In this paper, we propose a two-level audio fingerprint retrieval algorithm to satisfy the demand of accurate and efficient search for advertisement audio. We use the spectrum modulus to extract two kinds of audio fingerprints from global and local view of the audio frame, and then we carry on a two-level advertisement audio search. Cloud computing integrates the computation, storage, network etc., making it behaves as a virtualized computing resource pool, and provides services to customers with the dynamic on-demand and measurable way. In order to manage these resources, some cloud computing platform management systems composed of different function modules have been developed, and the coupling between these modules is very low. Therefore, the deployments of these cloud computing management systems are very flexible. However, the deployment architecture affects the performance of the cloud computing platform. This paper employs a high level formalization method, Performance Evaluation Process Algebra (PEPA), to model, analyze, and evaluate the Openstack cloud computing platform deployed by a common deployment architecture with the angle of resources. The findings reveal the key factors affecting the cloud computing platform performance and the potential solutions of deployment architecture to improve performance.

IPv6 technology is considered as the key to solve the problems such as point light source controlled separately, multi-scene controlled flexible and user-friendly, control signal with minimal latency, plug and play heterogeneous devices, green energy and so on. The cache partition mechanism is introduced to solve the problem of contention and pollution of caches in Chip Multiprocessor. One of the key questions is to analyze online the utility characteristics and efficiency of cache requests originating from different sources. Cache request is differentiated by hardware thread context id. Based on the working set model, within a certain sampling time frame, a number of specific cache lines are preserved by modifying the cache address mapping mechanism and its number is the same as that of the hardware threads of the processor, performing statistics on the frequency of Stack Distance under LRU respectively. Based on the characteristic of the frequency distribution of Stack Distance, We propose a metric, L*D, to measure online the recognition of the cache utility efficiency of the working set and providing information for the decisionmaking of cache allocation and management. Experiments performed in multiple Benchmarks in Spec Cpu2000 show that the online monitoring mechanism and quantitative metric discussed in this article have achieved fine-grained online monitoring of the efficiency of cache utility based on the working set. Not only do they allow the online recognition of cache space utility characteristic, but they do also enable the identification of any changes in the efficiency of cache utility, achieving an accuracy of over 75%.

DTNs are prone to congestion due to limited resource on each node and unpredictable end-to-end delay. We aim to develop an effective congestion control mechanism in this paper. For this purpose, we first identify a list of major congestion factors by analyzing the causes of congestion. We then model the congestion control as a multiple attribute decision making problem (MADM), in which the weight of congestion factors is measured by an entropy method. To solve this problem, we present a MADM-based congestion control mechanism that determines a set of forwarding messages and its transmission order on each encounter event. Moreover, we design a buffer management scheme that deletes messages whose removal would incur the least impact to the network performance when the buffer overflows. Extensive real-trace driven simulation is conducted and the experimental results finally validate the efficiency of our proposed congestion control mechanism.

With parallel file systems increasingly growing in size, the performance of metadata I/O becomes critical for overall performance. Metadata-intensive applications create a lot of metadata I/O requests with a small amount of data, making metadata access become the bottleneck of system. We propose an optimization method based on aggregating and merging requests for metadataintensive I/O to deal with this problem. Extensive simulations show that the aggregate throughput of intensive file creating can be increased by up to 15.28 times and average response time can be decreased by factors of up to 99.27 percent when the aggregation period and request interval is configured as 0.8ms and 0.025 ms respectively. Simulations also show that the aggregate throughput of intensive metadata access can be increased by up to 8.45 times and average response time can be decreased by factors of up to 99.02 percent when the merging period and request interval is configured as 0.4ms and 0.025 ms respectively. Meanwhile, experiments show that our method can scale well with the number of metadata servers and clients.

The Residual Move Out (RMO) provides crucial information for updating velocity model in Pre-stack tomography. The accuracy and precision of picking result significantly determine the efficiency of the scheme. Two methods are produced respectively to warrant the requirements. The first method, namely energy spectrum based method, is conducted in a fully automatic way to ensure tomographic efficiency, and is very adapted to implement at the early iterative process of the tomography. The other method, which acts as a semi-automatic pickup based on the estimation of fourth-order cumulants, is executed to guarantee the accuracy for the late tomographic iterations. Practical applications witness the good effect of the two introduced approaches.
