Sentiment extraction aims to extract and group aspect and opinion words from online reviews. Previous works usually extract aspect and opinion words by leveraging association between a single pair of aspect and opinion word[5] [14] [9] [4][11], but the structure of aspect and opinion word clusters has not been fully exploited. In this paper, we investigate the aspect-opinion association structure, and propose a "first clustering, then extracting" unsupervised model to leverage properties of the structure for sentiment extraction. For the clustering purpose, we formalise a novel concept syntactic distribution consistency as soft constraint in the framework of posterior regularization;for the extraction purpose, we extract aspect and opinion words based on cluster-cluster association. In comparison to traditional word-word association, we show that cluster-cluster association is a much stronger signal to distinguish aspect (opinion) words from non-aspect (non-opinion) words. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach and the advantages against state-of-the-art baselines. © 2015 ACM.

Customized/personalized products are gaining more shares in today's product market. Such products need collective efforts from consumers, manufacturers and third parties. On the other side, the Internet of Things (IoT) with pervasive sensing/actuating/networking ability greatly facilitates remote operation of manufacturing activities and efficient collab.ration among stakeholders. This provides great opportunities to the above demand. Thus we propose a full-connection model of product lifecycle in the IoT-enabled cloud manufacturing environment. The model uses social networks to connect multiple parties and facilitate open innovations, IoT to glue physical space to cyber space and cloud manufacturing to provide various elastic services, so that the on-demand workspace, interaction, information sharing or collective problem solving are enabled. We also propose a supporting infrastructure for this model using the latest information and communication technologies. Finally, we present a RFID (Radio-frequency identification) enabled production system for customized/personalized products with the ability to enable a new paradigm of "dynamic processes and close collab.rations among different roles" and secure robust production.

Laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) provides a useful technique for food security as well as determining nutrition contents. In this paper, optical emission studies of laser induced plasma on commercial tea samples were carried out. The spectral intensities of Mg, Mn, Ca, Al, C and CN vibration bands varying with laser energy and the detection delay time of an intensified charge coupled device were studied. In addition, the relative concentrations of six microelements, i.e., Mg, Mn, Ca, Al, Na and K, were analyzed semi-quantitatively as well as H, for four kinds of tea samples. Moreover, the plasma parameters were explored, including electron temperature and electron number density. The electron temperature and electron number density were around 11000 K and 1017 cm-3, respectively. The results show that it is reasonable to consider the LIBS technique as a new method for analyzing the compositions of tea leaf samples.

Camera provides rich information about objects and therefore becomes the mainstream sensors in robots. However, it often fails when the objects are not visual-distinguished. As a complementary, tactile sensors in the robotic fingertips can be used to capture multiple object properties such as texture, roughness, spatial features, compliance or friction and therefore becomes a very important sense modality for intelligent robot. Nevertheless, how to effective fuse both modality is still a challenging problem. In this paper, we developed tactile-image fusion framework for object recognition task. The multivariate times series model is used to represent the tactile sequence and the covariance descriptor is used to characterize the image. We also develop a practical dataset which includes 18 household object for verification and the experimental results shows that the performance of tactile-image is obviously better than using single modality.

For the hyperspectral image (HSI) denoising problem, we propose a group-based low rank representation (GLRR) method. A corrupted HSI is divided into overlapping patches and the similar patches are combined into a group. The group is denoised as a whole using low rank representation (LRR). Our method can employ both the local similarity within the patch and the nonlocal similarity across the patches within a group simultaneously, while nonlocal similar patches within the group can bring extra structure information for the corrupted patch, which makes the noise more significant to be detected as outliers. Since the uncorrupted patches have an intrinsic low-rank structure, LRR is employed for the denoising of the patch group. Both simulated and real data are used in the experiments. The effectiveness of our method is proved both qualitatively and quantitatively.

With the rapid development of the hyperspectral technology, spectra unmixing has received more and more attentions. In this paper, in order to measure the similarity between the extracted endmember spectra and the actual corresponding spectra of land covers and maintain the spectral absorption feature, a wavelet weighted similarity is presented. And by introducing it into the minimum distance constrained nonnegative matrix factorization method, a spectral unmixing method based on the wavelet weighted similarity is proposed. Base on the experiments with real hyperspectral image, the feasibility and real performance of our method has been examined and compared with that of unsupervised spectral unmixing method.

The paper presents the design and performance of a V-band radiometer MMIC with 0.1μm GaAs pHEMT technology. The circuit includes a frequency double LO chain and a resistive mixer. The resistive mixer with balance structure topology can improve the image-rejection ratio. Compared with other mixers, the sub-harmonic mixer can achieve high isolation. The typical isolation measured between LO to RF is almost 60dB. The measured conversion loss of the mixer is from 13dB to 15dB over RF frequency 50-60GHz. The bandwidth of IF reaches 1 GHz. The circuit also exhibits very good phase difference between I/Q within 90 ± 6°. The completed mixer show 25dB image-rejection ratio (IRR) over the whole band.

The precise prediction of bus routes or the arrival time of buses for a traveler can enhance the quality of bus service. However, many social factors influence people's preferences for taking buses. These social factors may include heavy traffic cost, traffic congestion, poor air quality and so forth. Existing prediction techniques rarely consider social sensing when predicting the bus arrival time. Accordingly, this paper proposes a social sensing enhanced service for predicting bus routes, which integrates sensing ability and social networks to understand and measure the influence between social events and vehicle velocity. We focus on the analysis of two different attributions: PT service quality attributions PEAs and road condition attributions PRCAs. Both of them synthesize the social sensing in their evaluation of bus routes. PEA represents individual preferences and PRCA represents physical factors that significantly influence vehicle velocity. Bus relevant social events were further categorized into PEA events or PRCA events. PEAs of buses were scored according to the tendency of bus conditions reflected in social events. Furthermore, an artificial neural network prediction model is established to estimate the bus travel time. © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
