Detection of Stealthy False Data Injection Attacks Against Cyber-Physical systems:A Stochastic Coding Scheme

This paper,from the view of a defender,addresses the security problem of cyber-physical systems(CPSs)subject to stealthy false data injection(FDI)attacks that cannot be detected by a residual-based anomaly detector without other defensive *** detect such a class of FDI attacks,a stochastic coding scheme,which codes the sensor measurement with a Gaussian stochastic signal at the sensor side,is proposed to assist an anomaly detector to expose the FDI *** order to ensure the system performance in the normal operational context,a decoder is adopted to decode the coded sensor measurement when received at the controller *** this detection scheme,the residual under the attack can be significantly different from that in the normal situation,and thus trigger an *** design condition of the coding signal covariance is derived to meet the constraints of false alarm rate and attack detection *** minimize the trace of the coding signal covariance,the design problem of the coding signal is converted into a constraint non-convex optimization problem,and an estimation-optimization iteration algorithm is presented to obtain a numerical solution of the coding signal covariance.A numerical example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

Vehicle platoon is one of the concrete manifestations of multi-vehicle cooperative control and intelligent transportation. However, the velocity perturbation in the driving process will bring about stability and safety problems. The connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs) can obtain the motion status of the lead vehicle in real time and respond to it in time, which is of far-reaching significance to platoon control. Based on this, this paper focuses on the longitudinal driving strategy of connected autonomous vehicle platoons. Specifically, we provide a discrete double-integral model controller for each vehicle in a generic scenario, and the controller performs acceleration and deceleration control at each timeslot according to the state of the vehicle in front and its own state. Simulation experiments are designed by varying the size of the platoon and the number of connected autonomous vehicles. The experimental results show that the introduction of connected autonomous vehicles can effectively suppress the platoon velocity perturbation, increase the stability of the platoon driving, and significantly reduce the fuel consumption at the same time. © 2023 IEEE.

The notable success of large language models (LLMs) has sparked an upsurge in building language agents to complete various complex tasks. We present AMOR, an agent framework based on open-source LLMs, which reasons with external knowledge bases and adapts to specific domains through human supervision to the reasoning process. AMOR builds reasoning logic over a finite state machine (FSM) that solves problems through autonomous executions and transitions over disentangled modules. This allows humans to provide direct feedback to the individual modules, and thus naturally forms process supervision. Based on this reasoning and feedback framework, we develop AMOR through two-stage fine-tuning: warm-up and adaptation. The former fine-tunes the LLM with examples automatically constructed from various public datasets, enabling AMOR to generalize across different knowledge environments, while the latter tailors AMOR to specific domains using process feedback. Extensive experiments across multiple domains demonstrate the advantage of AMOR to strong baselines, thanks to its FSM-based reasoning and process feedback mechanism. Weakly supervised 3D semantic segmentation has successfully mitigated the labor-intensive and time-consuming task of annotating 3D point clouds. However, reliably utilizing the minimal point-wise annotations for unlabeled data in complex and large-scale scenes is still challenging, such as only 20 points labeled in 2 million points. To tackle this challenge, we propose a new Uncertainty-aware Superpoint Graph Transformer (UaSGT) framework that utilizes minimal annotations for unlabeled data learning through reliable long-range supervision propagation from labeled superpoints to unlabeled superpoints. First, we propose a superpoint graph transformer to achieve long-range supervision propagation along the attention-based fuzzy subsets defined on superpoints. The attention-based fuzzy subset measures the membership of unlabeled superpoints to clusters centered on labeled superpoints. Second, we employ an uncertainty-aware membership rectification technique on the fuzzy subset to ensure reliable propagation among superpoints within the same category. This technique integrates an uncertainty prediction module to mask the influence of unreliable membership and a spatial prior refinement module to reduce uncertainty in intra-class membership degrees. Finally, experimental results on two large-scale benchmarks S3DIS and ScanNet-V2 demonstrate the superiority of our approach compared to the state-of-the-art with at least 90% annotation reduction, and our method also achieves comparable performance to fully supervised methods with less than 0.1% labeled points. Due to the prediction errors and diverse driving styles of surrounding vehicles, traffic congestion and even accidents can occur in the traffic bottleneck area where vehicles merge into the main road. To ensure that connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) can quickly and efficiently merge into the main road, this paper proposes a cooperative trajectory planning method based on optimal control for vehicle cut-in scenarios. A optimal control model is constructed, and a quintic polynomial is used to generate the initial solution of the optimal control problem to accelerate the solution process and improve the success rate. Finally, The obtained merging trajectory is then synchronized with the movement of vehicles on the main road to optimize their actions and ensure a safe merging process. Joint simulation with Robot Operating System (ROS) and RVIZ is utilized, and the results show that the proposed algorithm can quickly obtain cooperative results, the locally successful merging trajectory meets the requirements of smoothness and safety, and if the solution does not allow merging, the merging vehicle is instructed to terminate the execution. © 2023 IEEE.

