Path Tracking controller Design of Automated Parking Systems via NMPC with an Instructible Solution

Parking difficulties have become a social issue that people have to *** parking system is practicable for quick par operations without a driver which can also greatly reduces the probability of parking *** paper proposes a Lyapunov-based nonlinear model predictive controller embedding an instructable solution which is generated by the modified rear-wheel feedback method(RF-LNMPC)in order to improve the overall path tracking accuracy in parking ***,A discrete-time RF-LNMPC considering the position and attitude of the parking vehicle is proposed to increase the success rate of automated parking ***,the RF-LNMPC problem with a multi-objective cost function is solved by the Interior-Point Optimization,of which the iterative initial values are described as the instructable solutions calculated by combining modified rear-wheel feedback to improve the performance of local optimal ***,the details on the computation of the terminal constraint and terminal cost for the linear time-varying case is *** closed-loop stability is verified via Lyapunov techniques by considering the terminal constraint and terminal cost ***,the proposed RF-LNMPC is implemented on a selfdriving Lincoln MKZ platform and the experiment results have shown improved performance in parallel and vertical parking *** Monte Carlo analysis also demonstrates good stability and repeatability of the proposed method which can be applied in practical use in the near future.

The biosecurity hazards caused by pathogenic fungus have been widely *** the long-term coexistence of eukaryotic pathogens and quorum sensing bacteria in different habitats in environments,we hypothesized that they have social interactions via signal *** this work,we firstly discovered the well-known bacterial signal molecules play an adverse role in the cell morphology and metabolism in a model pathogen Trichosporon asahii.N-Tetradecanoyl-L-homoserine lactone(C14-HSL)was discovered to increase pathogen hazards of ***,which limited mycelium by 52%,but enhanced cell aggregation by 93%.Higher fluorescence intensity of tryptophan(59%)and aromatic protein(2-fold)contents after the treatment of C14-HSL,indicating that aromatic proteins helped aggregate Trichosporon and showed *** analysis revealed that C14-HSL upregulated the shikimate pathway(above1-fold)located in downstream of tricarboxylic acid cycle,which contributed to the synthesis of more aromatic proteins and the formation of larger *** limited mycelial growth of *** attributed to the up-regulated expressions of cell cycle *** fungal transboundary response to bacterial C14-HSL was controlled by signal transduction *** study provides new insights into the co-evolution of bacterial and pathogenic fungi in microecosystems.

Biochars are low-cost and sustainable materials for environmental *** this work,we pre-pared three biochars using pomelo peel(P-BC),algae(A-BC),and corncob(C-BC)to recover Cd^(2+)from wastewater via capacitive deionisation(CDI).A-BC possesses the highest amount of mesopores and nitro-gen functionality and attains the highest removal of Cd^(2+)via physical *** the electro-sorption capacity,C-BC and A-BC perform better capacitive removal of Cd^(2+)than P-BC due to the smaller charge-transfer and mass-transfer ***,this work investigated the impacts of surface morphology,cell voltage,NaCl,initial pH,and Cd^(2+)concentrations on Cd^(2+)capacitive removal and electrode regen-eration *** results indicated that A-BC and C-BC may be prospective materials for Cd^(2+)removal from wastewater by ***,the presence of competing cations at high concentrations may influence the removal of Cd^(2+)at a low level,requiring the modification of A-BC and C-BC in future work.

Disinfection byproducts in indoor swimming pool water: Detection and human lifetime health risk assessment

Quantification of regulated and emerging disinfection byproducts (DBPs) in swimming pool water,as well as the assessment of their lifetime health risk are limited in *** this study,the occurrence of regulated DBPs (e.g.,trihalomethanes,haloacetic acids) and emerging DBPs (e.g.,haloacetonitriles,haloacetaldehydes) in indoor swimming pool water and the corresponding source water at a city in Eastern China were *** concentrations of DBPs in swimming pool water were 1-2 orders of magnitude higher than that in source *** cancer and non-cancer risks of DBPs stemming from swimming pool water were also *** and dermal exposure were the most significant exposure routes related to swimming pool DBP cancer and non-cancer *** the first time,buccal and aural exposure were considered,and were proven to be important routes of DBP exposure (accounting for 17.9%-38.9%of total risk).The cancer risks of DBPs for all swimmers were higher than 10^(-6)of lifetime exposure risk recommended by United states Environmental Protection Agency,and the competitive adult swimmers experienced the highest cancer risk (7.82×10^(-5)).These findings provide important information and perspectives for future efforts to lower the health risks associated with exposure to DBPs in swimming pool water.

