Multiple access technologies are critical technologies in every communication era. As a promising paradigm for next-generation mobile communication, semantic communication has explored new semantic information space resources. Based on the characteristic that different semantic models cannot understand semantic information generated by other models, we propose the concept of semantic orthogonal signals. Combining the advantages of Deep joint source and channel coding (DeepJSCC), an Orthogonal-Model Division Multiple Access (O-MDMA) technology that can be applied to any semantic model is proposed. The essence of O-MDMA is to migrate the anti-interference capability of DeepJSCC to the multi-user capacity. Compared with Non-Orthgonal Multiple Access (NOMA) and Model Division Multiple Access (MDMA) technologies, O-MDMA has better performance. The O-MDMA can be integrated with NOMA, and experimental results show that the combined technique can save more bandwidth.

Based on Lagrange interpolation formula and the post-verification mechanism, we show how to construct a verifiable quantum (k,n) threshold secret key sharing scheme. Compared with the previous secret sharing protocols, ours has the merits: (i) it can resist the fraud of the dealer who generates and distributes fake shares among the participants during the secret distribution phase;Most importantly, (ii) It can check the cheating of the dishonest participant who provides a false share during the secret reconstruction phase such that the authorized group cannot recover the correct secret.

Up to today, there are around 400 million diabetics in the world. In China, there are more than 100 million diabetics. How to help them track and manage real-time glucose level is significant to control diabetic progression. As well known, the glucose level is directly related with food, while the conventional tracking glucose is depending invasive or minimally invasive methods. This phenomenon causes many problems to diabetics for food selection and glucose monitoring. To solve this challenge, we are motivated to propose a postprandial glucose prediction model, which can connect food selection and diabetic self-management seamlessly, without involving invasive glucose monitoring. In this paper, we first build up a glucose tracking system based on Android platform. And then, we conceive a postprandial glucose prediction model based on machine learning methods, in which sample data from diabetics' diet are collected and analyzed for predicting a postprandial glucose level of a user. To verify our model, we compared the prediction results with our clinical tests by using traditional glucose monitoring methods. In order to extract a reliable glucose prediction model, two kinds of linear regression algorithms are adopted, which confidence margin is bounded within 20% that matching with the FDA standard. Our experiment results show that this prediction-based glucose tracking system is helpful to diabetics, and can be used as an auxiliary tool to control their glucose and diet.

Knowledge-aware dialogue generation aims to generate informative and meaningful responses with external knowledge. Existing works are still insufficient to encode retrieved knowledge regardless of the dialogue context, which probably leads to the introduction of irrelevant information. In this paper, we propose a dialogue generation model named CKFS-DG, which filters out context-irrelevant and off-topic knowledge to reduce the influence of redundant knowledge. Specifically, we design a knowledge-enriched encoder and a topic fact predictor to improve the quality of fusion knowledge. For achieve the knowledge-enriched encoder, we put forward a context-knowledge attention mechanism to dynamically filter out irrelevant knowledge conditioned on context. For the topic fact predictor, we utilize the probability distribution on retrieved facts to retain on-topic knowledge. The experimental results on English Reddit and Chinese Weibo dataset demonstrate that CKFS-DG outperforms the state-of-the-art neural generative methods in knowledge utilization, and CKFS-DG could reduce the influence of irrelevant knowledge to generate reasonable responses.

With the rapid development of electronic products, the high-speed computing and the personal mobile terminal all make greater demands the on-chip performance. Due to the limited bandwidth, the low communication efficiency and the bad scalability, the Network on Chip (NoC) has been unable to satisfy the requirements of the applications above. More recently, the Optical NoC (ONoC) is introduced as an efficient solution. Compared with NoC, ONoC has the higher bandwidth, the lower power consumption and the shorter latency. With the increasing number of IP cores on a single chip, the study of 3-Dimensional (3D) ONoC has already entered the preliminary stage. Thus in this paper, we design a new 3D ONoC topology structure called 3D X-Torus. Next, we design a bidirectional optical router and a vertical optical router for our topology. Finally, we propose the corresponding routing algorithm. Our simulation results demonstrate the performances of our 3D ONoC topology, optical router and routing algorithm.

The edge computing-based 5G networks have the advantages in efficiently offloading the large-scale Internet traffic, which is considered to be a promising architecture to alleviate the conflict between transmission performance and quality of experience (QoE). However, due to the unreliability of service providers and the mutual interference between wireless channels in 5G networks, it is still difficult for existing solutions to provide satisfactory multimedia services for mobile users. In response to these crucial challenges, this paper proposes a reliable and efficient multimedia service optimization framework named "REMSO" hereby, including a two-stage joint optimization procedure. Specifically, a reliable video service mechanism is first constructed to help the mobile users distinguish the credible and economic service BSs. Afterwards, an efficient wireless resource allocation strategy is established to achieve low latency and energy efficient video service optimization. In particular, the Stackelberg and potential game models are leveraged to achieve these optimization objectives. Finally, extensive simulations corroborate that our REMSO framework can deliver prominent performance advantages in terms of the reliability and efficiency when comparing with the state-of-the-art solutions.

In order to mitigate the mismatch of granularities between fixed grid and client traffic demand, the elastic optical network (EON) was proposed by using orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). Bandwidth variable (BV)-transponders consume more fixed power compared with ordinary ones, which will lead to a power-thirsty EON if we do not take any effective measures. Thus the green grooming was proposed for EONs. However, an adaptive multilevel modulation was neglected in the works focusing on green grooming. In this paper, we design a modulation adaptive grooming with guaranteeing transmission performances in green EONs. The simulation results demonstrate that the adaptive multilevel modulation plays a more important role on saving spectrum compared with improving power efficiency for the green grooming in EONs.

In cyber situation awareness, top-down simulation for group behaviors of attacks are unsupported to simulate unknown cliques of attackers. To solve this issue, we believe that hierarchical group behaviors as an abstract data type (ADT) can be agglomerated by other behavior types, such as individual and subgroup behaviors with a bottom-up way. In this paper, we propose a hierarchical clustering algorithm according to theory of ADTs. Specifically, behavioral algebra acts as a formalization approach of hierarchical relationship. Because this proposed algorithm reduces the time complexity of existing hierarchical clustering, it can implement agglomeration of group behaviors for simulation.
