This paper,from the view of a defender,addresses the security problem of cyber-physical systems(CPSs)subject to stealthy false data injection(FDI)attacks that cannot be detected by a residual-based anomaly detector without other defensive *** detect such a class of FDI attacks,a stochastic coding scheme,which codes the sensor measurement with a Gaussian stochastic signal at the sensor side,is proposed to assist an anomaly detector to expose the FDI *** order to ensure the system performance in the normal operational context,a decoder is adopted to decode the coded sensor measurement when received at the controller *** this detection scheme,the residual under the attack can be significantly different from that in the normal situation,and thus trigger an *** design condition of the coding signal covariance is derived to meet the constraints of false alarm rate and attack detection *** minimize the trace of the coding signal covariance,the design problem of the coding signal is converted into a constraint non-convex optimization problem,and an estimation-optimization iteration algorithm is presented to obtain a numerical solution of the coding signal covariance.A numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

It is difficult to rescue people from outside, and emergency evacuation is still a main measure to decrease casualties in high-rise building fires. To improve evacuation efficiency, a valid and easily manipulated grouping evacuation strategy is proposed. Occupants escape in groups according to the shortest evacuation route is determined by graph theory. In order to evaluate and find the optimal grouping, computational experiments are performed to design and simulate the evacuation processes. A case study shown the application in detail and quantitative research conclusions is obtained. The thoughts and approaches of this study can be used to guide actual high-rise building evacuation processes in future.

A biomimetic underwater vehicle propelled by two undulating long-fins is introduced in this paper. The concerned vehicle is propelled by two symmetrical undulating long-fins installed on both sides. Ten servo motors are employed to drive the long-fins and cosine wave function is employed for motor control. A real-time control system is designed for controlling the long-fins by adjusting its oscillating frequency and oscillating amplitude. An inertial measurement unit is installed to collect the accelerations and angular velocity. To obtain the relationship between oscillating frequency/amplitude and swimming performance, kinematic analysis and hydromechanic analysis are given. By dividing the long-fin into many small elements and computing the hydrodynamic force acting on each element, the instantaneous thrust generated by the long-fin is obtained. Then the average thrust of the long-fin is obtained by summing up the forces acted on the elements in one undulating period. Then swimming experiments are carried out to validate the vehicle design and kinematic analysis and hydromechanic analysis. And two swimming motion modes including marching and rotating locomotion are chosen. Finally, discussions between the swimming performance and the oscillating parameters are given.

With the rapid development of information technologies such as digital twin, extended reality, and blockchain,the hype around "metaverse" is increasing at astronomical speed. However, much attention has been paid to its entertainment and social functions. Considering the openness and interoperability of metaverses, the market of quality inspection promises explosive growth. In this paper, taking advantage of metaverses, we first propose the concept of Automated Quality Inspection(Auto QI), which performs integrated inspection covering the entire manufacturing process, including Quality of Materials, Quality of Manufacturing(Qo M), Quality of Products, Quality of Processes(Qo P), Quality of systems, and Quality of Services(Qo S). Based on the scenarios engineering theory, we discuss how to perform interactions between metaverses and the physical world for virtual design instruction and physical validation feedback. Then we introduce a bottomup inspection device development workflow with productivity tools offered by metaverses, making development more effective and efficient than ever. With the development of intelligent and connected vehicles, RSU (roadside unit) sensors are playing an increasingly important role for environment perception. For vehicle detection in autonomous mine, lack of diversity data on RSU LiDAR limits the application of deep learning based methods. To solve this issue, a voxel-based background filtering module is introduced into 3D object detectors for vehicle detection with RSU LiDAR in mine environments. The proposed background filtering method models average height and the number of points for each voxel as Gaussian distribution to generate a background table. To address the impact of the false negative points of the background filtering module, we also propose a multivariate Gaussian loss to model bounding box uncertainty. The predicted covariances between variates help to learn the relationship between the missed parts and the visible ones. Besides, a background filtering based data augmentation method for vehicle detection is also proposed in this paper. Three RSU LiDAR datasets with different terrains in the BaoLi mine area are used for comprehensive experiment evaluations. Experiments show that the proposed background filtering module and multivariate Gaussian loss can significantly improve the generalization ability and performance of several state-of-the-art 3D detectors on different terrain data. Moreover, most background voxels are filtered out, the inference time of the 3D detectors is about 2x faster. Besides, the effectiveness of the proposed data augmentation method is also demonstrated.

To overcome public transportation problems during the 16th Asian Games held in Guanhzhou China, a PtMS (Parallel Transportation management System), a novel application of intelligent Transportation systems, was introduced for effective and convenient traffic management. Results show that PtMS has successfully enhanced public traffic management, raising it from experience-based policy formulation plus manual implementation to scientific computing-based policy generation plus implementation with intelligentsystems.
