A multi-homed VPN architecture based on extended SOCKSv5 and TLS was proposed. The architecture employs a dynamic connection mechanism for multiple proxies in the end system,i n which the security-demanded transmission connections can switch smoothly among the multiple proxies by maint aining a coherent connection *** mechanism is transparent to application programs and can support th e building of *** the cooperation of some other security components,the mechanism guarantees the reso urce availab.lity and reliability of the end system against some attacks to the specific ports or hosts.

When the input signals are strongly correlated, the adaptive algorithm performance of Volterra filter deteriorates. Meanwhile, the correlativity of linear input signals of Volterra filter is different from that of nonlinear input signals of Volterra filter. So, a new variable step size NLMS algorithm based on decorrelation for second-order Volterra filter is proposed. In the new algorithm, the decorrelation is used in linear and nonlinear input signals of Volterra filter, respectively, and the different variable step factors are adopted. Simulation results of noise cancellation show that the correlativity of input noises has no fundamental impact on the proposed algorithm, whether it is strong or weak. And when the input noises are strongly correlated, the new algorithm still has a better noise cancellation performance.

information fusion is an effective way to solve the problem of the limited of energy and bandwidth for wireless sensor networks, a novel strategy of two-dimensional feature fusion is proposed in this paper. The feature vectors of multi-sensors are first combined into a two-dimensional feature vector matrix. Then Two-Dimensional Principal Component Analysis is generalized for feature extraction from two-dimensional feature vector matrix to achieve multi-sensors feature fusion. The experimental results on the real signals of ground targets indicate that the dimension of fusion features is effectively reduced and the classification accuracy is increased significantly under two-dimensional feature fusion. They also demonstrate that two-dimensional feature fusion is more effective than the traditional feature fusion. © 2009 by Binary information Press.

This paper introduces a new variational Gaussian filtering approach for estimating the state of a nonlinear dynamic system. We first assume that the predictive distribution of the state is Gaussian and derive an iterative method for updating the state posterior in the natural parameter space through KullbackLeibler divergence minimization. The obtained update rule is the same as that of the conjugate-computation variational inference technique in Bayesian learning. The derivation here is simpler and more insightful. We then impose a Wishart prior on the inverse of the state prediction covariance to take into account the impact of approximating the state predictive distribution using a Gaussian density on the state posterior estimation. The prediction covariance is identified jointly with the state using variational inference and the established state posterior update rule to achieve the desired Gaussian filtering. Simulation study examines the performance of the proposed filtering framework in target tracking based on bearing and range measurements. © 2024 ISIF.

The Mossformer model excels in speech separation but has not been effectively applied to music source separation. Music sources have complex characteristics and higher sampling rates, making separation tasks more challenging. We addressed a rarely explored task of separating piano concerto recordings into individual piano and orchestral tracks. This process involves intricate coordination between the piano and orchestra, creating highly complex audio signals in both time and frequency domains. Our main contributions include: (1) adapting the speech separation model for the novel task of piano concerto source separation, constructing and processing a specialized dataset.(2) introducing channel attention in the separation module to dynamically adjust feature focus based on instrument characteristics, enhancing key features. Experiments on the Piano Concerto Dataset (PCD) showed improved separation performance, with a 0.22dB average Signal-to-Distortion Ratio (SDR) increase over the baseline model.

As a highly developed region, Guangdong province has substantial industrial emissions. Its subtropical monsoon climate, characterized by abundant hydrothermal conditions, contributes to a substantial biomass potential. The adoption of potential biomass-based carbon dioxide removal (CDR) technologies, such as biochar, presents an opportunity to mitigate emissions and work towards carbon neutrality in the future. However, the current state of the land carbon balance and the CDR potential of biochar in Guangdong province remains unclear. We first calculated the land carbon balance based on inventory data. Then we estimated the CDR potential of biochar derived from agricultural residues, forestry residues, and bioenergy crops cultivated on marginal lands in Guangdong province using life cycle analysis (LCA). Results show that Guangdong province has not yet achieved carbon neutrality, with a net emission (carbon emissions remaining after offsetting by carbon sinks) of 925.63 Tg CO2e (CO2 equivalent, 1Tg = 106 t) in 2021. Emissions from energy consumption account for the highest proportion, contributing 83.8% of total emissions. In the highest biomass utilization scenario, the maximum CDR potential of biochar derived from all biomass types reaches 84.30 Tg CO2e yr-1, which could offset 9.11% of net carbon emissions in Guangdong province. Our findings provide crucial guidance for setting emission reduction targets and implementing effective mitigation strategies in Guangdong province under temperature warming. In order to optimize the orthogonal design of MIMO radar waveform, an improved algorithm based on niche genetic algorithm is proposed. The algorithm is able to eliminate individuals with similar structures in the population or data, maintain a certain distance between individuals, and effectively hold the diversity of them It thus eliminates the phenomenon of premature convergence, strengthens the global search ability of the algorithm, and improves its convergence speed. It is shown that the algorithm has both the advantages of overall search ability of genetic algorithm and the ability of the niche genetic algorithm to discover multiple optimal solutions. Simulation was given to show that the algorithm was cable to reduce the side-lobe of the auto-correlation function of the orthogonal polyphase code and the peak value of the cross-correlation function of the code with good performance of autocorrelation and cross-correlation obtained

In this paper, a method of Tomlinson-Harashima precoding (THP) combined with receive beamforming for the multi-user MIMO broadcast channel is proposed. When the base station and user terminals all have multiple antennas, each user's receiver maximizes the system sum rate with receive beamforming, and the base station use THP based on zero forcing criteria to cancel multiuser interferences (MUI). Simulation results show that the proposed method, THP-BF, has better BER performance than traditional THP and some linear precoding methods such as block diagonalization (BD) and zero forcing (ZF). The sum rate of ZF-THP at asymptotically high SNR is computed, and the computation results are consistent with simulation results. Simulation results reveal that ZF-THP has higher sum rate than linear precoding methods (such as ZF and BD) due to its more degrees of freedom of MIMO channels, and that THP-BF also has higher sum rate than traditional THP at low and moderate SNR.
