Online partial discharge monitoring for power equipments is useful to improve the capacity of the power supply. Main technology for PD testing is introduced in this paper. Advantages and disadvantages of pulse current, UHF, ultrasonic and TEV method are present. The status quo of online PD monitoring is analyzed, and the detection effect of online PD monitoring is not good. Opinions to improve the effect are given. They include built-in sensors, increasing sensitivity and sample rate. Analysis of the state quo indicates that the relevant technical standards and specifications must be revised to improve the normalization and standardization.

In this paper, we propose a novel categorization framework to recognize tactile sequences based on two particular properties of the tactile data. For the first one, tactile sequences are spatio-temporal data which is sequential and dynamic, depicting the process of grasping an object in different grasping stages;therefore, it is reasonable to discover the dynamical pattern by modeling tactile data as integral sequences rather than individual frames. For the second one, a tactile sequence contains various dynamical patterns in different stages of the grasping process;therefore, we decompose the whole sequence into multiple mini-sequences so as to enhance feature resolution. To address both properties in our framework, we take advantage of a Bag-of-System model using parameters of the Linear Dynamic System (LDS) as feature descriptors. Moreover, we employ the LDS with Symmetric Transition matrix (LDSST) rather than the original LDS as the building-block in order to obtain accurate codewords of the codebook of the Bag-of-System. The performance of our framework is evaluated on six real-world databases of three groups. Our experiments show that classification using LDSST is better than the original LDS, and the decomposition of tactile sequences does improve the accuracy of classification. The experiment results also show the superiority of our framework in comparison with other state-of-the-art sequence classifiers.

This article analyzes Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy models in system identification for model-based controller design. TS fuzzy model-based controls have been proposed to overcome the long-standing criticism of lack of stability of fuzzy controls. However, the application of these controllers is limited as TS fuzzy models for controller design can only be obtained by transformation of nonlinear mathematical models. The proposal that fuzzy controls be used as control methods for uncertain systems has deviated from the original intention of fuzzy control. In this work, we investigate the possibility of extending TS fuzzy model-based control into uncertain systems. We show the limitation of these control methods and clarify the gap between fuzzy model based-control and fuzzy model identification. For the identification of constant-affine state-space models, a subspace identification algorithm is proposed to identify the true local dynamics with zero initial conditions.

The rapid advancement of intelligence and connectivity technology (ICT) has enhanced the efficiency and safety of intelligent transportation systems (ITS). However, this also increases the complexity of the transportation systems, especially the social complexity, and poses new challenges for their management. This paper discusses the emergence of social transportation, as part of natural evolutionary adaptation to new traffic conditions and technology, which is a paradigm shift from engineering-centered technical systems to society-centered ecosystems. In social transportation systems, all participants including administrators, individual travelers and other stakeholders play a more proactive role in the operation and management of transportation systems. Therefore, we propose to employ a decen-tralized autonomous organization (DAO) as a model for the social transportation system that allows participants to collab.rate and coordinate without relying on a central authority. To meet the challenges brought by this transition, we propose to apply ACP-based parallel system theory to restructure the methodology of transportation management. Finally, we present a case study of personal carbon trading system where economic incentives are used to manage traffic demand, affecting others' travel behaviors, and reduce carbon emissions. In the conclusive remarks, we provide our visions and future directions of social transportation systems.
