This paper presents the Intelligent Meeting Room, anongoing project dedicated to the development of anaugmented meeting room. which facilitates participantswith mobile device to argue or discuss their ideas. Forpresenter, the interaction becomes friendlier and moreefficient by personalizing shared devices-projector. Thecontext-aware note program, ConNote, can automaticallyadd the contextual information into note so that it lessensthe audience's burden of taking note. By making full usecontextual information, ConQuiz can help presenter toefficiently answer audience's question. ConLog modulecan create live meeting record. The underlying softwareinfrastructure is a multi agent system called SmartPlatform.

In the next fifty years, the main problem of AI is "the solution of multi-agent in the dynamic and un-forecast environment", the standard problem is the robot vs. robot or human vs. robot competition. Many real world optimization problems are related with time and some of them can be modeled by the Dynamic TSP(DTSP). A DTSP is harder than a general TSP, which is a NP-hard problem, because the city number of the DTSP is time varying. We have first given a mathematical model for DTSP. Then we have discussed the GT algorithm which is a algorithm solve static TSP problem. Based on GT algorithm, we have proposed an evolutionary algorithm, which can solve DTSP problem, given its details, analyzed its character and have given a graph of CHN144+1 problem. In the end, we have given the research area in future.

With the development of networking technologies and the advent of the peer-to-peer computing paradigm, distributed file-sharing systems like Gnutella are becoming prevalent over time. JXTA, an interoperable and platform independent peer-to-peer computing infrastructure, has been adopted in an increasing number of network applications providing file-sharing and cooperative service. In this paper, we propose the metadata search layer which serves as an enhancement to the CMS (content manager service), a JXTA-based file-sharing service. Through the metadata search layer, more precise search of resources could be conducted as opposed to the inflexible keyword-based search mechanism employed in most of current file-sharing applications in use. A compact general-purpose query language is proposed to facilitate the use of standard metadata schema and bridge the gap between users and metadata descriptions of resources. We exemplify the advantage of the metadata-based search mechanism over the traditional keyword search with a proof-of-concept application.

Time-domain analysis and frequency-domain analysis are two angles of view for us to study and survey a continuous function. We observe the function approximation problems from the frequency domain. We consider that a single-frequency sine function can be approximated by two Gaussian kernels in one period. According to that, we present that the first maximum amplitudes as well as their frequencies and initial phases can be used to determine the initial number, centers and widths of radial basis function (RBF) kernels. After the initial structure of an RBF network is determined like that, a small number of RBF kernels can be added in order to further improve the local approximation accuracy. The above viewpoint is verified by two approximation examples.

Publicly verifiable sealed electronic auctions are proposed. The schemes enjoy the following advantages. They require no special trusted parties. After bid opening phase, only the winning price is revealed and the relation of other bidding amounts keep unknown. The winning price is publicly verifiable. Our scheme supports the first-price auction, Vickrey auction and (M+1)st-price auction. Finally, the first-price auction is very efficient and the generic (M+1)st-price auction is applicable when a high standard of security is required. © 2004 IEEE.

Peculiarity rules are a new type of interesting rules which can be discovered by searching the relevance among peculiar data. A main task of mining peculiarity rules is the identification of peculiarity. Traditional methods of finding peculiar data are attribute-based approaches. This paper extends peculiarity oriented mining to relational peculiarity oriented mining. Peculiar data are identified on record level, and peculiar rules are mined and explained in a relational mining framework. The results from preliminary experiments show that relational peculiarity oriented mining is very effective.

Generalized learning is a kind of integrated machine learning methods, which combines symbolic learning with connective learning, fuzzy learning and evolution learning. This paper discusses the fundamental principle for generalized learning first. Then the generalized learning is introduced to remote sensing image recognition system (RSIRS for short) to obtain certain knowledge from training sample set for classification. The experiment result has shown the validity of generalized learning in knowledge discovering.
