With the development of cities, underground tunnels are more and more widely used, and the reinforced concrete in their walls can be used as the natural grounding body of the tunnels. However, underground tunnels have curved structures, multiple cross-sections and deep-buried structures, and the electrical conductivity of the concrete is different from that of the soil, etc., and the traditional analytical method has limitations in calculating the grounding resistance of the tunnels in these cases. In order to satisfy the needs of practical engineering, this paper adopts a numerical method based on the MoM numerical method to analyze the grounding system of underground tunnels with complex geometries and to calculate the grounding resistance of reinforced concrete systems in underground tunnels. In order to assess the difference between the analytical solution and the exact solution, the article introduces a correction factor to measure the ratio between the two. simulations are carried out for real cases, and the results show that the accuracy of the analytical solution can be improved by introducing the correction factor. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. The identification of load model parameters from practical measurement data has become an essential method to build load models for power system simulation,analysis and *** practical situations,the accuracy of the load model parameters identification results is impacted by data quality and measurement accuracy,which leads to the problem of *** this paper,an identifiability analysis methodology of load model parameters,by estimating the confidential intervals(CIs)of the parameters,is *** load model structure and the combined optimization and regression method to identify the parameters are first ***,the definition and analysis method of identifiability are *** CIs of the parameters are estimated through the profile likelihood method,based on which a practical identifiability index(PII)is defined to quantitatively evaluate ***,the effectiveness of the proposed analysis approach is validated by the case study results in a practical provincial power *** results show that the impact of various disturbance magnitudes,measurement errors and data length can all be reflected by the proposed ***,the proposed PII can provide guidance in data length selection in practical load model identification situations.

power electronic converters are widely applied in new power system. Converter transformers have a critical risk in safe and reliable operation due to the insulation ageing. At present, conventional transformer insulation monitoring methods are limited to low sensitivity, invasive sensors and sophisticated evaluation. The goal of this paper is to improve the performance of online insulation monitoring for converter transformers based on broadband frequency response. The significance of application promotion, the disadvantages of existing methods and the challenges from offline to online implementation are clarified. A novel technique based on inherent harmonics in voltage source converter system is investigated, which provides the prospect in improving the online monitoring performance with high reliability and non-invasiveness nature. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

By replacing multiple two-winding transformers with a multi-winding transformer (MWT) in the isolated DC-DC converter, it can reduce the volume and increase the power density. Due to magnetic coupling in MWT, power will flow between any two windings. The relationship between the leakage inductance of multi-winding, inductance of external inductors and transmission power is studied. The power balance condition about leakage inductance and external inductance is analyzed based on different cascaded DC-DC series-parallel conversion system. The leakage inductance characteristic with different winding arrangement of MWT is analyzed. By choosing and designing appropriate winding arrangement, it can increase the power density and achieve power balancing. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

In the new power system, the output of new energy power stations has strong volatility, which leads to huge deviation assessment expenditure. Therefore, based on the improved data preprocessing algorithm and deep learning algorithm, a day-ahead reporting strategy of wind power plants considering error prediction characteristics is proposed. Firstly, considering the historical real output and prediction error, the historical data is decomposed based on the complete noise-assisted ensemble empirical mode decomposition algorithm (CEEMDAN). Then, the components are introduced into the long short-term memory (LSTM) optimized by the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm (IPSO), and the components are reconstructed to obtain the original prediction curve and the error prediction curve. Finally, the empirical distribution function is used to revise the prediction error curve, and the original prediction curve and the error prediction curve are superimposed to obtain the final day-ahead report curve. The correctness and feasibility of the reporting strategy are verified by simulation analysis. © 2023 IEEE.

Under direct current (DC) operation conditions, local electric field in insulation layer will be distorted, leading to insulation failure. Since the conductivity of insulating materials generally corresponds positively with temperature, a temperature gradient will form inside the insulating material during cable operation, making the conductivity distribution uneven and causing the "electric field reversal" phenomenon in the cable insulation layer. The distribution of the electric field and temperature field of the polypropylene grafted as the cable insulation under the electric heating-coupling field is yet to be studied. Studies have proved that by grafting modification the insulating properties of materials can be improved. This paper studied the and conductivity characteristics of grafted polypropylene materials, and selected one type for more experiments to obtain the material's conductivity-temperature-electric field strength characteristic equation through data fitting. A model of a 100 kV DC cable was established in COMSOL, and simulation of the cable section’s electric heating-coupling field was performed, revealing the temperature and electric field distribution inside the insulation layer when the cable is rated, overloaded, or short-circuited. With more applications and larger transmission capacity of LCC-HVDC transmission systems, commutation failure has attracted more attention. In view of this problem, existing methods pay less attention to commutation failures caused by severe short-circuit faults on AC or DC side. Thus an auxiliary method is needed as a supplement. This paper develops a method for SFCLs to suppress commutation failure in HVDC transmission system. A strategy based on SFCLs is designed as an auxiliary method to mitigate commutation failures caused by severe short-circuit faults. The proposed method is based on the proposed module. The operating principles are presented. The performance of the proposed method is validated by simulation results in PSCAD. The simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively prevent the first commutation failure caused by severe short circuit fault. © 2023 IEEE.

In view of this problem, existing methods pay less attention to commutation failures caused by severe short-circuit faults on AC or DC side. In this paper a thyristor-controlled superconducting current limiting module is proposed based on resistive superconducting current limiting units. The operating principles are presented followed by detailed analysis for commutation under AC short-circuit faults and DC short-circuit faults. The performance of the proposed method is validated by simulation results in MATlab.Simulink. The simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively prevent the first commutation failure caused by severe short circuit fault. © 2023 IEEE.

Enhancing the electrical performance of silicone rubber (SiR) for cable accessories is noteworthy as they are almost the weakest parts of the cable system. Two types of voltage stabilizers were grafted onto the surface of nano-zirconia (ZrO2) particles, and the grafted nanoparticles were added to the SiR. Measurements such as breakdown strength, and conductivity were carried out to evaluate the electrical performance of SiR nanocomposites. The electrical performance measurement results indicated that the breakdown strength of the nanocomposite SiR improved while the conductance current was reduced. The trap distribution showed that the improvement of the electrical performance of the nanocomposite SiR is mainly due to the decrease of the shallow trap density or the increase of the deep trap density. © 2023 IEEE.

Static DC and PR are typical operation conditions of HVDC converter transformer bushing outlet device, moreover, the electrical parameters of RIP, transformer oil and OIP have the nonlinear relationship with E-field stress and temperature. Under the temperature gradient, the electrical parameters will modify the static DC and PR E-field distribution of the composite insulation. In order to simulate static DC and PR electric field of the composite insulation structure, this paper established the full model of the converter transformer outlet. Then, the structure parameters of converter transformer outlet have been optimized using combined RBF neural network and NSGA-II algorithm. Moreover, electric field verification calculation has been carried out under AC and PR conditions. The results show that under uniform temperature condition, E-field strength is larger than that under iso-thermal condition. The overshoot coefficient of the bushing end and barrier reach 65% and 45%, respectively. The study can provide reference for the design of outlet structure of the converter transformer. © 2023 IEEE.
