The wireless visual sensor network(WVSN)as a new emerged intelligent visual system,has been applied in many video monitoring ***,there is still great challenge because of the limited wireless network *** resolve the problem,we propose a real-time dynamic texture approach which can detect and reduce the temporal redundancy during many successive image ***,an adaptively learning background model is improved to discover successive similar image frames from the inputting video ***,the dynamic texture model based on the singular value decomposition is adopted to distinguish foreground and background element ***,a background discarding strategy based on visual motion coherence is proposed to determine whether each image frame is streamed or *** evaluate the trade-off performance of the proposed method,it is tested on the CDW-2014 dataset,which can accurately detect the first foreground frame when the moving objects of interest appear in the field of view in the most tested dynamic scenes,and the misdetection rate of the undetected foreground frames is near to *** to the original stream,it can reduce the occupied bandwidth a lot and its computational cost is relatively lower than the state-of-the-art methods.

It is very difficult to realize the networked tracking control of a controlled process with unclear mechanism. An adaptive networked tracking control method that we proposed can solve such a problem. The method is a data-based control scheme started from the input-output data of the controlled process. We have realized it in the NetCon system. Firstly, the T-S fuzzy model of the controlled object is established according to input-output data by using fuzzy cluster modeling *** the fuzzy prediction model is obtained by transforming it into the fuzzy singleton model through equivalent transformation.A series of control actions are derived by inverting the fuzzy singleton model according to the reversibility condition. These predicted values can compensate the data dropout and time delay in the network communication channels. The influence of external disturbance and uncertainty on system performance is eliminated by using internal model structure and adaptive control method. Finally, experiment results in NetCon system show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Live-maintaining work is essential for continuous power supply to the substation. To improve the safety and efficiency of live-maintaining work, this paper proposes an equipotential live-maintaining robot system suitable for 110kV voltage levels. Considering the narrow space, complex working conditions and strong electromagnetic interference in substations, binocular vision technology, manipulator trajectory planning algorithm based on time-energy optimization, high voltage electromagnetic shielding technology are utilized to develop the system, and the live-maintaining robot is successfully applied in actual substation. By accurately identifying and locating the joint bolts and insulator, the robot system can achieve equipotential live-disassemble, live-assemble the joint bolts within 18 minutes and live-clean insulator within 5 minutes, demonstrating its the effectiveness and practicability. © 2023 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of automation.

In this paper, we propose a hybrid algorithm that combines an improved Artificial Potential Field (APF) method with the Simulated Annealing (SA) algorithm for path planning of an electric power operation robot manipulator in complex distribution grid environments. To address the unreachable target issue inherent in traditional APF, we introduce a distance regulation factor to optimize the repulsive function. This modification allows the manipulator to smoothly approach the target point as it nears, while the repulsion from obstacles gradually decreases. Additionally, to overcome the limitations of the traditional SA algorithm, such as its tendency to get trapped in local minimum solutions and its inefficiency in complex environments, we propose an adaptive temperature rise strategy. This strategy increases the temperature, enhancing the probability of escaping local optimal solutions. When the APF algorithm becomes trapped in a local optimum, the improved SA algorithm is applied to escape the local minimum. Once the local optimum is avoided, the algorithm switches back to APF to continue the path planning process. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed improved APF-SA algorithm adapts effectively to various complex environments, achieving shorter planning times and higher success rates compared to traditional APF and SA algorithms. It successfully resolves the unreachable target and local minimum problems associated with APF. Finally, the feasibility of the proposed APF-SA fusion algorithm is validated through experiments conducted on an electric power operation robot experimental platform for distribution grid applications. © 2025 IEEE.

A Knowledge Enhanced Learning and Semantic Composition Model for Multi-Claim Fact Checking

