The widespread use of network access technology has enabled the mobile terminals to have multiple interfaces, which promotes the development of multipath transport. However, there exist some important issues on multipath transport, such as out-of-order packets problem which results from the different performance among sub-flows. Those will lead to unnecessary retransmission, even a decrease in throughput. This paper proposes a novel packet scheduling algorithm named Multi-level Correlation Scheduling (MLCS). MLCS proposes a multipath throughput model to calculate the throughput and paths correlation. MLCS pre-classifies the paths, and it can remove a sub-flow when the performance of the sub-flow is below the criteria, thus decreasing the effects of poor sub-flows and improving the overall throughput. Moreover, MLCS schedules packets based on the path correlations between sub-flows and path transmission ability, so it can make use of the network resources. The simulation results show an increase in throughput of MLCS compared with EMTCP and Coupled MPTCP.

Record linkage is widely used in many fields, which is a crucial step to increase data quality before data analyzing and data mining. The task of record linkage is to identify records that correspond to the same entities from multi-sources data. In this paper, we describe detailed process of record linkage through an application of internet video, with the purpose of guiding the practice. A method of combination of twice Iterative SVM (Support Vector Machine) training and controllable manual review has been presented. The experiment based on abundant actual data achieves over 98% in F-score.

Internet video is currently one of the most popular Internet services, accounting for more than 50% of the overall Internet traffic. Various access patterns of users worldwide contribute to increasing complex scenarios of Internet video. Under the circumstances, there emerges a valuable yet challenging topic that industry and academia keep focusing on: how to evaluate quality of experience (QoE) of Internet video in the wild? In this paper, we propose a comprehensive data-driven approach to evaluate QoE based on massive dataset extracted from a large-scale Internet video service provider. With the methods of feature engineering and fuzzy theory, we exploit user's situational features and session's quality features. Then we conceive an appropriate QoE evaluating model called bagging-based Bayesian factorization machine to correlate the aforementioned features with user's QoE. The experimental results demonstrate that our approach is adaptive for QoE evaluation on Internet video both in efficiency and effectiveness. Moreover, our approach achieves higher degree of accuracy compared with baseline methods, including what associated works present.

There are more and more mobile smart devices with high capabilities in both computing and storage, which leading to the device cooperation in vicinity becomes popular. As the first step in the device cooperation, the device discovery process is particularly important. Because of the mobility of the devices and the limitation of the energy, how to perform the device discovery process efficiently is the key of the device cooperation. However, the devices support not only one type of wireless communication modules, choose which module to perform the device discovery is the first issue to think about. This paper compares the existing wireless communication technologies and find the suitable method. Then proposes an optimized algorithm for the device discovery using Bluetooth Low Energy(BLE).
