Vision-based occupancy prediction, also known as 3D Semantic Scene Completion (SSC), presents a significant challenge in computer vision. Previous methods, confined to onboard processing, struggle with simultaneous geometric and semantic estimation, continuity across varying viewpoints, and single-view occlusion. Our paper introduces OccFiner, a novel offboard framework designed to enhance the accuracy of vision-based occupancy predictions. OccFiner operates in two hybrid phases: 1) a multi-to-multi local propagation network that implicitly aligns and processes multiple local frames for correcting onboard model errors and consistently enhancing occupancy accuracy across all distances. 2) the region-centric global propagation, focuses on refining lab.ls using explicit multi-view geometry and integrating sensor bias, especially to increase the accuracy of distant occupied voxels. Extensive experiments demonstrate that OccFiner improves both geometric and semantic accuracy across various types of coarse occupancy, setting a new state-of-the-art performance on the SemanticKITTI dataset. Notably, OccFiner elevates vision-based SSC models to a level even surpassing that of LiDAR-based onboard SSC models. Furthermore, OccFiner is the first to achieve automatic annotation of SSC in a purely vision-based approach. Quantitative experiments prove that OccFiner successfully facilitates occupancy data loop-closure in autonomous driving. Additionally, we quantitatively and qualitatively validate the superiority of the offboard approach on city-level SSC static maps. To effectively reduce the energy consumption of urban rail transit trains and optimize the operation strategy, based on the dynamic model of the urban rail transit train, the energy consumption model of four-stage manipulation strategy is constructed respectively, and the particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to solve the model. In this paper, an A-type train with four driving and two pallets are selected as the research object, and a case design is carried out on a flat ramp. The operation strategy is analyzed for the difference between vehicle traction energy consumption, regenerative braking energy storage, and total energy consumption. The corresponding speed-distance curve is obtained by simulation. The results show that the four-stage control strategy is generally helpful to achieve better energy-saving optimization effects. © 2021 IEEE

Compared with water at normal temperature and normal pressure, supercritical water had large differences and also had some unique characteristics. In this paper, some basic physical properties of supercritical water, included density, viscosity, thermal conductivity, dielectric constant, ion product, hydrogen bond, diffusion coefficient and solubility, were introduced. Some applications of supercritical water oxidation technology in waste treatment, hydrogen production by supercritical water gasification of coal and supercritical hydr thermal synthesis, were discussed. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In view of the present situation of oily sludge pollution, the different treatment methods for oily sludge in different uses were briefly described. The composition and structure of oily sludge are affected by sludge type, source, pyrolysis conditions and subsequent treatment conditions, which lead to different treatment methods and treatment effects. At present, there is no unified standard for the treatment of oily sludge at home and abroad, which brings difficulties to the unified management of oily sludge treatment. Through the toxicity analysis of oily sludge and its residues, it is helpful to judge the harmfulness of oily sludge and its treatment residues, according to the harmfulness of oily sludge, effectively choose different follow-up treatment methods, it is beneficial to establish the scientific standard of oily sludge treatment. In this paper, the present post-treatment indexes of petroleum hydrocarbon content, heavy metal ion content, water content, Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon content and sulfur content in oily sludge are summarized. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Time-delay systems are ubiquitous in nature and occur in connection with various aspects of physical, chemical, biological and economic systems. In this paper we propose a semi-definite programming method to address reach-avoid problems for time-delay systems modeled by polynomial delay differential equations (DDEs). The reach-avoid problem of interest is to compute an inner-approximation (i.e., sub-set) of a reach-avoid set, which is the set of initial functions enabling the time-delay system to eventually enter a desirable target set while remaining inside a specified safe set till the target hit. In our approach we first derive an estimate of discrepancies between current states and delayed ones for the time-delay system, and then propose a semi-definite program for inner-approximating the reach-avoid set via incorporating the discrepancy estimate. The incorporation of discrepancy estimates facilitates the reduction of conservativeness in computing inner-approximations. Finally, three examples with comparisons are presented to demonstrate the performance of our approach.

