Unifying Fixed Time and Prescribed Time Control for Strict-Feedback Nonlinear systems

This paper investigates the prescribed-time tracking control problem for a class of multi-input multi-output(MIMO)nonlinear strict-feedback systems subject to non-vanishing uncertainties. The inherent unmatched and non-vanishing uncertainties make the prescribed-time control problem become much more nontrivial. The solution to address the challenges mentioned above involves incorporating a prescribed-time filter, as opposed to a finite-time filter, and formulating a prescribed-time Lyapunov stability lemma(Lemma 5). The prescribed-time Lyapunov stability lemma is based on time axis shifting time-varying yet bounded gain, which establishes a novel link between the fixed-time and prescribed-time control method. This allows the restriction condition that the time-varying gain function must satisfy as imposed in most exist prescribed-time control works to be removed. Under the proposed control method, the desire trajectory is ensured to closely track the output of the system in prescribed time. The effectiveness of the theoretical results are verified through numerical simulation.

This article is based on the physical field model with multiple physical field mechanisms, which enables the digital twin model to accurately simulate the behavior of physical objects. The driving model based on the reduced order algorithm enables the digital twin model to have good interaction and exploration of physical object mechanisms while ensuring computational accuracy. The visualization model enables the digital twin model to display the internal structure and state of physical objects in a detailed and intuitive manner. Grid data is the finite element mesh parameters obtained by finite element meshing of the bushing geometric model. Each node in the grid data not only participates in the calculation of the multi physical field of the valve side bushing, but also interfaces with the visualization model as the rendering basis for the visualization of valve side bushing. Therefore, constructing grid data requires grid node data and grid rendering data. The grid node data is stored in NAS (BDF) file format, and the grid rendering data is stored in STL file format. © 2025 SPIE.

Efficient algorithms are an important representation and fundamental prerequisite for the interactive capability of digital twin models. The internal influencing factors and evolution characteristics of the ultra-high pressure valve side casing are complex, resulting in a huge amount of calculation for the twin model. The existing literature lacks a fast calculation method to meet the requirements of fast calculation. The application of classical intrinsic orthogonal decomposition (POD), snapshot POD, and singular value decomposition (SVD) POD to the digital twin reduction of the valve side casing has the problem of low efficiency and cannot meet the fast calculation needs of complex parameters in the digital twin model of the valve side casing. This article proposes the spatiotemporal non-uniform POD reduction algorithm suitable for the digital twin model of ultra-high pressure valve side casing. It decomposes into different regions in space and uses non-uniform sampling in time, which can effectively balance the accuracy and timeliness of the calculation of the digital twin model of ultra-high pressure valve side bushing. When calculating model at 0 seconds and 2.5 seconds, the errors of the spatiotemporal heterogeneity POD reduction calculation results were 0.006% and 0.002%, respectively, indicating that the reduction calculation results can meet the accuracy requirements;The calculation time has been reduced from the 2min12s and 3min45s to 6.78s and 9.61s, both of which have decreased by about 95%, significantly improving the calculation efficiency. © 2025 SPIE.

Compared with simulation technology, the prominent feature of digital twin technology is its complex interaction ability with the external information, which enables the digital twin function of the physical objects through complex interaction. Therefore, a complete digital twin system is formed, and the digital twin model can truly and effectively play its role. To achieve this, it is necessary to establish data interfaces that effectively connect with external information, physical field calculations, the visual displays, etc., to realize the system integration of digital twin models and verify their engineering feasibility. This article analyzes the functional requirements of the system integration, designs its functional framework, constructs functional modules of physical hardware layer, twin model layer, and human-computer interaction layer, and realizes the integration of valve side bushing digital twin model system with data exchange capability, data transmission capability, and coordination between various functional modules. Among generated parameters, E-field strength inside 220kV reduced ratio bushing is controlled within 3kV/mm, and the composite insulator umbrella skirt is installed outside the core. Total length of the bushing is 2465mm, the length of the bushing tail is 810mm, and the length of the hollow composite insulator is 1250mm. © 2025 SPIE.

