Due to the prediction errors and diverse driving styles of surrounding vehicles, traffic congestion and even accidents can occur in the traffic bottleneck area where vehicles merge into the main road. To ensure that connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) can quickly and efficiently merge into the main road, this paper proposes a cooperative trajectory planning method based on optimal control for vehicle cut-in scenarios. A optimal control model is constructed, and a quintic polynomial is used to generate the initial solution of the optimal control problem to accelerate the solution process and improve the success rate. Finally, The obtained merging trajectory is then synchronized with the movement of vehicles on the main road to optimize their actions and ensure a safe merging process. Joint simulation with Robot Operating system (ROS) and RVIZ is utilized, and the results show that the proposed algorithm can quickly obtain cooperative results, the locally successful merging trajectory meets the requirements of smoothness and safety, and if the solution does not allow merging, the merging vehicle is instructed to terminate the execution.

In this paper, two kinds of abnormal-shaped trihedral corner reflectors are designed, including circular arc and convex surface type. The radar cross section (RCS) of corner reflectors is simulated and analyzed in detail. In circular trihedral corner reflector structure, the width of 3dB scattering pattern is narrower than regular trihedral corner reflector of the same size, and the center of scattering pattern is also rotated. In convex surface corner reflector structure, its RCS is significantly lower compare to regular reflector of the same size. © 2021 IEEE.

K-means algorithm realizes clustering through the correlation between data, which is a typical unsupervised algorithm. But the K-means algorithm needs to set the corresponding number of clusters K first, and the accuracy of K greatly affects the performance of the algorithm. In multi-view SAR images, the similarity value of adjacent azimuth images of the same category is higher than the similarity of adjacent azimuth images of the different category. Therefore, the K can be estimated through the relationship between the azimuth angles, and the negative impact of clustering caused by the inaccurate setting of K can be avoided. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method for estimating the number of clusters K in SAR images based on the similarity relationship of multi-view SAR images. This method simplifies the use of K-means in multi-view SAR images. © 2021 IEEE.

Genetic algorithm is a feasible method to realize waveform intelligent optimization. Small population genetic algorithm has the ability of short-Term rapid optimization, while large population genetic algorithm has the ability of longterm better optimization. Based on the requirement of actual combat environment for optimization time, the performance of genetic algorithm with subsection variation of population size in phase modulation waveform optimization is investigated. A series of simulation experiments show that this method has advantages in some aspects, but different parameter settings will produce different effects. Further research and improvement are needed in the future. © 2021 IEEE.

Better thermal management is urgently required in the electronics industry. Ceramic fillers are widely used in electronic polymer packages due to their high thermal conductivity and electrical insulation properties. The interface between the fillers and matrix is usually the weakest point in the heating circuit of composites. Many modification methods have been proposed to increase the thermal conductivity of the filler-polymer interface, such as interface functionalization and hybridization. However, the method for promoting the interface thermal conductivity suiting for mass production has not yet been proposed. Here, a high-throughput and scalab.e method to enable significant improvement of interfacial thermal conductivity of boron nitride fillers via the surface dielectric barrier discharge in conjunction with roll-to-roll processing is reported. The plasma successfully grafts -OH groups on boron nitride and improved the thermal conductivity of the boron nitride/epoxy resin composites by 22.1%. The integration of convenient, solvent-free, and environmentally-friendly of this method offers a new opportunity for the development of thermal management in electronic devices, and flexible energy storage, and other fields. © 2021 IEEE.

The position and velocity of a moving source can be located by multiple geometrical separated sensors using the hybrid time difference of arrival (TDOA), frequency difference of arrival (FDOA), and angle of arrival (AOA). For the case where the TDOA measurement is more precise than the AOA measurement, this paper proposes a passive localization method based on a semidefinite relaxation technique (SDR). The localization problem is first transformed into a constrained weighted least-squares problem through pseudo linearization, then converted to convex semidefinite programming (SDP) problem using the semidefinite relaxation technique. Simulation results indicate that the proposed method can achieve Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB) at moderate noise levels and achieves a significant performance improvement over previous methods. © 2021 IEEE.

SAR images are highly sensitive to imaging conditions, e.g., depression angle, polarization mode and wave band. It is notable that existing enhanced structure in deep learning method does not consider domain discrepancy between training and testing data. In this paper, we employ the target domain selective pseudo-lab.ling to align the data distribution. To alleviate the mis-lab.lling issue, we introduce a novel regularization method, class confusion, the probability that neural networks misclassify the prediction between correct and ambiguous classes on target samples. Experimental results on the moving and stationary target acquisition and recognition (MSTAR) dataset can achieve state-of-the-art performance compared to other domain adaptation and model-based methods. © 2021 IEEE.

In this paper, a vertex triangle filling type abnormal corner reflector is designed. It's filled with a triangle plane parallel to three bevel edges. The designed corner reflector's RCS is calculated and analyzed in detail. The RCS decreases as the filling depth increases, and there is a clear linear positive correlation between the reduction of side area and the equivalent filling depth. The width of the 3dB scattering pattern is larger and RCS fluctuation within the effective azimuth angle is smaller. © 2022 IEEE.

We present a four-channel ultrafast wavelength-swept distributed feedback (DFB) semiconductor laser array based on the reconstruction-equivalent-chirp (REC) technique using instantaneous injection current modulation. With the aid of our designed laser driving circuit system consists of the microcontroller unit (MCU), field-programmable gate array (FPGA) and negative metal-oxide-semiconductor field effect transistors (n-MOSFETs), the precise pulse driving current for the 4-channel wavelength-swept REC-DFB laser array can be generated and a fast tuning of 16.424 nm within 10 μs is achieved. To further investigate the tuning performance of the proposed wavelength-swept laser source, we then applied it to the fiber Bragg grating (FBG) interrogation system and four FBG temperature sensor arrays were successfully demodulated. The development of high-efficient optical sensing systems heavily relies on the significance of the ultrafast wavelength-swept laser source, which has the potential to greatly enhance FBG interrogator performance in the future. © 2023 IEEE.
