In this paper, by using the flux-controlled memristor model, the finite-time synchronization problem of delayed complex-valued memristive neural networks (MCNNs) is studied. Firstly, according to the proposed memristor model, we model the MCNNs as continuous systems on voltage-flux-time (wp, varpi, t) domain. Then, we design a class of approaches to realize state synchronization between the drive and response systems, and the corresponding synchronization conditions are achieved. Finally, the effectiveness of results is illustrated with the simulations. © 2023 IEEE.

EK-Net++: Real-time scene text detection with expand kernel distance and Epoch Adaptive Weight

Recently, scene text detection has received significant attention due to its wide applications. Accurate detection in complex scenes of multiple scales, orientations, and curvature remains a challenge. Component-based methods have emerged as the dominant approach for offering a more flexible way to achieve superior performance. However, Component-based methods employ the Vatti clipping algorithm for multi-instance training to handle the difficulty of arbitrary-shaped text. Yet we identify several bias results from these approaches called the "shrinked kernel" leading to decreased accuracy. Additionally, almost all text detection methods fail to consider the characteristics of different datasets and directly assign fixed loss weights to multi-instances. To address these limitations, we propose a new approach named Expand Kernel Network (EK-Net++), which presents the expand kernel distance map to compensate for the previous deficiency and incorporates three-stage regression to complete integral instance detection. Furthermore, we design the Epoch Adaptive Weight algorithm which dynamically distinguishes the characteristics of different datasets. EK-Net++ not only achieves precise positioning of arbitrary-shaped text but also strikes a balance between performance and speed. Evaluation results show that EK-Net++ attains state-of-the-art or competitive performance compared to other advanced methods, e.g., F-measure of 86.72% at 35.42 FPS on ICDAR 2015, F-measure of 85.83% at 40.13 FPS on CTW1500. © 2024 Elsevier Ltd

Meta-Imitation Learning is a promising technique for the robot to learn a new task from observing one or a few human demonstrations. However, it usually requires a significant number of demonstrations both from humans and robots during the meta-training phase, which is a laborious and hard work for data collection, especially in recording the actions and specifying the correspondence between human and robot. In this work, we present an approach of meta-imitation learning by watching video demonstrations from humans. In comparison to prior works, our approach is able to translate human videos into practical robot demonstrations and train the meta-policy with adaptive loss based on the quality of the translated data. Our approach relies only on human videos and does not require robot demonstration, which facilitates data collection and is more in line with human imitation behavior. Experiments reveal that our method achieves the comparable performance to the baseline on fast learning a set of vision-based tasks through watching a single video demonstration. © 2022 ICLR 2022 - 10th International Conference on Learning Representationss. With the access of large-scale new energy and power electronic equipment,as well as the influence of various random uncertain factors,the analysis and control of dynamic security of large power grids become particularly difficult,so it is of great practical significance to study the disturbance propagation characteristics of complex power *** is an important parameter that affects the security of power systems,and the voltage phase trajectory contains abundant power grid ***,based on the measured data,this paper quantitatively describes the characteristics of dynamic space-time distribution of the voltage,and numerically reveals the different influences of disturbance on different nodes and the characteristics of disturbance ***,the geometric characteristics of the measured voltage phase trajectory are mined,the new trajectory distance is defined,the characteristic trajectory plane is constructed,and the spatio-temporal evolution law of voltage phase trajectory is *** the sequel,through the density-based DBSCAN clustering method,the characteristic tracks of voltage movement are clustered and analyzed,and the temporal and spatial correlation characteristics of voltage movement trends of each node are measured,and the law of disturbance propagation is ***,based on the measured data of IEEE 39-bus system,the simulation analysis is carried out,and the effectiveness of the presented algorithm is verified.

This paper is concerned with the controller design and the theoretical analysis for time-delay systems, a two degree of freedom (feedforward and feedback) control method is proposed, which combines advantages of the Smith predictor and the active disturbance rejection control (ADRC). The feedforward part of controller is used to track the set point, the feedback part of controller (ADRC) is used to suppress interferences and the Smith predictor is used to correct time delay. The proposed control design is easy to tune parameters and has been proved to effectively control systems with large time delay. The bounded input bounded output (BIBO) stability of closed-loop system is verified. Finally, numerical simulations show the effectiveness and practicality of the proposed design.

In sequential recommender systems, the main problems are the long-tailed distribution of data and noise interference. A Contrastive Framework for Sequential Recommendation (CFSeRec) is proposed to solve these two problems respectively. Token shuffling and adversarial attack data augmentation methods are used in the framework to improve the quality and quantity of training data, so that the long-tailed problem is mitigated. Through the application of projection head method, the sequence representation becomes more general and robust, rather than just adapted to the task of contrastive learning. Therefore, the impact of noise on sequence recommender systems is effectively alleviated. Experiments on four public datasets show that CFSeRec achieves state-of-the-art performance in the metrics of hit ratio and normalized discounted cumulative gain, when comparing to the seven previous frameworks.

This paper presents a novel optimal synchronization control method for multi-agent systems with input *** multi-agent game theory is introduced to transform the optimal synchronization control problem into a multi-agent nonzero-sum ***,the Nash equilibrium can be achieved by solving the coupled Hamilton–Jacobi–Bellman(HJB)equations with nonquadratic input energy terms.A novel off-policy reinforcement learning method is presented to obtain the Nash equilibrium solution without the system models,and the critic neural networks(NNs)and actor NNs are introduced to implement the presented *** analysis is provided,which shows that the iterative control laws converge to the Nash *** results show the good performance of the presented method.

Parallel Manufacturing is a new manufacturing paradigm in industry, deeply integrating informalization, automation, and artificial intelligence. In this paper we propose a new mechanical design paradigm in Parallel Manufacturing based on ACP method. The key is to regard the design procedure based on artificial design and emulation method as two independent procedures, which can be modeled as a parallel system. The design procedure based on ACP method does not include a real system, which is an inventive extension of the traditional parallel system. This method can be implemented with social information by introducing the definition of SDV, SDM, and Intelligent Design Manager, making it highly adaptive for social manufacturing and Parallel Manufacturing. © 2021 IEEE.

In this study, a novel nonlinear parallel control method is proposed for cascaded nonlinear systems using the backstepping technique. Unlike the existing state feedback control methods, the control input is taken into the feedback system. First, an augmented system is constructed to facilitate the constructing the Lyapunov function. Then, the backstepping technique can be applied to obtain the nonlinear parallel control law, and the stability analysis is shown using the Lyapunov theory. Finally, a simulation is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed parallel control method. © 2021 IEEE.

This study proposes a new event-triggered optimal control (ETOC) method for discrete-time (DT) constrained nonlinear systems. First, a new triggering condition is proposed. We show the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system using the proposed triggering condition and analyze the degeneration degree of the real performance index. Second, to perform the proposed ETOC method effectively, parallel control (PC) combined with adaptive dynamic programming (ADP) is applied. Finally, the validity of the ETOC method is validated by a simulation. © 2021 IEEE