High strength and deformation stability achieved in CrCoNi alloy containing deformable oxides

Hard secondary phases usually strengthen alloys at the expense of *** this work,we made a dual-phase CrCoNi-O alloy containing a face centered cubic matrix and chromium *** one side,the dispersed chromium oxide nano-particles impeded dislocation movement and increased the strength of the *** another side,the spreading lattice distortion in CrCoNi-O high entropy solution locally relieved the severe interfacial mismatch and led to nanoscale variation of interfacial strain at the matrix-oxide interface,which facilitated dislocations’transmission from one phase to ***,unlike the strong but brittle oxide nanoparticles used before,the oxide phase here can afford significant dislocation activities during material’s plastic *** the mechanical properties of CrCoNi-O alloys with and without chromium oxide particles,it was found that the yield strength of the dual-phase samples was twice of the single phase CrCoNi-O alloy and strong strain hardening was obtained with ultra-high deformation *** density of nanotwins formed in dual-phase samples under high stress,resulting in significant strain hardening according to the well-known twinning-induced plasticity(TWIP)*** results shed light on optimizing the combination of strength and plasticity of compounds by modulating the variation of interfacial strain field based on the spreading lattice distortion.

Vibration Transfer Function of Railway Vehicle System and its Spatial Coherence Under Vertical Track Irregularity Conditions

Current research on rail vehicle system vibrations primarily relies on numerical methods, with vibration transfer functions commonly derived through data fitting. However, the physical mechanisms underlying these vibrations are not well understood. To clarify the vibration transfer function and its characteristics, four basic input vectors are defined, and an analytical method is proposed. The vibration transfer functions of the vehicle system are solved, and their spatial coherence is analyzed. The results show that there are two spatial scales and four coherent modes in the vehicle system. The track irregularity wavelengths are combined with two spatial scales to alter the proportions of basic input vectors and then show the characteristics of spatial coherence. Four coherent modes are involved in wheel-rail force and primary suspension force; two coherent modes are involved in bogie vertical motion; and their dominant modes vary with the input frequency. On the other hand, the coherent modes involved in the bogie pitching motion and vehicle body motion are single and fixed over the whole range of frequency. This study presents an analytical method for the rapid solution of dynamic responses in vehicle systems and systematically analyzes the coherence behavior of vibration transfer functions with respect to tracking irregularity wavelengths.

LCC converters incorporate the stray parameters of high frequency transformer and are commonly employed as the initial stage of high-voltage DC power supplies, enhancing both efficiency and power density. However, the significant overshoot that occurs during the startup phase of high-voltage DC power supply poses considerable difficulties for the circuit. In this article, a simple open-loop soft startup control method is proposed: First, the operation mode analysis method is used to accurately solve the time-domain model of the LCC converter under different duty cycles in continuous current mode (CCM). Second, an open-loop variable duty cycle soft startup control strategy from the energy transmitted view is derived. Finally, soft startup process corresponding to different startup time requirements are verified on a 200V/20kV experimental prototype. © 2024 IEEE.

Carbon dioxide (CO_(2)) mineralization technology has attracted significant attention, due tothe synergistic terminal treatment of CO_(2) and industrial waste. The combined CO_(2) mineralizationprocess with steel enterprises is a promising route to simultaneously address CO_(2)emissions and SS treatment. Recently, a serial of the relevant work focus on a single type ofsteel slag (SS), and the understanding of CO_(2) absorption by mineralization of various SS isvery ***, it is urgent requirement for systematic summary and discussion onhow to make full use of the mineralized products produced after the mineralization of CO_(2)in SS. This review aims to investigate the progress of CO_(2) mineralization using SS, includingthe potential applications of mineralization products, as well as the environmental impactand risk assessment ofmineralization product applications. Currently, the application of SSmineralization products is primarily focused on their use as construction materials with loweconomic value. With usage of the mineralization products for ecological restoration (*** soil remediation) was treated as an advanced route, but still remaining challenge infunctional materials preparation, and its technical economy and possible hazards need tobe further explored by long-term experimental tests.
