To control the free floating spacecraft in outer space, this paper builds a model of free floating sphere movement under the action or multi-thrusters, and uses genetic algorithm (GA) to optimize the path and position in different control phases by using a combination of thrusters. In each phase, it makes the control target as the fitness function of GA to search the best solution, then uses this combination to move the sphere to an objective position and stabilizes it in the objective state. Contrasted to the traditional optimal control method, this control method is much simple and does not need a complicated algorithmic analysis, but can achieve a much effective result.

A novel MEMS gas sensor including a PZT thin film layer and a zeolite layer is developed in this paper, which shows effective combination of high sensitivity and high selectivity. Working in resonating mode, the sensor depicts the mass loading due to molecular adsorption of the zeolite by the frequency shift. The relationship between the frequency shift in percent and the concentration of Freon is linear. The minimum mass loading of 3.5×10-9g and the sensitivity of -0.0024%/ppm can be determined from the experimental results.

This paper presents a new soliton approach to hyper-distributed hyper-parallel self-organizing dynamic scheduling for task allocations among rational autonomous agents in a multi-agent system (MAS). This approach can overcome many drawbacks of other mechanisms currently used for coalition formation and cooperation in MAS. The thorny problems, such as overabundant bid, social behaviors, colony intelligence, variable neighbors, and interdepen-dency, can easily be treated by using the proposed approach, whereas they are very difficult for other conventional approaches. The simulation on a distributed transport scheduling sys-tem shows the soliton approach featured by hyper-parallelism, effectiveness, openness, dynamic alignment and adaption.

A joint speech signal enhancement based on singular value decomposition filter after spectral subtraction (SSVD) is proposed in this paper. The residual noise after spectral subtraction, which results for audible musical noise, is reduced further by SVD filter. The matrix size in spectral domain can be reduced half, and larger step-length adopted by SVD filter in spectral domain leads to lower cost, which make sure that the system can work in real-time. A novel speech/pause detector based on entropy(ESPD) is proposed too. The new detector improves the performance of the whole noise suppression system significantly.