To inhibit the spread of rumorous information and its severe consequences, traditional fact checking aims at retrieving relevant evidence to verify the veracity of a given claim. Fact checking methods typically use knowledge graphs (KGs) as external repositories and develop reasoning mechanism to retrieve evidence for verifying the triple claim. However, existing methods only focus on verifying a single claim. As real-world rumorous information is more complex and a textual statement is often composed of multiple clauses (i.e. represented as multiple claims instead of a single one), multi-claim fact checking is not only necessary but more important for practical applications. Although previous methods for verifying a single triple can be applied repeatedly to verify multiple triples one by one, they ignore the contextual information implied in a multi-claim statement and could not learn the rich semantic information in the statement as a whole. In this paper, we propose an end-to-end knowledge enhanced learning and verification method for multi-claim fact checking. Our method consists of two modules, KG-based learning enhancement and multi-claim semantic composition. To fully utilize the contextual information implied in multiple claims, the KG-based learning enhancement module learns the dynamic context-specific representations via selectively aggregating relevant attributes of entities. To capture the compositional semantics of multiple triples, the multi-claim semantic composition module constructs the graph structure to model claim-level interactions, and integrates global and salient local semantics with multi-head attention. We conduct experimental studies to validate our proposed method, and experimental results on a real-world dataset and two benchmark datasets show the effectiveness of our method for multi-claim fact checking over *** Codes 68T50 Copyright © 2021, The Authors. With the explosive growth of social networks, privacy preservation as a social good has been one common concern. Graph neural networks (GNNs) have been utilized by social network service providers to improve business service. However, traditional anonymization techniques of social networks cannot satisfy the desired privacy preservation of node attribute and graph structure and introduce information disturbance from the anonymization, leading to the performance degradation of GNNs in social network analysis. To protect sensitive user data and persist GNNs’ performance in social network analysis, we propose a two-stage privacy-preserving method of graph neural networks in the social network domain. During the first stage, we design a novel ∊-k anonymization method that can achieve ∊-local differential privacy (∊-LDP) and k-degree anonymity by incorporating the classical LDP and k-degree anonymization (k-DA) while retaining as much network community information as possible. At the second stage, we develop an adversarial training mechanism for GNNs to resist the disturbance from ∊-k anonymization and retain as much task performance as possible on anonymous social network data. Comprehensive experiments on several real-world social network datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method for privacy-preserving node classification, link prediction, and graph clustering in social networks. The proposed method represents an interesting and important combination of classical anonymous technologies and recent GNNs and can preserve user privacy while providing business service. © 2021 Elsevier B.V.

In practical applications, the photovoltaic and energy storage (PV&ES) system can reduce grid-connected power fluctuations and help solve the problems caused by the large amount of distributed photovoltaic generation connected to the grid. However, the presence of non-ideal factors such as rich voltage harmonics and large grid impedance in the grid may lead to the destabilization of the PV&ES system, so analyzing the stability of the PV&ES system under complex grid is needed. The emphasis of this paper is on the modeling and stability analysis of the PV&ES system. The accurate model is established by using the harmonic linearization, and stability analysis under different grid impedances is carried out using impedance analysis. As proved, the PV&ES system has better stability under weak grid, but poor stability under strong grid with lower phase margin. Based on this, a virtual resistance-based method for improving the PV&ES system output impedance characteristics is proposed to achieve better stability under different grid impedance conditions. The validity and feasibility of the above analysis are confirmed through simulation of three-phase grid-connected inverters prototype.

The data-driven attack strategies recently have received much attention when the full knowledge of the system model is unknown or difficult to be obtained for the adversary. Note that despite the critical parameters of the system model being unavailable for the adversary, the existing data-driven attack methods still depend on the linearity of the unknown system model. In this paper, we design a completely model-free attack strategy where the adversary with limited capability aims to compromise state variables such that the output value follows the expected trajectory. Specifically, we first construct a zeroth-order feedback optimization framework and uninterruptedly use probing signals for real-time measurements. Then, we iteratively update the attack signals along the composite direction of the gradient estimates of the objective function evaluations and the projected gradients. These objective function evaluations can be obtained only by real-time measurements. Furthermore, we characterize the optimality of these solutions via the optimality gap, which is affected by the dimensions of the attack signal, the iterations of solutions, and the convergence rate of the system. Extensive simulations are conducted to show the effectiveness of the proposed attack strategy.

Low-frequency noise, such as road noise from automobiles and interior noise from bullet train cars, is detrimental to passenger comfort. Active noise control provides us with a way of suppressing low-frequency noise. It generates a sound of the same amplitude and opposite phase as noise and uses it to cancel the noise. Conventional active noise control is complicated to apply. Thus, the objective of this study is to establish a sound field control system by using the equivalent-input-disturbance method. System identification was performed to obtain an ideal plant of a duct. The control system is constructed based on the equivalent-input-disturbance approach with a low-order controller. The experimental results showed a suppression effect of about 50% of the sound field.

With the rapid development of the transportation industry, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) tries to adapt to industry changes through constructing new organizational forms, management methods, and incentive mechanisms. However, many new governance issues have arisen due to the transportation system’s complexity, diversity, and uncertainty. DAO(Decentralized autonomous organization) enabled by blockchain and smart contracts are regarded as effective methods to solve the organizational governance problems for complex systems. Therefore, this article analyzes the main issues currently faced by ITS. Then, this paper proposed a 6-layer DAO structure framework for ITS and discussed its key research issues. Finally, a case study for the Macau transportation system is carried out, and further research directions are proposed. The DAO-based transportation system will represent the future trend of ITS development. This paper aims to motivate more discussion for this new direction and provide helpful guidance and reference for future research work.
