Aim at the problem of the communication signal blind source separation, a novel blind separation algorithm based on step size adaptation (EASIBSA) to increase the convergence rate of the separation algorithm was present by using the idea of parameter adaptation optimization, which was based on Equivariant Adaptive Separation via Independent (EASI) algorithm. This algorithm related the learning rate with the object function and adapted it by using the stochastic gradient method, which avoided the selection of optimum learning rate and speed up the convergence rate. Simulation results showed that improved algorithm could increase the convergence rate of separation algorithm by two times without affecting the separation capability.

Cognitive radio was deemed to an effective solution to the current shortage of spectrum resources. The most important part of the technique is open spectrum access. A naive spectrum allocation between CR users may lead to significant interference and reduce and reduce the usage of the spectrum. In this paper, we first develop a graph-theoretical model to characterize the different traffic demands between CR users by using interfere graph, on the basis of traditional labeling system we propose a Traffic-demand algorithm base on the graph theoretical model, which can support the different traffic demands of CR users that change with time. Experimental results show that when the traffic demands of CR users are limited and change with time, our algorithm can dramatically improve the fairness and produce high efficiency of the spectrum allocation.

The sensing performance of local detection in cognitive radio systems will be degraded when the channel experience fading and shadowing, and hidden terminal problem is inevitable for the primary transmitter-sensing. To overcome this problem, cooperative spectrum sensing has been proposed. We propose a twice-cooperative sensing algorithm to improve the sensing performance. By comparing to the single-cooperative, the simulations show that the proposed algorithm can enhance the sensing performance and the proposed algorithm can also save the band width of the control channel.

In this paper, dopant segregation (DS) method is adopted to enhance device performance of PtSi-based Schottky-barrier source/drain MOSFETs (SB-MOSFETs) fabricated on ultrathin silicon-on-insulator. The DS formation is realized by means of Silicide As Diffusion Source. Without DS treatment, the devices are typically p-type, but with a rather large electron branch at positive gate bias. Dopant segregation with As is found to turn the devices to well-performing n-MOSFETs, and DS with B to greatly enhance the hole conduction in the p-MOSFETs. A large threshold voltage (V{sub}t) shift is however observed in the p-MOSFET due to B lateral spread caused during the drive-in process for the DS formation. By reducing the drive-in temperature, this problem is partially addressed with a smaller V{sub}t shift and a much better control of short channel effect.

This works demonstrates a novel approach using Si implantation prior to Pt deposition and PtSi formation to control the underlap length between the PtSi source/drain regions to the gate in Schottky-Barrier (SB-)^sMOSFETs. Dopant segregation at the PtSi/Si interface is used to enhance device performance. With the I{sub}(on)/I{sub}(off) current ratio as an indicator, optimized Si implant doses are found for both n- and p-channel SB-MOSFETs. Through an effective barrier width, the underlap length has direct implication on the leakage current.
