Introduction: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a risk factor for the development of coronary artery disease (CAD). In patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS), guidelines recommend a potent P2Y12 inhibitor in addition to aspirin. For those with complicated and advanced CAD requiring complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), the risk for adverse ischemic events is even higher. Prolonged dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) use is controversial. A new antiplatelet regimen after PCI should be considered. In this analysis, we aimed to systematically show the impact of long-term ticagrelor monotherapy after a short course of DAPT use on the outcomes in patients with T2DM following ***: Electronic databases were searched for relevant publications. Studies that were based on patients with T2DM and that included patients with T2DM were selected on the basis of the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Statistical analysis was carried out with RevMan software. The data are presented as risk ratios (RR) with 95% confidence intervals (CI).Results: A total of 8621 patients were included in this analysis, whereby 4357 participants with T2DM were assigned to ticagrelor monotherapy and 4264 were assigned to DAPT. Our results showed long-term ticagrelor monotherapy after a short course of DAPT use to be associated with a significantly lower risk of major adverse cardiac events (RR 0.86, 95% CI 0.77-0.98;P = 0.02) and all-cause mortality (RR 0.77, 95% CI 0.60-0.98;P = 0.03). However, no significant difference was observed in cardiac death, myocardial infarction, stroke, stent thrombosis, or repeated revascularization. Ticagrelor monotherapy was associated with significantly lower risk of thrombolysis in myocardial infarction (TIMI) defined minor or major bleeding (RR 0.71, 95% CI 0.54-0.93;P = 0.01) compared with the DAPT ***: Long-term ticagrelor monotherapy after a short course of DAPT use showed better results in patients with T2DM following PCI. In this work, a neural-networks (NNs)-based adaptive asymptotic tracking control scheme is presented for a class of uncertain nonstrict feedback nonlinear systems with time-varying full-state constraints. First, we construct a novel exponentially decaying nonlinear mapping to map the constrained system states to new system states without constraints. Instead of the traditional barrier Lyapunov function methods, the feasible conditions which require the virtual control signals satisfying the constraint requirements are removed. By employing the Nussbaum design method to eliminate the effect of unknown control gains, the general assumption about the signs of the unknown control gains is relaxed. Then, the nonstrict feedback form of the system can be pulled back to the strict feedback form through the basic properties of radial basis function NNs. Simultaneously, the intermediate control signals and the desired controller are constructed by the backstepping process and the Nussbaum design method. The designed controller can ensure that all signals in the whole closed-loop system are bounded without the violation of the constraints and hold the asymptotic tracking performance. In the end, a practical example about a brush dc motor driving a one-link robot manipulator is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design scheme.

A fellow-following-principle based group model and its application to fish school analysis

Group models based on simple rules are viewed as a bridge to clarifying animal group movements. The more similar a model to real-world observations, the closer it is to the essence of such movements. Inspired by the fish school, this study suggests a principle called fellow-following for group movements. More specifically, a simple-rules-based model was proposed and extended into a set of concrete rules, and two- and three-dimensional group models were established. The model results are intuitively similar to the fish school, and when the group size increases, the milling phase of both the model and fish school tends from unstable to stable. Further, we proposed a novel order parameter and a similarity measurement framework for group structures. The proposed model indicates the intuition similarity, consistency of dynamic characteristics, and static structure similarity with fish schools, which suggests that the principle of fellow-following may reveal the essence of fish school movements. Our work suggests a different approach for the self-organized formation of a swarm robotic system based on local information.

Object Reconstruction Based on Attentive Recurrent Network from Single and Multiple Images

The application of traditional 3D reconstruction methods such as structure-from-motion and simultaneous localization and mapping are typically limited by illumination conditions, surface textures, and wide baseline viewpoints in the field of robotics. To solve this problem, many researchers have applied learning-based methods with convolutional neural network architectures. However, simply utilizing convolutional neural networks without taking other measures into account is computationally intensive, and the results are not satisfying. In this study, to obtain the most informative images for reconstruction, we introduce a residual block to a 2D encoder for improved feature extraction, and propose an attentive latent unit that makes it possible to select the most informative image being fed into the network rather than choosing one at random. The recurrent visual attentive network is injected into the auto-encoder network using reinforcement learning. The recurrent visual attentive network pays more attention to useful images, and the agent will quickly predict the 3D volume. This model is evaluated based on both single- and multi-view reconstructions. The experiment results show that the recurrent visual attentive network increases prediction performance in a way that is superior to other alternative methods, and our model has desirable capacity for generalization.

