution network, this paper firstly studies the design of general terminal open architecture for distribution network multi-measurement and control scenarios, proposes a data service architecture based on open architecture, and establishes a self-description-based open architecture design. The unified information model of the Internet of Things protocol, research and development of intelligent measurement, and the controlling of universal terminals meet multiple communication methods, and realize the deployment verification of intelligent measurement.

Recently, several power grids of China came across low frequency oscillations which are difficult to explain by the traditional negative damping mechanism. Some researchers suggest that those oscillations be caused by external periodic disturbances according to the forced oscillation mechanism. It takes no doubt that the oscillation source location (means locating the disturbances) is imperative and decisive to eliminate such a kind of oscillations. This paper proposes a location methodology based on Energy Supply on Port derived from the Port-controlled Hamiltonian theory. By calculating the energy injected to the network at corresponding ports, the oscillation sources can be effectively located, even in complicated systems containing various kinds of control devices such as governors and exciters. Different from the traditional methodology based on eigen-analysis, the proposed methodology is naturally decentralized without the dependency on global measurements. Case studies on the standard 4-machine 2-area system and the IEEE-118 bus system show the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed methodology.

This paper studies the dynamic operation of a residential electric energy system with distributed renewable generation. Energy streams among the power grid, local renewable plant, storage unit, and demand are considered; the temporal volatility of renewable generation is described by an uncertainty set, and the optimal operation problem gives rise to a multi-stage robust optimization. To deal with the non-anticipativity issue, the robust model is solved via robust dual dynamic programming (RDDP) approach. The the cost-to-go function is approximated by iteratively updating the upper and lower bounds, which can be obtained from forward-pass and backward pass procedures. Case studies validate the performance and advantage of the proposed method.

When penetration levels of renewable energy of power system are increased, the proportion of thermal power units will gradually decrease. This will cause the frequency regulation capacity of the power system to gradually decline. To this end, battery energy storage systems are widely used to frequency regulation in the power system. However, the frequency regulation ability of battery energy storage system to substitute thermal power units has not yet been quantified. In this paper, it introduces two frequency regulation method models. In the proposed models, the influence of different energy storage participation degrees on the effect of frequency regulation is analyzed, and a power and energy indicators system for quantifying energy storage substitution ability is proposed based on the advantages of frequency regulation with energy storage. The simulation results indicate that the ability of energy storage to substitute thermal power units is about 20-35 in terms of rapid energy supply when the installed capacity is same.

In the conventional phase-shift control of isolated bidirectional DC-DC converters, the phenomenon of power backflow is quite obvious. General improved phase-shift control methods can reduce the power backflow of the input. However, they do not take the power backflow of the output into consideration. In this paper, a novel phase-shift control of isolated bidirectional DC-DC converters for unidirectional power flow is proposed. It can eliminate the power backflows of both the input and the output at the same time. Furthermore, the converters in the proposed phase-shift control can achieve the zero-current switching in the whole power rang. Experimental results from a prototype verify the feasibility and validity of the proposed control method, and show superior performance.

Aiming at the power allocation problem of multiple energy storage power stations distributed at different locations in the regional power grid participating in frequency modulation services, a frequency modulation power optimization allocation strategy for multiple energy storage systems considering the dual constraints of frequency modulation cost and frequency modulation capability is proposed. Firstly, a multi-objective optimization allocation model for frequency modulation power is constructed with the minimum frequency modulation cost and minimum deviation of the state of charge (SOC) for energy storage power plants. Secondly, using Pareto based multi-objective genetic algorithm (MOGA) to solve the model, introduce adaptive weight coefficients and fuzzy membership functions for each objective function regarding the frequency regulation demand of the power grid and the deviation of the SOC of energy storage stations, construct a comprehensive satisfaction function to make decisions on the most advantageous points on the Pareto frontier, in order to obtain the optimal output of each energy storage station that can adapt to the frequency regulation requirements of the power grid. Finally, simulation analysis was conducted on the proposed strategy in this article, and the results showed that: The proposed strategy not only enhances the frequency regulation economy of the regional power grid, but also helps to restore the SOC of the energy storage power station.

In this paper, based on the 3D Gauss Markov moving model, we modeled the motion mode of the UAV group. By using the Weibull distribution to sample the failure of the fleet, and through the correlation matrix which characterizes the connectivity state of network nodes in the time domain, we studied and compare the reliability of the self-organizing network of the UAV group with different formations.
