Ultra Reliable Load-Aware Connection Management(LACM)Algorithm in WIA-FA Systems

The increasing demand for industrial automation and intelligence has put forward higher requirements for the reliability of industrial wireless communication *** an international standard based on 802.11,Wireless networks for Industrial Automation-Factory Automation(WIA-FA)greatly improves the reliability in factory automation scenarios by Time Division Multiple Access(TDMA).However,in ultra-dense WIA-FA networks with mobile users,the basic connection management mechanism is *** of the handover and resource management algorithms are all based on frequency division multiplexing,not suitable for the TDMA in the WIA-FA ***,we propose Load-aware Connection Management(LACM)algorithm to adjust the linkage and balance the load of access devices to avoid blocking and improve the reliability of the *** then we simulate the algorithm to find the optimal settings of the *** comparing with other existing algorithms,the result of the simulation proves that LACM is more efficient in reliability and maintains high reliability of more than 99.8%even in the ultra-dense moving scenario with 1500 field ***,this algorithm ensures that only a few signaling exchanges are required to ensure load bal-ancing,which is no more than 5 times,and less than half of the best state-of-the-art algorithm.

To meet the requirements of specifications,intelligent optimization of steel bar blanking can improve resource utilization and promote the intelligent development of sustainable *** one of the most important building materials in construction engineering,reinforcing bars(rebar)account for more than 30%of the cost in civil engineering.A significant amount of cutting waste is generated during the construction *** cutting waste increases construction costs and generates a considerable amount of CO_(2)*** study aimed to develop an optimization algorithm for steel bar blanking that can be used in the intelligent optimization of steel bar engineering to realize sustainable *** the proposed algorithm,the integer linear programming algorithm was applied to solve the *** was combined with the statistical method,a greedy strategy was introduced,and a method for determining the dynamic critical threshold was developed to ensure the accuracy of large-scale data *** proposed algorithm was verified through a case study;the results confirmed that the rebar loss rate of the proposed method was reduced by 9.124%compared with that of traditional distributed processing of steel bars,reducing CO_(2)emissions and saving construction *** the scale of a project increases,the calculation quality of the optimization algorithmfor steel bar blanking proposed also increases,while maintaining high calculation *** the results of this study are applied in practice,they can be used as a sustainable foundation for building informatization and intelligent development.

Nowadays, the scale of new city construction and old city reconstruction in big cities is unprecedented. The load capacity and structural durability of shield tunnel are always influenced by exterior workings, especially for the situation of tunnel lining breakage or puncture. And then, the structural safety and normal operation of shield tunnel will be seriously influenced correspondingly. Based on the operating metro tunnel which was punctured by drilling machine accidentally, the stress characteristics of tunnel lining under normal earth pressure are firstly analyzed, then the relevant tension and compression regions of tunnel lining are deeply analyzed and made clear. The specific influences on lining capacity with little range of damage are explained, the advantages and disadvantages of lining repair methods in common use are made clear, and the basic principles of lining repair are also put forward. As for large range of lining damage, the newly built shaft for structure repair is put forward, and the stress characteristics and corresponding safety situation evolution of lining during the whole stage are made clear, from lining damage, to shaft excavation, to structure repair, and to shaft backfilling. The load conversion structure with sharp top and archlike bottom is adopted which can obviously reduce all earth pressure while shaft backfilling. And the working shaft based on the combination of transverse passage and conventional shaft is also proposed to adapt environment requirements. This paper can lead a reference for similar project in future. © 2024 The Author(s).

This paper presents a miniaturized wideband high-gain microstrip end-fire antenna specifically designed for 5G-R communication *** antenna structure comprises a microstrip folded dipole resonator and end-fire directing *** employing Intercalated Coupling Structures(ICS)between the folded dipole resonator and the ground plane,the resonant frequency of the antenna is shifted to lower frequencies,thereby significantly enhancing the operational ***,the inclusion of three end-fire directing units positioned in front of the folded dipole oscillator substantially improves the antenna's end-fire *** designed antenna exhibits a relative impedance bandwidth of 46%(ranging from 1.36 to 2.18 GHz),with a peak gain of 7.33 dBi at the 2100 MHz 5G-R frequency *** overall dimensions of the antenna are 0.31λ_(L)×0.39λ_(L)×0.008λ_(L),whereλ_(L)denotes the wavelength at the lowest *** proposed antenna demonstrates a broad operational bandwidth,rendering it suitable for 5G-R mobile communications.

Automatic modulation recognition (AMR) is a key technology in the field of cognitive radio. To improve the performance, a new model for AMR, which incorporates an attention mechanism to extract the important features of the signal more effectively, is proposed in this paper. The simulation results show that our proposed method has a good recognition performance. In addition, our method can still achieve high accuracy, even if only a few samples are provided as the training set for training. We also visualize the output features of the model and show the positive effect of the attention mechanism on signal modulation category identification. © 2022 IEEE.

