Based on dynamic data of land use in 1980, 1990 and 2000, and by the table of Chinese ecosystem service value per unit area of different ecosystem types and ecological sensitivity analysis, a typical ecological fragile zones of the upper reach of Yangtze River was selected to explore land use changes and their effects on the ecosystem services value. Results showed that area of forest, grassland and wetland had the varying degree growth, and ecosystem service values showed an upward trend in the study region from 1980 to 1990. However, due to a dramatic increase in the area of construction land, farmland and unused land from 1990 to 2000, which were mainly transferred from forest and grass land, all kinds of ecosystem functions declined in different extents during the whole study period. The total ecosystem service values of the study region reduced from 11 119.16108 Yuan in 1980 to 11077.85108 Yuan in 2000, with the net decline of 41.31108 Yuan. The rapid urbanization and development mode aimed at economic interests have brought significant harm to the local ecosystem service functions and sustainable development.

Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) method was used to investigate the phylogenetic composition of river sediment from the Daliao River and near estuary (China). For surface sediments from different locations of the river and estuary, the total cell determined by DTAF (5-([4, 6-Dichlorotriazin-2-yl]amino) fluorescein) staining ranged 4.2 times 10 8 - 16.2 times 10 8 cell cm -3 , bacteria number determined by FISH with EUB 338 probe ranged 3.2 times 10 - 9.5 times 10 8 cell cm -3 . Up to 58-82% of DTAF counts can be identified by domain bacteria, among which, alpha-, alpha- and gamma-protebacteria summed up to 40%. Vertical distributions of microbial population and composition was also investigated in a core sediment sample (43 cm) taken from the estuary. Relative higher total cell number was found in the upper (0-5 cm) and middle part of the core sediment (23.5-29.5 cm). Total cell count ranged 7.9 times 10 8 -20.1 times 10 8 cell cm -3 . About 62-85% of the total cell could be affiliated to domain bacteria. alpha-, beta- and gamma-protebacteria widely distributed in the core sediment, with gamma-protebacteria as the most abundant group which made up 9.8-40.8% of total cell count. Archaea was detected at all sediment depths, and it account for 1.0-11.8% of total DTAF cell count.

A kinds of Methamidophos wastewater was pretreated by acidification and Fenton oxidation process, and the results demonstrated that, at pH value of 2.0 and reaction temperature 100degC, a removal efficiency of TOC and sulfide of was reached to 18.33% and 90.7% respectively, at pH value of 4.0, n(H 2 O 2 ):n (Fe 2+ ) of 30 and 3.0% of H 2 O 2 , that of TOC was reached to about 24.3%, while at addition of 20% Ca(OH) 2 and pH value of 11.0 to 12.0, total of inorganic phosphorus was precipitated completely from the wastewater.

In this paper, using export coefficient model and RS and GIS techniques, the NPS pollution load of Drainage Basin of Dahuofang Reservoir in the year 2000 was estimated, and its spatial distribution was simulated. Results indicates that the total nitrogen load is 3.90X103 tons, and that of total phosphorus is 1.57X102 tons, in which cropland, Qingyuan County and Xinbin County are important contributories. Analysis on the intensity load of NPS pollution shows that Xinbin County is the highest NPS pollution load areas, and these areas should be paid more attention in the future.
