Candidate bacterial phylum CSP1-3 has not been cultivated and is poorly understood. Here, we analyzed 112 CSP1-3 metagenome-assembled genomes and showed they are likely facultative anaerobes, with 3 of 5 families encoding autotrophy through the reductive glycine pathway(RGP), Wood–Ljungdahl pathway(WLP) or Calvin-Benson-Bassham(CBB), with hydrogen or sulfide as electron donors. Chemoautotrophic enrichments from hot spring sediments and fluorescence in situ hybridization revealed enrichment of six CSP1-3 genera, and both transcribed genes and DNA-stable isotope probing were consistent with proposed chemoautotrophic metabolisms. Ancestral state reconstructions showed that the ancestors of phylum CSP1-3 may have been acetogens that were autotrophic via the RGP, whereas the WLP and CBB were acquired by horizontal gene transfer. Our results reveal that CSP1-3 is a widely distributed phylum with the potential to contribute to the cycling of carbon, sulfur and nitrogen. The name Sysuimicrobiota phy. nov. is proposed.

In urban environments, complex transportation demands, including land, air, and maritime transport, are increasingly growing. While significant advancements have been made in land transportation and autonomous driving, research on urban air mobility (UAM) systems is still in its early stages. This paper presents an innovative urban air unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) framework: AirVista, which is designed and built based on the Artificial systems, Computational experiments, and Parallel execution (ACP) approach, integrated with a multimodal large language model (MLLM) agent. Considering that UAM tasks often require UAVs to possess fine-grained spatial perception and reasoning capabilities, and given that existing MLLMs are somewhat lacking in exploring 3D spaces, this paper further proposes an instruction fine-tuning strategy integrated with 3D spatial knowledge, which has been validated experimentally for its effectiveness. Additionally, to enhance the understanding of the efficiency of MLLM for UAV tasks, this paper delves into prompt fine-tuning templates tailored for UAV task decomposition. Through experimental demonstrations, we showcase that the prompt-tuned MLLM exhibits efficient task decomposition and execution capabilities in handling complex UAV tasks. © 2024 IEEE.

Deforestation is the primary source of global warming;traditional shelf labels use paper to display the price of the products, and human forces play a pivotal role in updating the tags where the pandemic has strictly limited its power. Various technologies provide connectivity and a fast-updating system to eliminate the paper-based approach. LoRa is one of the contenders to design the system for electronic shelf labels (ESLs). In this paper, LoRa has been used to minify data losses and guarantee the successful decoding of the carrier signals. The data parallelism at the network server (NS) is used to distribute the data packets among the gateways (GWs) for concurrent transmissions to the end devices (EDs). The EDs are placed in different ranges using machine clustering to avoid intra-SF interference and collision. The data rate (DR) and spreading factors (SFs) have been proposed to improve the performance of pure and slotted ALOHA for the properly allocated tags. The orthogonality principles follow industrial, scientific, and medical regulations (ISM) to avoid data traffic congestion. GWs under different duty cycles (DC) and bandwidth (BW) are examined to minify the network saturation and reduce the energy harvesting of the tags. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

Car-following is the most common driving scenario where a following vehicle follows a lead vehicle in the same lane. One crucial factor of car-following behavior is driving style which affects speed and gap selection, acceleration pattern, and fuel consumption. However, existing car-following research used limited categories of driving style through pre-defined patterns and failed to encode driving style into data-driven car-following models. To address these limitations, we propose the Aggressiveness Informed Car-Following (AICF) modeling approach, which embeds driving style as a dynamic input feature in data-driven car-following models. In detail, We design driving aggressiveness tokens using four physical quantities (jerk, acceleration, relative speed, and relative spacing) to capture the heterogeneity of driving aggressiveness. These tokens were then embedded into a physics-informed Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) based car-following model for trajectory prediction. To evaluate the effectiveness of our approach, we conducted extensive experiments based on 12,540 car-following events extracted from the HighD dataset and 24,093 events from the Lyft dataset. Compared to models devoid of considerations for driving aggressiveness levels, AICF exhibits superior efficacy in mitigating the Mean Square Error (MSE) of spacing and collision rate. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first work to directly incorporate real-time driving aggressiveness tokens as input features into data-driven car-following models, enabling a more comprehensive understanding of aggressiveness in car-following behavior. In order to solve the problem of small object size and low detection accuracy under the unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)platform,the object detection algorithm based on deep aggregation network and high-resolution fusion module is ***,a joint network of object detection and feature extraction is studied to construct a real-time multi-object tracking *** the problem of object association failure caused by UAV movement,image registration is applied to multi-object tracking and a camera motion discrimination model is proposed to improve the speed of the multi-object tracking *** simulation results show that the algorithm proposed in this study can improve the accuracy of multi-object tracking under the UAV platform,and effectively solve the problem of association failure caused by UAV movement.

This paper introduces the Image-based Modeling for Transformative Traffic control (IMTRAC) framework, which revolutionizes urban traffic management by integrating image-based representations, foundation models, and dynamic signaling. It transitions from textual to visual data analysis, transforming complex traffic scenes into quantifiable insights. The image-based representation is then analyzed by foundation models to infer refined and effective traffic control policies. Our experimental results show marked improvements in traffic flow and reductions in waiting times, highlighting IMTRAC’s ability to outperform traditional control methods. The proposed IMTRAC promises a significant leap towards smarter, efficient urban traffic systems, leveraging the synergy of advanced imaging techniques and multi-modal foundation models to enhance control decisions.