Effects of wheel diameter difference on lateral stability of motor elastic frame Suspension bogie

Wheel diameter difference can exacerbate the instability of bogie, and motor elastic frame Suspension structure can effectively improve its stability. Here, to investigate the relation between wheel diameter difference and lateral stability of motor elastic frame Suspension bogie, the wheel-rail nonlinear contact model and the lateral dynamic model of motor elastic frame Suspension bogie were established. Effects of wheel diameter difference and motor Suspension parameters on lateral stability of bogie were analyzed with the above models, and Hopf bifurcation characteristics of wheelsets under different wheel-rail contacts were studied. The study results showed that under in- phase wheel diameter difference, the stability of bogie System exhibits a trend of firstly increasing and then decreasing with increase in motor lateral shift frequency, and the optimal frequency is about 3 Hz;when Vibration frequency of motor is consistent with snake frequency of bogie and the former' s amplitude is lower than that of the latter, the Vibration reduction effect of motor frame Suspension is better, but the generation of wheel diameter difference can reduce this effect;when vehicle speed is too high and wheel diameter difference exceeds 1. 2 mm, wheel-rail can have wheel Hange contact to improve stability of bogie in short term, and exacerbate wheel-rail wear in long term;the larger the wheel diameter difference, the more the balance centerline of wheelset deviates from track centerline, and the more easily the wheelset System converts from subcritical Hopf bifurcation to supercritical Hopf bifurcation;the critical value of wheel diameter difference under in-phase wheel diameter difference condition is 0. 5 mm, and the critical value of wheel diameter difference of front wheelset is 1. 5 mm. © 2025 Chinese Vibration engineering Society. In order to meet the needs of railway operations in western China, the development of Chinese New Train Control System (CTCS-N) has been launched. To obtain complete and correct system requirements for CTCS-N early in system development, this paper applies the scenario-based requirements analysis method in software engineering to the requirements analysis of CTCS-N. This method takes the system operation scenario as input, analyzes the behaviors of the scenario based on ontology theory, and extracts the system requirements contained in the scenario based on SWRL (Semantic Web Rule Language) reasoning rules. Furthermore, the timed automata (TA) network model is constructed for requirement verification. Based on the design of the CTCS-N architecture, the above method is used to analyze the requirements based on the train integrity monitoring scenario as an example. The result shows that the method can effectively obtain the system requirements and provides a reference for the requirements development of CTCS-N. © 2022 SPIE.

In the construction technology of an earth pressure balance (EPB) shield, soil conditioning is an important technology. It is possible to condition the properties of excavation soil and improve the excavation efficiency by injecting suitable conditioners. Soil conditioning is more important in cohesionless stratum because the flow plasticity of this stratum is typically poor. The soil is conditioned by the interaction between the soil particles and the soil conditioners, the internal principles of which need to be investigated by microscopic tests. Based on the CT test, the changes in porosity after soil conditioning were analyzed, and it was revealed that soil conditioners can make pores form separate structures. Based on the SEM test, the mechanism for the reduction in porosity of the soil was obtained: the flakes formed by the conditioners replaced the original pores. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. Some direct-drive applications, such as robotic actuators and electric vehicle propulsion, demand efficient operation across a wide speed range and adaptable load capabilities. To address these requirements, this paper introduces a novel compound permanent magnet machine (PMM) featured with a compact equinumerous-slot-pole (ESP) structure. The proposed machine integrates a permanent magnet vernier machine (PMVM) and a permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM), combining the capabilities of both low-speed high-torque and high-speed efficient direct-drive. Meanwhile, the area of machine's high-efficiency zone (≥80%) is significantly expanded to over 83%. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) verifies the machine's basic electromagnetic performance, demonstrating its significant potential for emerging direct-drive applications. © 2024 IEEE.

The latest development trend of train control system is to realize autonomous control of trains through vehicle-ground and vehicle-vehicle wireless communication. In this paper, we propose a scheme to manage the communication information of the train, which is suitable for the onboard-centered train control system. This scheme explains the parts that the train and ground equipment are responsible for in the process of managing the train's communication information, and how they work in each scenario by describing their message interaction flow. The features of the scheme are distributed management and data self-recovery after equipment failure. Then, a time automaton model is established with the train communication information management process in the train registration scenario as the object, and the function of the scheme is verified by the UPPAAL tool. The verification results show that the designed scheme can complete the train communication information management function when the equipment works normally or a single ground equipment fails. © 2022 SPIE.