The dielectric and charge properties of XLPE insulation with different service periods are important to estimate the aging state of high voltage cables. The accelerated aging experiment was carried out to obtain the aged XLPE samples with the needle-plate electrodes using power frequency AC source. The surface composition and dielectric parameters of XLPE samples were measured and analyzed with the Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) and impedance analyzer. The surface potential and trap distribution of XLPE samples were measured by the isothermal surface potential decay (ISPD) method. The tested objects include the new XLPE sample, the samples with different electrical tree lengths, and the one with electrical tree breakdown. The results show that the aging of the electrical tree changes the dielectric parameters and trap distribution of XLPE samples. The dielectric constant increases with the length of electrical tree. The deeper and shallower traps appear simultaneously in the surface layer of XLPE insulation after electrical tree aging, and the trap density increases with the length of electrical tree. The trap energy level is the lowest and the trap density is the largest in the sample with electrical tree breakdown. The FTIR result shows that the absorption peaks of XLPE backbone structure decline obviously after electrical tree aging. The fracture of molecular chain and formation of low density area in XLPE sample are the main reasons for the change of dielectric and trap after electrical tree aging. © 2021 IEEE.

Mefentrifluconazole is a new chiral triazole fungicide with high efficiency and broad spectrum. Zebrafish embryos, larvae and adults were exposed to mefentrifluconazole racemate and enantiomers to investigate aquatic toxicity of mefentrifluconazole at the enantiomer level. Acute toxicity tests were conducted to determine the lethality of mefentrifluconazole. The developmental toxicity of mefentrifluconazole to embryos and larvae was also assessed during acute exposure. Besides, the growth parameters of adults were evaluated after 14 days' exposure. The 96-h LC50 ranges of rac-, R-(-)- and S-(+)-mefentrifluconazole to all zebrafish life-stages were 0.753-1.198, 1.092-2.022 and 0.583-1.056 mg/L respectively. Larvae were the most sensitive to mefentrifluconazole in terms of lethality, followed by embryos and adults. During acute exposure, morphological deformities caused by mefentrifluconazole, such as yolk sac edema and pericardial edema in embryos, as well as pericardial edema and spinal curvature in larvae were discovered. Besides, mefentrifluconazole induced significant developmental defects, including inhibited heartbeat and reduced body length in both embryos and larvae. After 14 days' mefentrifluconazole exposure, severe growth inhibition in adult zebrafish was observed. Mefentrifluconazole shows enantioselective toxicity in all stages of zebrafish, and the order of toxicity is S-(+)-mefentrifluconazole > rac-mefentrifluconazole > R-(-)-mefentrifluconazole. Further study is required to explore the specific enantioselective mechanism. Our findings enable a better understanding of the potential risk of mefentrifluconazole to aquatic ecosystems at the enantiomer level. © 2022 Elsevier Ltd.

Compared with direct thrust control and vector control methods, the model predictive control (MPC) is recognized as a more effective approach. However, the weighting factors in the objective function must be tuned, which greatly increases the computation burden. In this work, based on the fuzzy technique, one weighting factor optimization method is proposed to identify the suitable control action for the linear induction machine (LIM), which can effectively simplify the selection process. At last, comprehensive simulation results have demonstrated the excellent performance of the proposed method. © 2020 IEEE.

As China’s economy grows and urbanization intensifies, interchange pressures on urban rail transport are increasing in parallel, and the capacity of the existing CBTC system is saturated. Therefore, this paper uses virtual coupling to reduce passenger pressure during peak periods. A collab.rative optimization model is proposed to balance train utilization, train dwell time, and passenger waiting time to optimize train schedules. We use the CPLEX optimizer to solve the model and generate a train schedule based on the optimal solution. Numerical experiments based on real-world operations verify the validity of the model.