Wide-bandgap(WBG)perovskite solar cells(PSCs)play a fundamental role in perovskite-based tandem solar ***,the efficiency of WBG PSCs is limited by significant open-circuit voltage losses,which are primarily caused by surface *** this study,we present a novel method for modifying surfaces using the multifunctional S-ethylisothiourea hydrobromide(SEBr),which can passivate both Pb^(-1)and FA^(-1)terminated surfaces,Moreover,the SEBr upshifted the Fermi level at the perovskite interface,thereby promoting carrier *** proposed method was effective for both 1.67 and 1.77 eV WBG PSCs,achieving power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)of 22.47%and 19.90%,respectively,with V_(OC)values of 1.28 and 1.33 V,along with improved film and device *** this advancement,we were able to fabricate monolithic all-perovskite tandem solar cells with a champion PCE of 27.10%,This research offers valuable insights for passivating the surface trap states of WBG perovskite through rational multifunctional molecular engineering.

Addressing the challenges posed by the substantial gap in point cloud data collected from diverse sensors, achieving robust cross-source point cloud registration becomes a formidable task. In response, we present a novel framework for point cloud registration with broad applicability, suitable for both homologous and cross-source registration scenarios. To tackle the issues arising from different densities and distributions in cross-source point cloud data, we introduce a feature representation based on spherical voxels. Furthermore, addressing the challenge of numerous outliers and mismatches in cross-source registration, we propose a hierarchical correspondence filtering approach. This method progressively filters out mismatches, yielding a set of high-quality correspondences. Our method exhibits versatile applicability and excels in both traditional homologous registration and challenging cross-source registration scenarios. Specifically, in homologous registration using the 3DMatch dataset, we achieve the highest registration recall of 95.1% and an inlier ratio of 87.8%. In cross-source point cloud registration, our method attains the best RR on the 3DCSR dataset, demonstrating a 9.3 percentage points improvement. Domain adaptive object detection (DAOD) aims to generalize detectors trained on an annotated source domain to an unlabelled target domain. As the visual-language models (VLMs) can provide essential general knowledge on unseen images, freezing the visual encoder and inserting a domain-agnostic adapter can learn domain-invariant knowledge for DAOD. However, the domain-agnostic adapter is inevitably biased to the source domain. It discards some beneficial knowledge discriminative on the unlabelled domain, ***-specific knowledge of the target domain. To solve the issue, we propose a novel Domain-Aware Adapter (DA-Ada) tailored for the DAOD task. The key point is exploiting domain-specific knowledge between the essential general knowledge and domain-invariant knowledge. DA-Ada consists of the Domain-Invariant Adapter (DIA) for learning domain-invariant knowledge and the Domain-Specific Adapter (DSA) for injecting the domain-specific knowledge from the information discarded by the visual encoder. Comprehensive experiments over multiple DAOD tasks show that DA-Ada can efficiently infer a domain-aware visual encoder for boosting domain adaptive object detection. In this paper, we endow the model reference adaptive control (MRAC) with a novel parameter-dependent input normalization (PIN) to completely eliminate the conventional assumption of the high-frequency gain. Specifically, neither the sign nor the prior knowledge of the upper or lower bounds is required. To this end, we resort to an error augmentation together with a smart design of an adaptive law with a dead zone operation. Global stability in the mean square sense is established with the conventional proof concepts of the augmented error approach. In this way, no persistent excitation requirement is required. Although the system in question is assumed to be unity-relative-degree, the proposed technique can be easily extended to systems of arbitrary relative degrees. Finally, compared with the Nussbaum function-based methods in a numerical experiment, we show that transient behavior in our method is significantly improved. © 2024 IEEE.

laboratory experiments are one of the important means used to investigate travel choice behavior under strategic *** experiment-based studies have shown that the Nash equilibrium can predict aggregated route choices,while the fluctuations,whose mechanisms are still unclear,continue to exist until the *** understand the fluctuations,this paper proposes a route-dependent attraction-based stochastic process model,which shares exactly the same behavioral foundation introduced in Part I of the study(Qi et al.,2023),i.e.,route-dependent inertia and route-dependent *** model predictions are carefully compared with the experimental observations obtained from the congestible parallel-route laboratory experiments containing 312 subjects and eight decision-making scenarios(Qi et al.,2023).The results show that the proposed stochastic process model can precisely reproduce the random oscillations both in terms of flow switching and route flow ***,an approximated model is developed to enhance the efficiency in evaluating the equilibrium distribution,providing a practical tool to evaluate the impacts of transportation policies in both long-and short-term *** the best of our knowledge,this paper is the first attempt to model and explain experimental phenomena by introducing stochastic process theories,as well as a successful example of applying experimental economics methodology to improve our understanding of human travel choice behavior.
