With the rapid development of distributed energy resources (DERs), it is of vital importance to develop a well-designed transmission cost allocation scheme to reflect the contributions of DERs to the power system. In this paper, a usage-based transmission cost allocation scheme is proposed considering the capability of DERs. Based on the different intentions of transmission capacity, the transmission costs can be classified into four fractions: operating, contingency, planning and invalid transmission costs. On operating conditions, the transmission costs are identified and allocated according to the actual usage of consumers at each node. On contingency conditions, the transmission cost allocation will be influenced by the behaviors of DERs since DERs can provide emergent power support to help alleviate transmission congestion. On planning conditions, the transmission costs are useful in the future. The residual costs, i.e., the invalid transmission costs, should not allocated by consumers because this fraction is caused by the over investment of transmission owners. The case studies based on the IEEE 30-bus system validates the effectiveness of the proposed scheme and model. © 2016, Institution of engineering and Technology. All rights reserved.

A modular assembled missile is designed *** can assemble different cabins just before launching to meet different requirements,and in this paper we choose one of the combinations of the cabins for ***,we use the commercial software Fluent to simulate the aerodynamic of the missile with arc tail and canard rudder in the high maneuvering state at different attack angles and different flying Mach ***,by changing the boundary conditions of simulation,the variation law of the lift coefficient,the drag coefficient and the pitch moment coefficient with the changing flight velocity of the missile module is *** the subsonic and supersonic state,pressure cloud of the missile and the surrounding were both observed,then we compare them to verify the credibility of the *** last we make conclusions about the shortcoming and advantages of the missile's shape,and introduce our future works.

Design of fruits and vegetables online inspection system based on vision

This paper proposes a vision-based online fruit and vegetable inspection system. This system consists of two parts: the online detection of fruits and vegetables and the online weighing measurement of fruits and vegetables. Online detection system can detect the species of fruits and vegetables, and through the database to get the unit price of fruits and vegetables. The image processing includes image pre-processing, filtering, background removal, noise filtering and hole filling for recognition, and analysis of blocks. The weight of the fruits and vegetables is obtained by gravity sensor. Prices of fruits and vegetables can be displayed in real time in order to achieve the goal of unattended retail. This study built an online fruits and vegetables detection system which may be accelerated in the future for commercial uses.

In this paper, the reliability of the rolling bearing fault feature extraction based on casing vibration signals is discussed. Through the fault simulation experiment of rolling bearing, the vibration data of the outer ring fault, inner ring fault and rolling element fault, which respectively comes from bearing block measuring point and casing measuring point, is acquired. Then this paper analyzed the data from the time domain, frequency domain and amplitude domain. Analysis results show that, compared to the bearing block measuring points, due to the attenuation of the pulse signal of the fault in the transmission way and the increase of signal to noise on the casing, the fault features of casing vibration signals are significantly weakened. The envelope demodulation, FFT change on the vibration signal of casing directly cannot extract the fault characteristics. However the fault characteristic frequency can be extracted from the appropriate resonance frequency band. The results provide a reference for the fault feature extraction of rolling bearing based on the signal of casing. © 2016, Society for Machinery Failure Prevention Technology. All rights reserved.

Mitigating Congestion in Complex Transportation Networks via Maximum Entropy

In this paper, we reveal the relationship between entropy rate and the congestion in complex network and solve it analytically for special cases. Finding maximizing entropy rate will lead to an improvement of traffic efficiency, we propose a method to mitigate congestion by allocating limited traffic capacity to the nodes in network rationally. Different from former strategies, our method only requires local and observable information of network, and is low-cost and widely applicable in practice. In the simulation of the phase transition for various network models, our method performs well in mitigating congestion both locally and globally. By comparison, we also uncover the deficiency of former degree-biased approaches. Owing to the rapid development of transportation networks, our method may be helpful for modern society. In this paper, we consider a wireless network with one full-duplex (FD) base station (BS) and a set of half-duplex (HD) user equipments (UEs). In such scenario, in addition to the self-interference, the co-channel interference from uplink UEs to downlink UEs is the main bottleneck for the network performance. To overcome this, we consider the problem of maximizing the minimum fairness rate among all UEs by jointly determining the UE uplink/downlink directions and pairing the UEs over different resource blocks. We first show that the UE pairing problem is NP-hard in general. To develop efficient suboptimal algorithms, we formulate the considered problem as a mixed integer linear program and handle it by the iterative reweighted l_q-norm minimization (IRM) method. In particular, we propose a two-stage IRM algorithm that determines the UE transmission directions in the first stage followed by optimizing the UE pairs in the second stage. Simulation results are presented to show the efficacy of the proposed algorithm over some heuristic methods.

Promising applications of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) in various fields have raised concern over their environmental fate and safety upon inevitable discharge into aqueous environments. Currently, no information regarding the transformation processes of MOFs is availab.e. Due to the presence of repetitive π-bond structure and semiconductive property, photochemical transformations are an important fate process that affects the performance of MOFs in practical applications. In the current study, the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in isoreticular MIL-53s was studied. Scavengers were employed to probe the production of 1O2, O2•-, and •OH, respectively. In general, MIL-53(Cr) and MIL-53(Fe) are dominated by type I and II photosensitization reactions, respectively, and MIL-53(Al) appears to be less photoreactive. The generation of ROS in MIL-53(Fe) may be underestimated due to dismutation. Further investigation of MIL-53(Fe) encapsulated diclofenac transformation revealed that diclofenac can be easily transformed by MIL-53(Fe) generated ROS. However, the cytotoxicity results implied that the ROS generated from MIL-53s have little effect on the viability of the human hepatocyte (HepG2) cell line. These results suggest that the photogeneration of ROS by MOFs may be metal-node dependent, and the application of MIL-53s as drug carriers needs to be carefully considered due to their high photoreactivity. Coaxial-rotor configuration with the compact structure and vertical take-off ability make itself a good configuration to execute highly difficult task. In this paper, the structural design of coaxial-rotor system is introduced, and we discuss the control principle behind coaxial configuration. Then, the dynamic modeling is presented based on the combination of considering two rotors as dynamics model and the fuselage as the rigid body. Finally, the simulation is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the modeling.

Half-wavelength AC transmission (HWACT) is an ultra-long distance AC transmission technology, whose electrical distance is close to half-wavelength at the system power frequency. The countries with a large territory have a big demand for HWACT. The fault characteristics of an HWACT line can be different from those of a conventional transmission line. So it is necessary and significant to analyze the fault characteristics of an HWACT line. In this paper, the influence of fault distances and fault resistances on the fault voltages and currents of two buses is analyzed after different types of faults occur on an HWACT line. And the analysis results are compared with the simulation results from EMTP.
