The combined control of variable speed and variable displacement is a new type of volume control with high efficiency and fast response. However, due to the inherent nonlinearity of multiplication, it brings certain difficulties to the control. The electric double-variable pump[1] is a dual-input single-output system, and it is a nonlinear system[2]. It is necessary to linearize the system or use a nonlinear control method to control and solve the control problem of the system. In this paper, an intelligent control rule is proposed for the nonlinear problem of double input and single output. Through backstepping design[3], the nonlinear system is transformed into multiple linear subsystems. Then the original system is turned into two independent subsystems with single input and single output, which are controlled separately. The co-simulation platform based on AMESIM and Simulink[4] has been verified and compared with a single PID control algorithm to simulate the step response and sinusoidal tracking performance of the system. The results show that the response speed of the system has been greatly improved. © 2023 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

As robotic technologies advance, robotic arm manipulation tasks in complex environments become increasingly important. This paper presents a new collaborative pushing and grasping strategy to address two major challenges robotic arms encounter in complex environments: invisibility and tight enclosure of target objects. We propose a generator-evaluator network architecture based on multiple action primitives, incorporating hierarchical reinforcement learning and Double DQN techniques to optimize the operational efficiency of the robotic arm. By introducing a new action primitive to prioritize pushing operations around the topmost objects in space, our approach effectively reveals and locates obscured target objects. Additionally, utilizing the Spatial Correlation Test (SCT), our method explores all possible collision-free operational positions in the action space, selecting the optimal position from among them. Experimental results demonstrate that our approach achieves high efficiency and success rates in scenarios with randomly distributed objects, objects tightly enclosed by others, and invisible objects. This strategy enhances the speed and accuracy of tasks and improves the robot’s adaptability to complex environments. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Vehicle platoon is one of the concrete manifestations of multi-vehicle cooperative control and intelligent transportation. However, the velocity perturbation in the driving process will bring about stability and safety problems. The connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs) can obtain the motion status of the lead vehicle in real time and respond to it in time, which is of far-reaching significance to platoon control. Based on this, this paper focuses on the longitudinal driving strategy of connected autonomous vehicle platoons. Specifically, we provide a discrete double-integral model controller for each vehicle in a generic scenario, and the controller performs acceleration and deceleration control at each timeslot according to the state of the vehicle in front and its own state. Simulation experiments are designed by varying the size of the platoon and the number of connected autonomous vehicles. The experimental results show that the introduction of connected autonomous vehicles can effectively suppress the platoon velocity perturbation, increase the stability of the platoon driving, and significantly reduce the fuel consumption at the same time. © 2023 IEEE.

The notable success of large language models (LLMs) has sparked an upsurge in building language agents to complete various complex tasks. We present AMOR, an agent framework based on open-source LLMs, which reasons with external knowledge bases and adapts to specific domains through human supervision to the reasoning process. AMOR builds reasoning logic over a finite state machine (FSM) that solves problems through autonomous executions and transitions over disentangled modules. This allows humans to provide direct feedback to the individual modules, and thus naturally forms process supervision. Based on this reasoning and feedback framework, we develop AMOR through two-stage fine-tuning: warm-up and adaptation. The former fine-tunes the LLM with examples automatically constructed from various public datasets, enabling AMOR to generalize across different knowledge environments, while the latter tailors AMOR to specific domains using process feedback. Extensive experiments across multiple domains demonstrate the advantage of AMOR to strong baselines, thanks to its FSM-based reasoning and process feedback mechanism. The inter-class similarity of facial expressions is one of the key challenges in Facial Expression Recognition(FER).In this manuscript,a Latent Facial Action Units Network(LAUNet) is proposed for the problem of inter-class similarity of facial expressions in *** proposed method recognizes subtle differences between facial expressions by learning Latent Facial Action Units Features(LAUFs).Specifically,LAUNet is composed of two parts:the Latent Facial Action Units Features Extraction Network(LEN) and the Latent Facial Action Units Selection Network(LSN).Firstly,LEN extracts LAUFs from the feature map of the backbone using the spatial attention ***,taking advantage of the channel attention mechanism,LSN captures the latent relationships between features from LAUFs to select effective features for *** are performed on the dataset after removing the invalid data of non-face images from the original FER2013 *** with some previous state-of-the-art methods,LAUNet achieves the highest accuracy rate of 71.31%.Depending on the backbone,LAUNet can improve the accuracy by up to 5.46% compared to the original architecture of the backbone.

Language models have achieved unprecedented success in natural language processing tasks and have recently been adapted for biological sequences. However, GPUs still encounter significant performance bottlenecks when running BERT-style natural language models. Moreover, due to the vastly greater number of tokens in protein sequences compared to human languages (as illustrated in Figure 1), directly transferring language models from human languages to proteins results in significant changes in runtime behavior. Consequently, optimizations designed for short-input BERT models are less effective for protein language *** this paper, we propose a novel GPU-based cross-layer optimization strategy. From an architectural perspective, our approach leverages intra- and inter-operator parallelism, multilevel data computation and warp parallelism to fully utilize GPU features. From an algorithmic perspective, we address the issue of varying lengths in protein input sequences and reduce memory overhead through padding removal. Experimental results demonstrate that ProXplore achieves a 1.8× increase in inference speed on the TAPE benchmark without a significant loss in prediction accuracy. This improvement effectively overcomes performance bottlenecks and provides substantial benefits for protein sequence analysis and other bioinformatics applications. © 2024 IEEE.

A Multimodal Emotion Perception model with Audio and Visual modalities(MEP-AV) is proposed to detect the individual emotions in public *** framework of MEP-AV model consists of four parts,i.e.,data collection module,audio expression analysis module,visual expression analysis module and multimodal fusion *** order to ensure that the emotion perception results meet the requirement of short-term continuity,a Context-Aware Decision-Level Fusion(CADLF) model is proposed and applied in multimodal fusion *** CADLF model estimates the affective status by using context information of multimodal *** short-term continuity is considered to improve the accuracy of the emotion perception *** experiment results evaluated by various metrics demonstrate that the performance of the multimodal structure is improved compared with that of unimodal emotion *** MEP-AV model using multimodal fusion algorithm provides the accuracies of70.89% and 77.07% in valence and arousal *** F1-scores reaches 70.2% and 75.6% respectively,indicating the boost performance on emotion perception.
