As a fundamental means of intelligent service, recommender systems have shown a trend of diversification. Sequential recommendation, a class of time-aware methods, aims to predict the user's next click. Multi-interest representation is a hot topic in recommender systems, but the research on how to apply multi-interest into sequences is still in the minority. And many methods will introduce knowledge graph to improve the representation of items, but how to consider both knowledge graph and user's multi-interest in sequential recommendation has become a temporary blank. In this paper, we propose an attentive sequential recommendation with knowledge-aware multi-interest module (AKAMI). Items are embedded from the sequence's structure and user's interests. Specifically, we represent items by stacking self-attention layers to mine the internal correlation of the sequence. Meanwhile, we segment the sequence via the common neighbors in the knowledge graph and cast the user's multi-interest based on the aggregation of subsequences. Multi-interests are integrated into item representation by the gating network adaptively. Comprehensive experiments on two real-world datasets show that the proposed model performs better than various representative methods under different evaluation metrics. Additionally, we also visually explain the model through a case study. © 2022 IEEE.

Vehicle platoon is one of the concrete manifestations of multi-vehicle cooperative control and intelligent transportation. However, the velocity perturbation in the driving process will bring about stability and safety problems. The connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs) can obtain the motion status of the lead vehicle in real time and respond to it in time, which is of far-reaching significance to platoon control. Based on this, this paper focuses on the longitudinal driving strategy of connected autonomous vehicle platoons. Specifically, we provide a discrete double-integral model controller for each vehicle in a generic scenario, and the controller performs acceleration and deceleration control at each timeslot according to the state of the vehicle in front and its own state. Simulation experiments are designed by varying the size of the platoon and the number of connected autonomous vehicles. The experimental results show that the introduction of connected autonomous vehicles can effectively suppress the platoon velocity perturbation, increase the stability of the platoon driving, and significantly reduce the fuel consumption at the same time.

Partial discharge is the main reason for the deterioration of the insulation performance of electrical equipment insulators. The vicious circle of electrical equipment insulation under the action of partial discharge will eventually lead to the destruction of the entire insulation system. Effective detection of partial discharge is an important means to ensure the safe operation of electrical equipment. The optical fiber Fabray-Perot ultrasonic sensor has been widely studied because of its high sensitivity, strong stability, strong anti-electromagnetic interference ability, small size, and good insulation performance. In this paper, a diaphragm vibration model in a liquid environment is established. The composite diaphragm of the Fabray-Perot sensor is prepared by using the stainless steel diaphragm and 353 ND glue. The influence of the liquid environment temperature on the Fabray-Perot sensor is analyzed. The ultrasonic detection characteristics of the Fabray-Perot sensor are tested by the needle-plate discharge model, and compared with the traditional piezoelectric sensor. © 2021 IEEE.

In the field of railway transportation, with the continuous improvement of train running speed and the continuous increase of operating mileage, it becomes particularly important to ensure the safety and integrity of small-target infrastructure along the railway train. Although many small-target detection methods have been proposed, the research on small-target infrastructure detection along rail trains is very rare. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a small-target infrastructure detection network with spatial tracking and multi-level feature extraction based on Yolov8n. The experimental results show that ST-YOLO has a 3.6% mAP improvement on the OSDaR23 dataset compared to the baseline Yolov8n, and shows significant advantages over other state-of-the-art methods.

We propose and experimentally demonstrate an O-band electroabsorption modulated tunable in-series DFB laser array (EMTL). Four lasers with 400-GHz spacing in the laser array are placed in series to avoid the usage of an optical combiner and the additional power loss. The reconstruction-equivalent-chirp technique is used to simplify the grating fabrication and precisely control the grating phase. A semiconductor optical amplifier is integrated in front of the electroabsorption modulator (EAM) to amplify the output power. As a result, we realized 16 channels with 100 GHz spacing with the SMSRs of above 40 dB. The modulation bandwidth of the EAM is above 20 GHz, and 25Gb/s data per wavelength is obtained. The proposed EMTL shows the potential application as a compact and low-cost light source for DWDM systems, such as the next-generation fronthaul networks and passive optical networks in O-band. © 2022 IEEE.

We investigated the ferromagnetism of Fe- and Ni-doped SnO2 (110) surfaces and the regulation of the doped surface ferromagnetism by the oxygen vacancy and adsorbed O2 molecule. The introduction of Fe/Ni can make the nonmagnetic SnO2 (110) surface have a large magnetic moment and exhibit stable ferromagnetic coupling. The presence of oxygen vacancy weakens the surface magnetic moment and attenuates the surface ferromagnetic coupling. The adsorbed O2 molecule that fills the oxygen vacancy on the doped surface increases the magnetic moment of the defective Fe/Ni-doped SnO2 (110) surface, and has a significant effect on the magnetic coupling of the surface. © 2022, The Authors. Known as an intelligent learning algorithm that can be employed without any sufficient prior information, the reinforcement learning algorithm has been widely used recently. The underwater unknown 3D environment search is a typical application scenario lacking any prior knowledge. This study proposes an algorithm framework including one agent and an intelligent swarm based on the idea of reinforcement learning. This learning algorithm can be adopted to train only one individual. Many of such individuals will then create an intelligent group which can efficiently and completely search underwater unknown 3D environments. Moreover, the proposed algorithm needs no further prior knowledge of the unknown environment. Even if the algorithm fails to reach the optimal level in the use of reinforcement learning, the results confirm the applicability prospect of reinforcement learning in this field and provide an appealing direction. © VDE VERLAG GMBH ∙ Berlin ∙ Offenbach.

In multibeam satellite systems, multigateway architectures have been proposed to utilize the feeder link bandwidth effectively. However, multigateway configurations suffer from intra-beam cluster interference and inter-beam cluster interference, which leads to capacity performance degradation. Cooperation between gateways has become an effective scheme to eliminate interference among adjacent clusters. To maximize the sum rate in multigateway multibeam satellite communication systems while under the satellite transmit power constraints, we propose a robust weighted minimum-mean-square-error (WMMSE) precoding approach through multigateway collab.ration with considering practical feeder link interference. Given the estimated channel statistical error, the derived solution converges to a stationary point of the sum-rate maximization problem. Numerical simulations validate the performance of the proposed robust WMMSE precoder, and show the impact of the feeder link interference under multigateway architecture.
