By sensitive keyword retrieval, emergency warning systems can automatically monitor and follow up the situation, find the crisis occurs, and then give the alarm. Automatically retrieving and tracking for the particular occasion can not only save a lot of manpower and material resources, but is also more efficient. In this paper, containment control for continuous-time multi-agent systems with multiple interacting leaders is investigated. According to the role each agent plays in the multi-agent team, the agents are classified into two categories: leaders and followers. The containment control problem in this paper is that the leaders converge to a desired formation and the followers move into the convex hull spanned by the leaders' final positions. A sufficient condition for containment control is that the union of the interaction graphs has a spanning tree frequently enough as the system evolves. It is shown that the followers' positions in the convex hull are dynamic due to the switching topology. The theoretical results are illustrated by some simulations.

The core function of any profitable firm is capturing a share of the value that customer perceives in the firm's offering. Value capture is traditionally considered to relate to a competitive advantage at the firm level, but not the firm network level. However, the ever increasing role of information and knowledge in today's economy is profoundly changing how firms can create competitive advantages. Among these changes, we highlight reducing transaction costs in various areas of the economy, which drives the economy to organize more toward rapidly evolving networks or smaller firms. There is also an opposite trend for some internet firms to become larger due to economies of scale and due to network externalities. In this position paper, we examine the issue of value capture by firms that are increasingly small and operate in rapidly changing and evolving networks. We conclude by outlining future research on firm-level capabilities that are required to enable value capture in new forms of dynamic networks.

Social networks often serve as a critical medium for information dissemination, diffusion of epidemics, and spread of behavior, by shared activities or similarities be- tween individuals. Recently, we have witnessed an explosion of interest in studying social influence and spread dynamics in social networks. To date, relatively little material has been provided on a comprehensive review in this field. This brief survey addresses this issue. We present the current significant empirical studies on real social systems, including network construction methods, measures of network, and newly em- pirical results. We then provide a concise description of some related social models from both macro- and micro-level per- spectives. Due to the difficulties in combining real data and simulation data for verifying and validating real social sys- tems, we further emphasize the current research results of computational experiments. We hope this paper can provide researchers significant insights into better understanding the characteristics of personal influence and spread patterns in large-scale social systems.

There has been greatly increased interest in using embedded vision for aquatic environments. This paper presents a robust target tracking method for a free-swimming biomimetic robotic fish by means of embedded vision and central pattern generator (CPG)-based motion control. Specifically, an algorithm called automatic continuous adaptive mean shift (Auto-CAMSHIFT) is firstly proposed to obtain the position and size of the interested target. Then a fuzzy logic controller is developed to generate the control input closely related to the desired target. A CPG controller that is robust against small and unexpected disturbance, at the same time, is employed to produce coordinated signals for multiple moving joints of the robotic fish. Finally, aquatic testing results verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods and show a satisfactory performance.

Mobile robot navigation in smart environment has always been one of the most critical issues in robot research. Deployment of wireless sensor network (WSN) in new environment can provide the mobile robot with efficient aid of navigation and tracking. In this paper, we present a feasible scheme of WSN-aided mobile robot navigation which includes initial localization of mobile robot, orientation adjustment, network-layer path planning, motion tracking and correction based on RSSI in Grid-pattern WSN. Unlike other methods of robot navigation which might require a complex and intelligent robotic system for mapping and path planning, the aim of our method is to transfer complex environment detection and calculation from the robot to network and to decrease the reliance of intelligence on the robot itself. Experimental result shows that our proposed scheme is well-performed and can effectively navigate the robot equipped only with simply sensors for communication and obstacle avoidance.

Till now, most lawn is still irrigated manually or timely. That means lack of proper irrigation strategy and information management ability. However, irrational irrigation method will not only lead to unhealthy growth of lawn, but also waste of water. A new idea for lawn intelligent remote irrigation was put forward. The smart sprinkler strategy was created by researching the characters of lawn, such as water demand, heat resistance and diseases law. And the embeded control system can apply the strategy to irrigate intelligently. Tying the urban lawn features, the system was designed to be driven by solar, which makes it an energy self-sufficiency system. What's more, the sprinkler system gains the CAN bus-based network management function, which simplify the user's contol and management. Finally, the experimental results show that the system has the advantages of good effect, low cost, high reliability, easy maintenance, etc. And it will meet the demand of energy saving and environmental protection.

Unlike triple-polarized antennas, dual-polarized antennas can be easily implemented into thickness limited devices and thus have received much attention recently. Dual-polarized antennas have the potential to double the channel capacity in comparison with an omnidirectional single-input single-output (SISO) system. However, in real three-dimensional (3D) scenarios, dual-polarized antennas cannot capture the arriving power from the third polarization direction, which is orthogonal to the two-dimensional (2D) polarization plane. This will lead to power loss, which may significantly affect the resultant channel capacity. By proposing a novel two-sphere single-bounced geometry-based stochastic model (GBSM) and rigorously analyzing the change of polarization after single-bounced scattering, this paper studies the impact of the power loss on the channel capacity and specifies the conditions under which the channel capacity of dual-polarized systems is even worse than that of omnidirectional SISO systems. Not only that this is the first endeavor on this subject, but also this work is of practical importance in guiding appropriate deployment of dual-polarized antennas in real 3D indoor scenarios.