Analyzing the impact of information attacks on the stability of islanded microgrids in distribution networks enables effective countermeasures, enhancing power supply reliability. Current approaches lack integration of information attacks with actual grid operation control and overlook the influence of Distributed Generation on system stability. Moreover, flexible and reliable measures to address islanding faults resulting from different information attacks are lacking. This study explores the Cyber-Physical systems of islanded microgrids, proposing their structure in islanded operation. It discusses the impact of different attack targets and types on loads and DG, constructing an attack model for FDIA. The study also examines the interrelations within the DG system under this attack model. Lastly, an innovative evaluation method for islanded system resilience to information attacks is presented. It judges the impact on Distributed Generation, load distribution, and circuit breaker status post-attack, quantifying the effects through DG, load, and circuit breaker matrices. If the impact remains below a set threshold, the attack's effects are deemed minor, obviating immediate island removal. This method enhances microgrid adaptability and recovery, offering new theoretical support and practical guidance for safe and stable microgrid operation. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. According to wind power output curve, it can be seen that due to the significant influence of climate on wind power output, there is high degree of randomness and fluctuation in output, and there is no obvious characteristic pattern. From the historical wind power output curve of typical days during the peak season, it can be seen that in most years, wind power output is relatively high from 21:00 to 2:00 in the evening and relatively low from 14:00 to 17:00 in the afternoon. the wind power output shows the certain characteristic pattern: the cumulative wind power output is higher from 21:00 to 2:00 in the evening, and relatively lower from 14:00 to 17:00 in the *** 1500MW distributed photovoltaics were connected to the Chenjiaqiao Yuping area in the Chongqing load center area. Three permanent N-1 and N-2 fault calculations were conducted on the 500KV AC line in Chongqing, and it was found that the power grid could maintain stable operation. After the fault, the voltage of each 500kV bus was restored to 0.9p.u. There was no disconnection of distributed power sources in the Chenjiaqiao Yuping area. Three permanent N-1 and N-2 fault calculations were conducted on each 220kV AC line within the Chenjiaqiao Yuping area power grid, and it was found that the power grid could maintain stable operation. After the fault, the voltage of each 220kV bus in the Chenjiaqiao Yuping area was restored to 0.9p.u., there was no disconnection of distributed power sources. The paper provides control modes, open-loop control and closed-loop PI control, which is used for simulation analysis of frequency regulation in wind farms. © 2025 SPIE.

The transient electromagnetic method (TEM) is widely used in geophysical exploration. In TEM data interpretation, nonlinear inversion plays an important role. However, traditional TEM nonlinear inversion adopts the OCCAM imaging method, which merely presents the approximate shape of the stratum model, with poor inversion accuracy and much iteration time. To solve the above problems, a novel nonlinear inversion approach based on extreme learning machine (ELM) is proposed in this paper. The ELM is required to establish the input–output mapping relationship of the inversion network only once through the analytical method, which is different from the traditional neural network method that demands iterative gradient learning and is prone to fall into the local optimum. Moreover, the ELM inversion network by randomly assigning the hidden layer parameters is capable of mapping the observed TEM data and quickly producing resistivity images, which avoids time-consuming iteration and inversion calculations. The presented approach is applied to both synthetic and field examples. The results show that compared with the traditional nonlinear inversion algorithms (BP and OCCAM), the proposed method achieves better inversion accuracy and significantly reduces the calculation time, which verifies the effectiveness of the ELM algorithm for TEM data interpretation. The power transformer is the most commonly used equipment in the power system, and winding deformation is one of the most frequent transformer faults. The short-circuit impedance method based on ΔU–I to construct the Lissajous figures is a newly proposed winding deformation detection method in recent years, but there are still problems such as difficulty in detecting the small deformation of the winding, and it is difficult to distinguish between different types of faults. In this paper, on the basis of the existing ΔU–I constructing Lissajous figures, a winding deformation detection method based on the least-squares fitting Lissajous track coefficient identification is proposed, which can effectively detect the winding deformation and determine the degree and type of faults. Firstly, the primary side current and voltage difference are used to construct the Lissajous figures, and the lower half of the Lissajous trajectory is excised to change the trajectory into a single-valued function;then the least-squares method is used for fitting, and the identification of winding deformation is carried out based on the coefficients of the power series of the fitted coefficients. The research results show that the method can effectively identify the small deformation of the winding and its degree of deformation, and distinguish the amplitude deformation and axial deformation, which has a certain engineering value. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

The corrosion and activation mechanism of thiophenic sulfides in the oil-paper insulation

The corrosive sulfides in the insulating oil have been confirmed to induce insulation faults, thereby the corrosive sulfides can be removed during the refining process of oil to overcome the corrosion threat. Some inactive sulfides are retained to improve the oxidation stability of oil, mainly including thiophenic sulfides. However, the activation of thiophenic sulfides under the operating conditions and whether it causes corrosion of copper winding remain unclear. Therefore, this paper focuses on the reaction mechanism of copper winding corrosion induced by the pyrolysis of thiophenic sulfides in oil from the perspective of microscopic reaction mechanism, mainly including the analysis of thermal decomposition products of thiophenic sulfides, the activation energy of thiophenic sulfides on varied heating rates, the molecular dynamics simulation of thiophenic sulfides degradation and the thermal ageing verification test. The results indicate that the pyrolysis products of thiophenic sulfides consist of sulfur-containing micromolecules and inorganic products, such as hydrogen sulfide and its ion (H2S, HS-), elemental sulfur (S, S2), and hydrogen and its ion (H2, H+), etc. Thiophene has the lowest activation energy, thereby it is the most prone to pyrolysis, followed by benzothiophene and dibenzothiophene. The continuous energy accumulation results in the decomposition of thiophenic sulfides due to long-term thermal action and generate low molecular corrosive sulfides, further intensifying the oil corrosivity, and leading to the corrosion of oil-paper insulation. © 1994-2012 IEEE.
