This work deals with an experimental study of a Cu planar wire array(PWA)in air and water under the stored energy 300-1200 J.A single Cu wire is adopted as a controlled *** configurations of PWA and a wire with the same mass(cross-section area)but the different specific surface areas(15-223 cm^(2)g^(-1))are *** transient process is analyzed using high-speed photography in combination with the results of optical emission and *** characteristics revealed that PWA always has a higher electric power peak,early but higher voltage peak,as well as faster vaporization and ionization process than the single-wire *** to three times stronger optical emission could be obtained when replacing the single-wire with PWA,indicating a higher energy-density state is ***,in both air and water,single-wire load tends to develop a transverse stratified structure,while PWA is dominated by the uneven energy deposition among ***,the synchronism and uniformity of the PWA explosion are discussed.

In this study, the home energy management problem, which can be regarded as a high-dimensional optimization problem, for numerous residential houses, is addressed. The concept of the aggregator is utilized to reduce the state and action space and to handle the high dimensionality. A two-stage deep reinforcement learning (DRL)-based approach is proposed for the aggregators to track the schedule from a superior grid and guarantee the operation constraints. In the first stage, a DRL control agent is set to learn the optimal scheduling strategy interacting with the environment based on the soft-actor-critic framework and generate the aggregate control actions. In the second stage, the aggregate control actions are disaggregated to individual appliances considering the users' behaviors. The uncertainty of an electric vehicle's charging demand is quantitatively expressed based on the driver's experience. An aggregate anxiety concept is introduced to characterize the driver's anxiety on the electric vehicle's range and uncertain events. Finally, simulations are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach under dynamic user behaviors, and comparisons show the superiority of the proposed approach over other benchmark methods. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper investigates a double auction-based peer-to-peer(P2P)energy trading market for a community of renewable prosumers with private information on reservation price and quantity of energy to be traded.A novel competition padding auction(CPA)mechanism for P2P energy trading is proposed to address the budget deficit problem while holding the advantages of the widely-used Vickrey-Clarke-Groves *** illustrate the theoretical properties of the CPA mechanism,the sufficient conditions are identified for a truth-telling equilibrium with a budget surplus to exist,while further proving its asymptotical economic *** addition,the CPA mechanism is implemented through consortium blockchain smart contracts to create safer,faster,and larger P2P energy trading *** proposed mechanism is embedded into blockchain consensus protocols for high consensus efficiency,and the budget surplus of the CPA mechanism motivates the prosumers to manage the *** studies are carried out to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

To solve the problems of the rapid deterioration of the three-stage overcurrent protection performance after the extensive access of inverter distributed generators, the deterioration of the traditional longitudinal protection performance, and the problems of 0/0 calculation results and insufficient waveform difference measurement of the existing similarity protection algorithms, a longitudinal protection scheme based on M_T comprehensive similarity was proposed. Firstly, the transmission communication delay of the 5G core network is analyzed, and the mini-slot technology is proposed to effectively reduce the communication delay. Secondly, the M-K mutation initiation algorithm adapted to the characteristics of inverter DG faults was used to replace the traditional phase current mutation detection algorithm. The fault self-synchronization with higher precision was realized. Finally, M_T comprehensive similarity is constructed to describe the difference between the short-circuit current waveform of the system side and the inverter-distributed generator side. The changes in the similarity coefficient of faults in and out of the area are analyzed. A new principle of longitudinal protection based on the comprehensive similarity of M_T is formed. The simulation results show that the proposed new protection principle can reliably identify faults in and out of the area, will not have the anomaly of 0/0 of Pearson coefficient and cosine similarity calculation results, and has better antitransition resistance ability than the Tanimoto similarity algorithm, which is fully suitable for distribution networks with distributed generators. © 2024 Institute of Physics Publishing. Reasonable planning scheme of electric vehicle charging station directly affects the economic benefits of charging station operators, and also relates to the convenience and satisfaction of electric vehicle users. In order to balance the interests between charging station operators and electric vehicle users, and provide a reasonable basis for the number of charging piles, this paper studies the planning of electric vehicle charging stations. Firstly, the charging behavior of electric vehicles is analyzed, and the classical queuing theory is used to calculate the charging queuing index of electric vehicles to ensure the charging satisfaction of electric vehicle users. Secondly, the economic benefits of charging station operators and the time cost of users constitute the economic indicators of the system, and the planning model of electric vehicle charging station considering the efficiency of charging station utilization and user waiting time is proposed. Finally, the practicability and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by 5-node charging station network. © 2022 IEEE.

Transverse magnetic field(TMF)contacts and applying external TMF are often adopted for reducing the ablation of the contact surface,but TMF will also affect the breaking performance of the vacuum *** this work,we investigated the influence of weak TMF on the expansion of the plasma in the post-arc phase with one-dimensional implicit particle-in-cell/Monte Carlo collision model,and we added an external circuit to the model to ensure the correctness of the calculation *** simulated multiple magnetic field strengths(<30 mT),compared the plasma expansion process with the TMF strengths of 0 mT and 10 mT,and discussed the influence of metal vapor density on the insulation performance recovery of the vacuum *** the results,applying TMF with strength below 5 mT has little effect on the expansion of the plasma,and the TMF can increase the plasma density which improve the flow capacity of vacuum circuit breakers when the magnetic field above 10 mT,which is because the particles become more difficult to leave the discharge area under the force of the magnetic *** general,we find that weak external TMF may adversely affect the breaking performance of the vacuum circuit breakers.

Aiming at the dual closed-loop control of dual-active bridge (DAB) charging and discharging circuits in energy storage devices, which is difficult to allocate discharging current reasonably based on battery performance, a fuzzy weighted controller with battery pack voltage and its variation as input is proposed. The domain of the fuzzy controller is designed and the fuzzy solution is achieved through the weighted average method. The obtained output is combined with the weighting law to construct a fuzzy weighted control law, Thus, adaptive allocation of battery discharging current for each channel is achieved. By building a simulation model, the proposed fuzzy weighted control law is applied to a dual channel dual active bridge circuit for simulation verification. The experimental results show that the fuzzy weighted controller based on dual channel and dual active bridge battery discharge can achieve dynamic voltage equalization of battery packs with different performance under discharging conditions, thus verifying the correctness of the theoretical and design methods studied in this paper. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

X-ray converters for electron accelerators are commonly employed to treat materials that are difficult to penetrate with electron beams. After target material and thickness were optimized using Monte Carlo code Geant4 simulation, the converter's conversion efficiency did not perform well. The initial electron loses a large amount of energy in the form of reflected electrons. A V-shaped conversion target is proposed to improve the utilization of the reflected electrons and hence the conversion efficiency, and the simulation results confirm the assumption. The higher the angle of the V-shaped target, the higher the optimal conversion efficiency of the X-rays. The conversion efficiency of the V-shaped tantalum target with an angle of 80° reaches 12.38% at an incident electron energy of 5 MeV, and 17.11% at an incident energy of 7.5 MeV. Additionally, the adverse implications of the large angular distribution of the V-shaped target are discussed. © 2022 IEEE.

The vulnerability and network loss of active distribution network (ADN) will be influenced with the integration of distributed generation (DG) and electric vehicles (EVs). In order to solve this problem, a double-layer optimization model considering reactive power optimization of electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS) and network reconfiguration is proposed. The upper-layer model optimizes the line switch state combination of ADN to reduce the vulnerability value of ADN. The lower-layer model optimizes reactive power of EVCS to reduce the network loss of ADN. Particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used to solve this optimal problem. Finally, the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed optimal model is validated by IEEE33 node test system. © 2022 IEEE.