Flat objects with negligible thicknesses like books and disks are challenging to be grasped by the robot because of the width limit of the robot's gripper, especially when they are in cluttered environments. Pre-grasp manipulation is conducive to rearranging objects on the table and moving the flat objects to the table edge, making them graspable. In this paper, we formulate this task as Parameterized Action Markov Decision Process, and a novel method based on deep reinforcement learning is proposed to address this problem by introducing sliding primitives as actions. A weight-sharing policy network is utilized to predict the sliding primitive's parameters for each object, and a Q-network is adopted to select the acted object among all the candidates on the table. Meanwhile, via integrating a curriculum learning scheme, our method can be scaled to cluttered environments with more objects. In both simulation and real-world experiments, our method surpasses the existing methods and achieves pre-grasp manipulation with higher task success rates and fewer action steps. Without fine-tuning, it can be generalized to novel shapes and household objects with more than 85% success rates in the real world. Safety-critical scenarios are infrequent in natural driving environments but hold significant importance for the training and testing of autonomous driving systems. The prevailing approach involves generating safety-critical scenarios automatically in simulation by introducing adversarial adjustments to natural environments. These adjustments are often tailored to specific tested systems, thereby disregarding their transferability across different systems. In this paper, we propose AdvDiffuser, an adversarial framework for generating safety-critical driving scenarios through guided diffusion. By incorporating a diffusion model to capture plausible collective behaviors of background vehicles and a lightweight guide model to effectively handle adversarial scenarios, AdvDiffuser facilitates transferability. Experimental results on the nuScenes dataset demonstrate that AdvDiffuser, trained on offline driving logs, can be applied to various tested systems with minimal warm-up episode data and outperform other existing methods in terms of realism, diversity, and adversarial performance.

The surge in urban population density in China has underscored the vital role of high-speed rail and subway systems in urban transit. Comprehensive transportation hubs, notably high-speed rail passenger terminals, have emerged as linchpins for seamless multimodal transit both within and beyond urban centers. China's railway sector vigorously champions the innovative concept of "station-city integration" and has articulated a forward-looking "16-word policy" for modern railway stations: "Seamless integration, environmental friendliness, economic viability, and intelligent accessibility". The judicious allocation of resources and the augmentation of coordination and control capabilities within comprehensive transportation hubs are imperative for the harmonious evolution of urban transit. The implementation of intelligent control systems for transportation hubs has emerged as a pivotal area of research. This study delves into the framework and critical technologies for high-speed railway comprehensive transport hubs, encompassing various components and their intricate interplay, including transport modalities, infrastructure, travelers, environmental factors, and information systems, thus forming a prototypical cyber-physical-social system. Addressing the prevalent and pressing imperative for the advancement of "station-city integration" high-speed railway comprehensive transport hubs, this research endeavor aims to surmount bottleneck challenges and refine the oversight of passenger flows at high-speed rail terminals. The findings hold noteworthy theoretical import and portend promising practical applications.

This paper focuses on the turning maneuverability of a bionic gliding robotic dolphin. Inspired by natural dolphin's turning styles, a novel gliding robotic dolphin with a special yaw joint is developed to purse high turning maneuverability. Thus, the robot can realize several turning patterns based on its flippers, yaw joint and dolphin-like dorsal-abdominal undulating mechanism. Considering both dolphin-like mode and gliding mode, a dynamic model is constructed to further analyze the turning performance through adopting the Newton-Euler method. Thereafter, five turning patterns are selected to explore how the special mechanism as well as some key parameters affect the turning performance of the robotic dolphin. The simulation results reveal that every pattern can successfully and effectively realize turning motions, furthermore, appropriate turning pattern as well as control parameters can contribute to high maneuverability, i.e., small turning radius and high turning velocity, which provides valuable guidance for future control and application of the bionic gliding robotic dolphin.

—The precise characterization and modeling of Cyber-Physical-Social systems (CPSS) requires more comprehensive and accurate data, which imposes heightened demands on intelligent sensing capabilities. To address this issue, Crowdsensing Intelligence (CSI) has been proposed to collect data from CPSS by harnessing the collective intelligence of a diverse workforce. Our first and second Distributed/Decentralized Hybrid Workshop on Crowdsensing Intelligence (DHW-CSI) have focused on principles and high-level processes of organizing and operating CSI, as well as the participants, methods, and stages involved in CSI. This letter reports the outcomes of the latest DHW-CSI, focusing on Autonomous Crowdsensing (ACS) enabled by a range of technologies such as decentralized autonomous organizations and operations, large language models, and human-oriented operating systems. Specifically, we explain what ACS is and explore its distinctive features in comparison to traditional crowdsensing. Despite advancements in diagnostic methods and therapeutic strategies, the mortality rate of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains as high as its incidence rate. Most liver cancers are detected in the advanced stages, when treatment options are limited. Small HCC is difficult to diagnose and is often overlooked by current imaging methods because of the complexity of the liver environment, especially in cirrhotic livers. In the present study, we developed a tumor "cruise missile", mesoporous Fe3O4-containing glucose oxidase-conjugated GPC3 peptide nanoparticles (FGP NPs). It was designed to enhance the accuracy of small HCC visualization to 85.7% using combined ultrasound/photoacoustic imaging in complex liver environment, which facilitated sequential catalytic targeted therapy for small HCC. In a carcinogen-induced mouse HCC model, FGP NPs could be used to accurately diagnose HCC in a liver cirrhosis background as well as distinguish HCC nodules from other abnormal liver nodules, such as cirrhosis nodules and necrotic nodules, by dynamic contrast-enhanced photoacoustic imaging. In a mouse xenograft HCC model, highly reactive oxygen species were formed by sequential catalytic reactions, which promoted HCC cell apoptosis, significantly increasing the survival of the model mice. The present study provides a basis for the precise detection and elimination of small HCCs in the complex liver environment.
